Between the maple donut, strawberry long john (points for appearance with real strawberries on top), and cream cheese topped cinnamon roll, they all were consistently fine. The texture of each one was chewy if you prefer that style, and the fillings were whipped cream based compared to a buttercream that you might get elsewhere. It's a tiny old-school ice cream stand, done up in tropical/surfer garb. There was a taco truck beside it, but I'd had lunch. The menu is somewhat Latin American, but there are the usual favorites too. They had signs for a "mangolada," and though I didn't know what it was I got one. I usually go for the specialty of the house- there's often a reason for its being one. I assumed it would be something like a pina colada with mango added, but no: mango juice, lime juice, mango chunks, and hot pepper powder on the rim and throughout the drink. Not very hot, just a tingle, mostly cold and refreshing just with a little zip. Perfect on a warm spring day. Service was fast and friendly. Prices are good. Parking could be tight at busy times, so be careful. Definitely a place I'd visit a lot when in town.
