Love Cracker Barrel restaurant. I have never had a bad experience. They always get my order right. Wished they would bring back the country samples with meatloaf dumplings and country ham throughout the day.

Stopped by while traveling but I definitely could have passed this visit. Cracker Barrel is normally always delicious and fairly quick. But we waited over 50 mins for our food. The waitress didn't even give us a heads up about anything in the kitchen causing a delay. Also, it wasn't busy. The food was decent but the service and overall visit could have been better.

My family and I came here for brunch for Mother's Day. I was expecting a long wait because there were a bunch of people waiting outside. We were told 45-50min wait but got seated in 15mins! For it being super busy, they hustled! All 3 of us got the Mama's breakfast which was a ton of food, and so good. It comes with pancakes or french toast (I did french toast and it was like 4 slices of toast), eggs, bacon or sausage, and biscuits. I also added a side of hash browns and they were perfectly done. For a drink I did their half iced tea half lemonade drink which was yum and you get free refills!

2nd time in be last two months Cracker Barrel has screwed up a mobile order. Thought the first time was just a busy day, but now after this screw up will be deleting the app. Order was to be Turkey Breast and 2 sides, only got one side!! I don't recommend ordering mobile!

I ordered via grubhub-- paid $8 for country ham-- got the smallest, incredibly overcooked piece of ham. Will never eat with them ever again.

The space itself gives you a family bar feeling. Looks like it would be a great locals spot. They had enough tables for any size groups and it was very clean. For appetizers we had the fried pickles and pork rinds. I'd give the fried pickles a 2/5, they had flavor but lacked crunch. The breading was missing on 80% of the pickle. The pork rinds, FRIEND, those were probably the highlight of my meal. The sizzle and pop, the crunch, flavor...I'm drooling just thinking about them again. I don't think I can ever have them from a bag again. 5/5 Main Coarse we ordered the mac-n-skilled with pulled pork, the kids chicken taco with tots, brisket stuff shells, and brisket Philly cheesesteak with a side of hush puppies. Mac-n-skillet, the meat was a tad bit dry but had a good amount of cheese. Creamy. Only downside was the pork. 3.5/5. The Brisket Philly was cheesy, meat was good, great flavor just a bit too greasy. Hush puppies were good, nothing stood out in particular. 4/5. The kids chicken taco and tots were ok. Not enough cheese and the tortilla was hard, tots were just right. 3.5/5. The brisket stuffed shells were unique, loved the flavor just a bit too much cheese to meat ratio for me personally. The brisket was cooked perfectly. Would order again. 5/5 We were in and out in less than an hour. We were never rushed and the atmosphere was warm. The prices are reasonable as well.

Everything came out hot and crispy, and both the fish and the shrimp had the lightest touch of batter so the seafood flavor really came through. We ordered extra sides (a steal at $3 each!) of mac and cheese and beans. You could make a meal out of the mac and cheese itself-it is a very generous portion of creamy, cheesy goodness! The standout for me of all the dishes was the baked beans. You have never had beans like this. Trust me. I rarely eat beans because they're often too sweet, but Papa's beans are only slightly sweet and laced with an amazing smokey flavor (they are cooked with smoked brisket). I'm excited to come back and try the collard greens! On top of all the fantastic food, Jamar, the owner and chef, came out to ask us about our meal, which was the highlight of our visit. You will not meet a nicer, more caring restaurant owner! He really cares about his customers and you can tell the food is made with heart. It is truly a family business, with Jamar's mom behind the counter and home cooked recipes on the menu. It is worth the wait to get food this good, so kick back with a beer at one of the tables outside while your food is being prepared with love! 5 stars for food, 10 stars for service. It's like going to someone's home for dinner. Pro Tip: You can't see Papa's from the road if you are on North Delphine. It is on the backside of the mini-market on the corner (you may see the picnic tables on the side-that's where Papa's is!).

My wife and I stopped in and got two chicken sandwiches. All and all these sandwiches alone demonstrated a keen eye for quality. The chicken was tender and the breading has a good flavor. I look forward to this restaurant opening its doors completely. If you are just traveling through the area or are a local. I except this place to become a hometown classic.

Atmosphere is good. Feels a little uninviting or empty. Would be fun to have a couple tables outside in good weather. I think it may not even be a restaurant but more of a catering company so maybe interior is what it is because of that. It has really nice beginnings but just feels a little empty.

The food was good, albeit overpriced for the quantity. I had a craving for fried fish a few weeks ago and saw on Facebook that C&C was open for the day. This was a Saturday afternoon and the place was empty, save the two employees sitting behind the counter. The menu didn't have prices listed but I figured for fried whiting and a side, it couldn't be but so much. I ordered the fried whiting platter which was to come with a side, I chose collard greens. After 10 minutes my order was ready and I charged over $25 after taxes; sight unseen, I also tipped. For this price, I expected a superb and fulfilling meal. I can't express how livid I was when I got home and opened the box. While the whiting ended up being delicious, the two filets I had were so small and sad that I felt bad that the poor fish hadn't been given a chance to grow. To my surprise, there were 6 horribly over cooked fried shrimp included that I did not ask for, they were inedible. I realized then that I was given a fish and shrimp platter, again, not what I ordered. The "dinner roll" was nothin more than a Great Value (sorry Walmart) hot dog bun cut in half. There were no condiments available or offered and the greens were mushy. So, for $32.78 I ended up with 2 filets of whiting. There were so many things wrong with this experience and while I understand this is a relatively new establishment, it seems that maybe opening was a bit premature. The menu is very limited with no pricing listed. I expect to get what I order during a dining experience, not have the owner make the executive decision to change it without notice. What if I had a shellfish allergy? There are not a lot of dining options in Waynesboro, especially Black-owned and I'd really looked forward to supporting this establishment. Maybe I'll try again in a few months once they work out their kinks and communication. For now, I'll cook my own fried whiting.
