Food is a hit and miss 8-10 times! Fries always soggy af and as a Latino I'm not being mean I sound bad but the true the woman that work are either horrible at understanding English and Spanish or rude like crazy! I've ordered in both languages to make it easy on them and idk if they don't care or don't pay attention, I'll end up with that wrong order it's frustrating they don't always give receipts I've also had young workers take my order in non busy hours and rush the fuck out of me as I kindly ask to please give me a second I've had them completely just ignore me and say move forward and pay even though I haven't ordered all I needed ambience is dull and nothing special boring dead read more

Yesterday morning, someone sent me a meme about a BTS meal at McDonald's: https://twitter.com/whispers_finest/status/1401736587650605059. I Googled it and it's a real thing: https://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en-us/bts-meal.html. I sent the link to my wife and it made her crave McDonald's. She ended up stopping by this McDonald's in Chapel Hill on her way home from work and we shared "The BTS Meal" and a Two Cheeseburger Meal for lunch. Haha. It hit the spot for both of us. We've always liked McDonald's ever since we were little. The only difference here was the two limited-time sauces that came with The BTS Meal: Cajun and Sweet Chili. To be specific, The BTS Meal is simply a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, the two sauces, medium fries, and a medium drink. You can never go wrong with McDonald's chicken nuggets and fries. The Cajun sauce reminded me of Zaxby's, for some reason. I know Zaxby's isn't Cajun. Maybe it's like a Cajun version of Zax Sauce or maybe I'm misremembering and don't know what I'm talking about. The latter happens often. The Sweet Chili sauce reminded me of Mae Ploy Sweet Chili Sauce, a Thai sauce I ate often with chicken growing up. For my wife, the Sweet Chili sauce reminded her of the sweet, spicy, and sticky sauce that's commonly served on Korean fried chicken, except a dialed-back version of it. Both sauces have subtle kicks to them. We both thought the sauces were yummy. If you're reading this review on the day I'm posting it (June 9), then you only have 12 more days to try the special sauces. The BTS Meal cost $6.89 and the Two Cheeseburger Meal cost $5.19. After tax, the two meals cost $12.99 total. Like The BTS Meal, the Two Cheeseburger Meal also comes with medium fries and a medium drink by default. My wife ordered the Two Cheeseburger Meal because she knew it would be a meal that we could split easily. She didn't know that the Two Cheeseburger Meal was one of my go-to meals at McDonald's over the years, but now she does. The cheeseburgers were satisfying, as expected. The fries were nice and crispy, fresh, well-seasoned with the right amount of salt. Our Diet Coke and Diet Dr. Pepper tasted a little off, but we're also used to drinking the same drinks from cans without ice. I know fountain drinks can taste different from canned and bottled soft drinks. My wife said service was really good. The cashier at the drive-thru confirmed each item. My wife said the cashier was friendly and polite. This is McDonald's store #7182. I ordered a Mcchicken and the chicken was raw in the middle! I went to return they were closed! I went to get my money back. No sorry about that nothing!! How are they going to sell raw food?! The customer service is horrible and you have to check ur bag to see if ur food is correct! If you eat here you have to now check the temperature of the food!! read more

Apparently, this location continues to get orders wrong. I was in a hurry to get breakfast and decided to come back here. Made it clear to the staff that I had an egg allergy and I wanted a Sausage Biscut with Bacon, Cheese, and NO EGG. I go to work and I come across an egg in my sausage biscut... Apparently, they don't respond and refuse to refund. Had to dispute it with my credit card again and won. I guess I will continue to dispute charges every time I get an incorrect order. read more

Burgers were made well and accurately. French fries were fresh. Nice service and was not crowded. Clean and pleasant. Soft drinks may have been off a bit ( Diet Coke tasted somewhat funny). Definitely convenient for Sheraton guests and nearby apartments. read more

Stopped in to get some carryout for lunch from this McDonald's recently. The building is quite nice, and the food was OK, but the service was not the greatest -- when I walked up to the counter to place my order, I was greeted with a what-the-hell-do-want attitude. In order a fresh fish fillet sandwich and got one of my daughters a happy meal. All while driving eating I did not realize there was a dead fly in my fries until I dump the fries inside the sandwich box. I immediately started to throw up the food. I called and told the manger and he told me to bring everything back. Mind you I ate my sandwich but had fries left over and threw up inside the bag as well. I took the bag back and the manger immediately gave me attitude and TOUCHED THE BAG WITH HIS BEAR HANDS. Placed the bag where they serve food and THEN puts on a glove to see if I was lying about the food! What a bad experience! Absolute disgrace. Rude fellow at the register served the person who arrived after me out of turn. When I brought his attention to this matter, he did not care. I put in my order for an ice cream, he filled the cup only half way. I objected. He did not care about that either - no apologies. He said his name was Juan - no name tag... Simply rude, disgusting behaviour is what one must expect at this location. read more

Fourth time adding an item I specifically requested not to be on. They even put the little sticker on confirming it was a special order... but nope, food item was there. They cannot back out an order/reverse charge without you coming in (so they say)...because people aren't going to spend 10 minutes driving each way for $5. "Managers" have no contact information for the franchisee, if you leave your name and number for a complaint, you are never contacted again. (Did that on the 2nd AND 3rd time). Had to contact corporate tonight because the managers do nothing to address the concerns of customers with food sensativities when they screw up. Would recommend eating the mulch outside of the restaurant before using this place. read more

Decided to come back to this location after work, wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered 2 McDoubles and selected the option to add extra onions to both. That was literally it. Neither of them had any onions at all, no mustard, and no ketchup. But they smothered then both with pickles. This has happened to me twice with the same order. Idk who makes the food here but they clearly do not care at all and they do what they want. Neither does management. Clearly nothing has changed at this location and probably never will. It's sad that corporate doesn't care that their employees are rude/worthless. Bad look for your business especially with all these other bad reviews. read more

One of the absolute worst services ever. The lines at this drive through are horrific. Additionally, either the workers are stupid or very misinformed as they seem to never understand how customers can use the app to pay and will require you to still pay even after showing your code (that is connected to a method of payment already). Moreover, one time in the drive through, the worker informed us they had closed when it was 11:30 pm. However, there were other cars in line ahead of us and the website AND google both said the drive through does not close until after 12 Am. If they're short staffed, that's perfectly understandable, but it would be appreciated if they could actually explain that to customers. read more

I ordered 2 cheeseburgers, fries and sweet tea. I received my order fairly quickly by an employee that had a blank facial expression. She never said, "hello" or "thank you". The french fries were very cold. The two cheeseburgers were cold as well - no warmth what so ever. The only positive thing about this place was the sweet tea was decent. Overall a very poor experience in an area with high standards. I do not recommend this McDonalds. read more

Disgusted. Never going to this McDonald's again. My order today was unacceptable I'm getting sick just thinking about it. Ordered a Big Mac meal there on November 7th, 2018 and was horrified to find what appears to be an old yogurt lid on the bottom bun of the Big Mac, the bottom bun is also is so stale it's about as hard as a rock. My family won't eat at this McDonald's anymore because of the horrible customer service my husband received from one of their team members. My husband had to stop by this store for breakfast every time on his way to work. BUT UNTIL TODAY, when my husband finally got the chance to take a nap at his table after having lunch in the store after 8 hours of delivery work, he was interrupted and demanded by one team member to leave the store right away. Otherwise, they are going to charge him 10 dollars per half an hour. What kind of business is this? They drove their loyal customers out of the door. Can you believe that? After driving all night and arriving at Chapel Hill after midnight, my boyfriend and I really needed some food, and McDonald's was the only place that we could find within reasonable distance. We ordered 2 egg McMuffins, 2 medium fries, and 1 order of chicken nuggets through the drive through. The muffins were burnt, and the fries were lukewarm at best. The nuggets were also lukewarm and old. Moreover, we really wanted to order some ice cream instead of the fries and nuggets, but the employee at the drive through told us they were out of ice cream. When we arrived at the second window to collect our order, we saw the same guy making an ice cream flurry for someone behind us. I'm not sure what we did to offend him, but this was absolutely absurd. We thought to point it out to him directly, but we were exhausted and just wanted to eat and go to bed. Needless to say, I think a yelp review is more effective. Don't go here. For some reason, they didn't like us enough to sell us ice cream. read more

2 stars overall because it's McDonalds, and I wouldn't choose to eat here. For fast food purposes, it is still pretty low on my list to venture to because the food is nasty and just leaves you feeling gross about yourself. The ice cream sundae is what I go to McDonalds for. A great dessert if you're looking for something on the go, quick, and tasty! The vanilla caramel or hot fudge sundae are delicious. Make sure you ask for the peanuts on the side because sometimes they forget to give this to you and it's the best part. The nuts add a great topping and crunch to the creamy ice cream. A few times they have been stingy on how much custard they put in the cup and I've gotten it before where there's hardly any ice cream. If you complain though they are helpful and will offer a free one in return. The sundae is also low in calories so if you're at McDonalds, so your body a favor and only order this from the menu! read more

I seriously love McDonalds, it's a problem, I have to stop myself from eating it all the time. That being said, I have eaten a lot of M chicka don dons, and I agree with the other reviewers that this one stood out. It's super clean, the staff are super nice and all the food I've eaten there has been delicious, those salty fries, those melt in your mouth cheeseburgers. I even spent a few hours there recently while my friend had a job interview near by and had a pleasant and relaxing time. read more

Why Rate a McDonald's? Because , this location is close to my office has a friendly staff a double drive-thru and is CLEAN! A plus to me personally is the calorie count listed and clearly legible on the menu boards outside! read more

Its McDonalds; But this is the best one in town. Newly remodeled and clean. Of course the employees are pretty ghetto and subtly racist (Smile only for CERTAIN people), but its still one of the best ones in Chapel Hill. read more

I go through the drive-through frequently, and I consistently find this to be the fastest, most efficient McDonalds that I've used. Also, the workers are friendly and competent. I am disappointed that they are currently shut down for renovations. read more
