I also have to give this McDonald's a 2 statement review. Only thing saving it a one star review is the lady in the window. She was super nice. Ended with have a good day. Otherwise, the bottom of my biscuits was hard. The top was dry. My cheese not melted. My coffee was better than the one I had yesterday in Culpeper but that's not saying a lot. I never leave a review for any business ever, mainly because I don't have the time. I'm taking the time for this one. I'm gonna start this out with I worked for McDonald's (not this location) a few years ago when I moved to Virginia so I usually give any McDonald's employees the benefit of the doubt because I've been in their shoes. This location is just awful. I'm normally very patient, especially in the drive thru. I went through this morning for breakfast and from the time I entered the property to the time I left the property, it was a total of 22 minutes. I timed the drive thru on how long it was between orders when cars were moving and it was 3 minutes per vehicle. I used to work in the McDonald's drive thru specifically when I worked for the company and I'll tell you with absolute certainty that 3 minutes to take an order when there's no one in line once the order is taken is completely unacceptable and not okay. Adding on to the drive thru experience I had, the female employee taking the drive thru orders needs to be moved to a different position in the store because 1. If it's taking you three minutes to take an order, then you don't know what you're doing and need some extra training. I personally took an order and processed payment all in 2 minutes. No excuse. And 2. Need an attitude adjustment and quick. Work is stressful, especially for McDonald's. I've been there, I understand that 100%. It was not easy working the company and my feet are permanently damaged because of it. But she sounded like she had a million other things she'd rather be doing. I told her I ordered online and gave her my code and she sounded like it was inconveniencing her. Do better. And if you need help, please ask for it. It'll do wonders, I promise. And to make it even better, after spending 22 minutes in the drive thru, they didn't put the egg on my sausage, egg, and cheese bagel. I've also noticed with this location that stuff is just thrown in the bag without a second thought. I've gotten lunch from them and my fries were all out on the bottom of the bag because they were just tossed in. It's happened way too many times. Not acceptable. While this location is convenient to where I live, I don't think I'll be coming here anymore. I wish I still lived in Ruckersville because I've never had any issues with their location. I'm considering contacting the store and getting a refund for the overall experience I had this morning because from start to finish, it was in shambles. You're better off taking your business to a different location. read more

I went through the drive-through and I ordered a 10 piece, nugget male large fry, sweet tea, and two hamburgers. They told me to pull up at the reserve spot so I did waited about 10 minutes 15 minutes 20 minutes went by and my food is still not out so I'll give them a call. they didn't even know that I was sitting here in the reserve spot. Don't know where my order is or what I ordered or anything. This is the worst McDonald's do not come down here. Last night a gentleman came through the drive through, his order was not right. He came in to address it with the manager on duty. Instead of the manager acknowledging that they were short or understaff and correcting the order he essentially called the man a liar, over a cheeseburger and slushy with no ice. When the gentleman finally said to just give his money back, he was shorted. When he asked the manager he was told they don't refund for extra cheese. read more

The McDonald's on worth crossing is consistently terrible. The wait time in the drive thru is usually 25 mi it's or more. Way faster service and far better food not far at 2 nearby fast food places. read more

I wouldn't normally write a review for McDonalds, but this one has noticeably improved over the past 5 or 6 months. I'm not sure what happened but the service seems much more efficient and the staff seem very friendly. I have special dietary requirements and they accommodate my special order with no attitude but with a smile and a thank you. Whatever you guys are doing lately, keep doing it. read more

This McDonald's has the friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a McD. We go frequently as it's walking distance to our home. I've never had my order be wrong and food has been hot and fresh each time. I do find the drive thru to be on the slower side, but I'd rather wait a bit more and interact with kind people who make sure my order is fresh and correct than speed through only to get home and have incorrect cold food. read more

The staff is very friendly but they are often slammed at peak eating times. I took my kids at noon on Saturday and they had nearly 20 orders on the board - only one person working the register and a long line waiting. As a result it took a long time to get our food. In terms of quality - it's a McDonalds not sure what you are expecting. I have small kids so I will take them here because it's cheap and i know they will eat it and be happy with their happy meal toy. ‍ read more

We stopped at this McDonald's around 7:00 last night. Used the drive through. It took the longest time we have ever had to wait at a McDonald's. There were only two cars in front of us. When we finally got to the window we saw one worker taking care of in restaurant orders and drive through. Our food was cold to warm and wasn't worth the wait. Ordered 2 big macs, but got two big letdowns. The order was all kinds of mixed up... They quickly remade, but were unapologetic or concerned. It was like, oh well, it happens. Fries were served cold and dry as well and bsides having to have EVERYTHING on the order remade, the food was as good as it gets from McDonalds and almost worth the extra wait. read more

I found this restaurant very delightful. The staff was very friendly, the gourmet food was very enjoyable. I'll go so far as to say that this restaurant is the finest eatery I've ever been to. My favorite thing to order is the McFish. My doctor says that they'll clog my arteries, but I'll eat those son of a guns till the day I die. I want to be buried with 5 of em when I'm dead. The only thing I don't like are the stupid apple crisps. Gosh Darn Michelle Obama! If I want my offspring to be fat. Then lord Jesus let them be fat!!! This is kind of embarrassing but I figure nobody will read this. So sometimes when my grandparents aren't home I like to take my shirt off and let big mac grease run down my body. I have two BIG problems with this McDonalds. The tea taste like water. It seems the management is try to save some money. There was a time when they had the best tea in town. My second concern is the store dose not have a rain cover for the drive through. The actual pay/pick up window has a slight roof over hang. But when you order you food you will get wet. Isn't that part of the appeal of a drive through. read more

This is the best McDonald's ever! Always very competent and friendly employees at the drive through. The line can get a little long, but that's because McDonald's is awesome. Heading through Charlottesville this morning on the way to DC business, stopped in to get a drive through Egg McMuffin. About 15 miles down the road, opened the wrapper to eat it. The ham slice was bad, meaning the ham was spoiled or at least right on the line of being outright spoiled. Regardless, I spit out the bite I was chewing. The meal went into the next trash can when I gassed up in Warrenton. Have to head back a different way later today, but the meal was bad and the fact that the meal was put into a drive through order makes me think either the staff tried to pawn off out of date food to drive through customers or this restaurant has ignored serve-by dates. Either way, the sandwich was nasty and should not have been served. read more
