I should have expected the nickel and diming. $0.39 for a tiny cup of sauce- sure your sauce is viral go ahead and charge extra. But your lemonade is an upcharge as well and then I don't get a refill?? I got the naked tenders and I don't know what I expected but they were very bland. The fries were also bland, I guess they know people only use it as a vehicle for the sauce. This Raising Cane's is great! Stopped in on a long road trip--I gathered the order in the car and started it on the app. We arrived, got everyone settled at a table and after a few minutes of waiting I thought "this is taking too long--did I put in the wrong location?" Nope--I forgot to hit submit! As I started to fix my mistake a staff member (long bright red hair) approached to ask if we were waiting for an order and I shared my mistake. She was very empathetic. As soon as the order came in she prepped our drinks and brought them over. She also brought our food over once it was ready--with a toddler, we really appreciated her! The food was great--chicken was hot, juicy, and fresh. Fries were perfect. Sauce was as legendary as they say. Would definitely stop by here again. Finally got to try this place out. Told the young lady at the counter that this was our first visit and she recommended we try the box to get a taste of everything. Service was quick and everyone was friendly. There aren't a lot of tables inside but it looked like the majority of the customers at this particular location use the drive through more than anything. It wasn't packed, the seats were comfortable and they had some cools pictures on the wall. After ordering we sat down and waited maybe five minutes before our food came out. The fries were good and the chicken was hot and very juicy. The bread was nice and the sauce was pretty flavorful. I wasn't a huge fan of the coleslaw. Overall I can see why this place is so popular. There aren't any Raising Cane's where I live. Any rare occasion that I see one of their locations I always try to stop and get some! Their sauce is so different from other restaurant sauces and so so good. Their chicken sandwich is great and the toast is always yummy as well. The sweet tea is perfect here. They made our good fresh and hot. Everything was exactly as we ordered. I took a point off because the fries just aren't it. If they can upgrade their fries it would be a game changer. I stopped in for a later in the afternoon snack while driving through the area and expected old, dried up tenders and cold fries, but was very pleasantly surprised with how amazing the chicken was - hot and freshly battered/fried... definitely tasty! The dipping sauce was really good too! The fries, crinkle cut style, were decent too. Service was nice. The only issue was the drive-thru, it's wayyy too narrow for a full size pickup. Fortunately I went when they weren't busy, as I had to back up and attempt pulling in twice. I noticed the BMW SUV coming in behind me also ran of the curb trying to get into the drive-thru. Decided to check out raising canes after my friends kept raving about it, and I can confidently say that canes is more "finger licking good" then KFC. First impression on walking in the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable (it gave major In N Out burger vibes). The cashier was friendly, helpful and looked happy to be there. After the first bite of crispy, juicy warm chicken tender I fell on my knees and thanked Todd Graves (founder/CEO) for his wonderful creation. The canes sauce is tangy and pairs incredibly well with the chicken fingers. I also enjoyed Ice Ts Ice tea as well. The price to quality ratio is incredible especially compared to Chick Fil A. There is something to be said to sticking to what you know and doing it well. Raising Cane's as chain restaurant seems to take that approach. We enjoyed our visit today at the Charlottesville, VA location. Limited menu of fried chicken tenders, fries and Texas toast or bbq bread as we call it down our way. It was all good. The place was packed and the drive up line was crazy long. All that being said we got our food quickly, piping hot / fresh and with smile from the staff. food is great but the management is awful. my fiancé was working here and one manager in particular comes up to him and grabbed his facial hair and pulled it so hard that some of it was ripped out his face. Then he called into work to let them know he didn't have the gas to make it and was still marked as a no call no show. then with another manager he was working and he over heard a conversation and asked about it and she walked away and told another manager to come to the office because she has a "secret" to tell them. Which btw the secret was that he was getting fired. To sum this all up that manager put him down as a no call no show even though he did call. To me seems like they are bullies, very spiteful, and very unprofessional. Like if this is how you treat your employees then maybe get another job. read more

My new current favorite is the chocolate malt but the peanut butter banana and oreo mint are my all time favorites. They're so thick and flavorful, they're really some of my favorite shakes around. Every flavor I've had was good including the peach cobbler and strawberry. With 43 options you'll definitely be satisfied with whatever your heart picks out! I don't eat the food here very often but I like the walkin taco and the chicken sandwich (it's the quality you'd expect). Fries are pretty solid too. I got the Box Combo to try a bit of everything. The chicken was lightly crispy and fresh. I enjoyed the canes sauce, which was peppery and creamy. The Texas toast was very good and had a garlic butter flavor - it was light and fluffy. The cole slaw was probably my least favorite item in the box - it was too saturated with dressing and kinda soggy. Parking lot had a lot of water because of all the rain, drive thru and inside were packed by people fleeing the pouring rain for delicious food. But it was indeed delicious. Cainiac combo had a ton of food and while it took a bit to be ready because of all the crowd, it was delicious and piping hot and fresh. I shall forever be loving the House of the Drawk, as I shall forever call Raising Cane's because my friend Drawkland works at one of these glorious restaurants. Raising Cane's affirms my belief that bistros that strongly tout their own sauce, are probably using that sauce to compensate for a rather bland product. RC has been on my radar for a few years. I finally got around to trying RC earlier this week. It was "move-in week" for First Year students; I rolled in about 1.30 in the afternoon. The dedicated parking lot was crowded, but I had no difficulty in finding a space. I went inside and approached the counter, gazing at the menu. Not a great deal of variety: Chicken Fingers, The Box Combo, (Chicken Fingers), The 3 Finger Combo (Chicken Fingers), The Caniac Combo (Chicken Fingers), The Kids Combo (Chicken Fingers)... you get the idea. Let no one accuse RC of having a bloated menu! To be fair, a few sides were also offered: Cole Slaw, Texas Toast, Crinkle Cut (Read: Frozen) Fries, and Cane's Sauce. Gee... I think I'll try the Chicken Fingers! A la carte, the Fingers are $1.29 each. I ordered 5, $6.45, and a cup of Cane's Sauce, 39¢, Water to drink. After paying $7.87, I snagged a four-top, and my Food was delivered to my table in less than 10 minutes. The Fingers were piping hot, too hot for me to dive into all at once. After letting them cool a bit, I broke one open and sampled it without sauce. Very clean taste, not excessively greasy, but unspeakably bland. I guess that's what the Cane's Sauce is for. Inside my clamshell, there were the Fingers in the right compartment, and the Sauce in the left compartment. The problem is that the cup of Sauce has a footprint too large for the left compartment, and it will rock and slop when you uncap it and try to dip into it. Having gotten past all that, the Fingers were solidly in the "okay" range. I ate 2, and took the rest home. The next day, they were still solidly in the "okay" range. Being a Lab/Golden girl, I was smitten by the 3 Raising Cane dogs, and am very impressed with their community involvement. If they resume the Plush Puppies, I'll be sure to buy one. read more
