My teenager and his date went to this McDonald on Friday around 10pm and ordered hamburger and chicken nuggets. The date noticed the nuggets tasted funny and only ended up eating a few (maybe 3 or 4) and on their way home (roughly 20-30 minutes later) she started throwing up. I contacted the manager the next day and she was totally rude and said that you cannot get food poisoning that fast, and I informed her you can and she did. She continued to tell me that isn't correct and I told her I didn't call to argue but to simply inform her that the chicken is bad and they need to check this situation out. Not only was she not educated on food poisoning she was also extremely rude. Staphylococcus aureus toxins can cause nausea, vomiting, and stomach cramps very quickly per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. All she had to do was google it but instead she chose to argue and not do anything. read more

Fantastic McDonald's location! I typically visit via the drive thru, but have made several trips inside. Service is speedy and long lines are taken care of very quickly. My food orders have always been correct so no complaints in that area. Management and staff are friendly and efficient. Slow and Worst Customer Service in the history of all Fast Food Restaurants EVER. Terrible customer service by a shift manager of all people....the employee of the restaurant who should know better. I went inside the McDonald's at Buckeye Lake for a carryout order and stood at the counter for a very long time waiting for anyone to come to front to take my order as employees swarmed around filling drive-thru orders. When an employee finally came up to take my order and while I was giving my order, the shift manager (who was at drink station) interrupted to tell the girl something about her shift ending. First, a manager shouldn't be discussing internal McDonald's employee business in front of customers, but definitely not interrupt in middle of a customer placing an order to do it. How rude! I told the shift manager that I thought that was rude and if she thought that was good customer service. Then shift manager rolled her eyes at me! Actually rolled her eyes and when back to making her drinks. Who teaches these people customer service skills?! I asked to speak to the manager and the cashier told me that the rude woman was the manager. I asked the rude woman (who was only a few feet away) to speak to her, but she ignored me. After several requests, she finally acknowledged I was speaking to her. I asked for the Store number, which she claimed she didn't know. I asked for the store phone number. She claimed she didn't know that saying, "I don't know I never have to call here." Seriously?? What store manager doesn't know their store number or phone number? There's more the exchange and rudeness, but long story short, I spoke to a different shift manager who supplied me with the store number, I cancelled my order, ate somewhere else, called McDonald's corporate 800# the next morning, and am praying that I don't show up in a viral video as a crazy customer!
