Otherwise it was fine. - The fries with the nuggets were limp - wife didn't complain so we left as is. But definitely could have been better. - Nuggets - count was correct but they forgot the sauces we wanted. Back I went to the cashier and she was busy. Asked another one - she handed me 2 chili and I repeated a second time "No, I wanted 2 BBQ and 1 chili." At that moment she rolled her eyes (as in YOU should be lucky that *I* am serving you today, attitude). David was quite proficient, however. Great food IF you have them cook it fresh off the grill. If it comes out of their heated drawers, you will get an over cooked, very dry piece of meat. We tried the new sirloin steak burger... OMG there was zero takes in the meat. Texture was good, but zero flavor. They exchanged it for quarter pounders, fresh off the grill. Much better! I would steer clear of the sirloin burgers... If I could give negative stars I would. We rarely eat out, if at all, but after being in the urgent care next door for over 3 hours, we wanted something quick and a treat for our son. We ordered a happy meal and two crispy buttermilk chicken sandwiches with fries and a drink. My drink was spilling out of the cup when he handed it to me, the fries were spilled inside the bag and when we got home, our sandwich was literally bread with chicken slapped in the middle! Negative 4 stars, absolutely worst experience ive ever had at a mcdonalds, and that's with 30+ years of visiting various locations. I waited in line for 15 minutes for a sausage mcmuffin with egg, and when the employee finally brought it out, he didn't even know it was my order and had me open the bag to check. I don't eat at McDonald's all that often I normally go to one of the other fast food restaurants when eating fast food. However, the commercials for the new buttermilk chicken made me decide to give them a try. My chicken and fries came out cold (the chicken was also way over cooked) and this was at the middle of lunch hour. I asked them to please give me fresh and hot food which they promptly said they will. However, they then seemed to forget about me. After waiting for awhile I asked about my food and got it a few minutes later. While it was hot this time the chicken was just ok, nothing special to make me come back for it. The staff was extremely nice and did make right on my initial issue. If I was rating just the staff I would give them 5 stars. Having seen this restaurant from day one through several updates over the years I have to say that the new update is nice. A clean modern look with good use of the space they have. McDonald's is an American institution and nobody goes there expecting a gourmet meal but they should be able to make what they do have as tasty as they advertise. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could give no stars, I would. My family and I went through the drive thru ordered a quarter pounder meal, buttermilk tenders, and a 6pc nugget mighty kids meal. They gave us all the right food, gave my daughter her nugget meal and she was eating it in the car. Got home sat down at the table and I wanted one of my daughters nuggets... as I picked one up it felt soft, the center was unusually soft for being cooked but the outside was brown and crispy. I broke it in half and IT WAS RAW!!! I was so LIVID and disgusted!! My 4 yo was eating raw chicken! My husband automatically called the store and set a complaint. But if my daughter gets sick for their mistake, there will be more consequences! I know there has to be a set timer or something for it to be cooking, so it was on them for their negligence! I am warning all future customers... if you go to this McDonalds or any fast food to always check to see if it's fully cooked. I am soooo embarrassed of going to McDonald's, it's no where to compare it from Chick-fil-A at all!! Came here because my god-son wanted a Happy Meal... so as a god-mother you try to please him with what he wants. Got to McDonald's around 2 and it was pretty busy now that they have two drive thru lanes open... so I went inside. Horrible horrible mistake, bc it was even worse inside. Only one register open and the employee was always occupied with something else, it took a good 10 minutes until I finally got to order. Oh, and guess what? Once I started ordering, the register started messing up which only made my order even longer to take. The employee kept saying "Is that all" (Gosh, really that's how you speak to your customer? SUCH POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE) Finally, the manager helped her staff but didn't even apologize to me that it was taking longer than usual. Then, I paid and got my order from the manager herself, and of course I check everything before I leave. The Happy Meal was missing fries, and she gave apples instead of the yogurt I asked for. I also had asked for Large fries, and didn't get that bc the staff forgot to add that on (so then she tells me to pay $2 something for something I had already ordered earlier but you forget to add it, come on you should accommodate to your customers... Chickfila at least apologizes and gives you whatever you were missing for free) I went ahead and spoke to the manager about this, and she went ahead and argued back. (It's not that I wanted anything for free, it's just the way they handled the situation very poorly.) Such Poor Management, and Lack of Accommodation! Then when I got home and started to eat with my god-son, he tells me "Where's my toy?" I looked in all the bags and sure enough there was no toy in any of the bags. This place never fails to mess up my order. Tonight's what am I getting was after digging through the bag to pull out orders the 10 piece nugget is a 4 piece. And then after waiting forever, I was told that it would be another 7 minutes for them to cook the chicken. The food is ok, but the wait can be up to 20 minutes. Our order is ALWAYS wrong! They often leave out entire pieces of our menu, and because they have you pull into a waiting slot, we have to get out of our car to have them fix the order. This defeats the purpose of fast food! read more

If I could give a zero I would. I don't stop often but every time I do there is an issue. This is the last straw. Just left urgent care. Feeling a bit down and thought a chocolate dip cone would be good. Can't go in, both ankles are swollen and wrapped up. Very uncomfortable. Go thru the drive in. All I ordered was a dip cone. $1.33. I pull forward and the clerk tells me to pull ahead and wait. No explanation. Almost 5 min later some one came out and said the machine had to warm up. Did I still want it? I had paid so I said yes. Over 5 min later as car after car goes by I went through the drive in and asked for my money back. I said I would pull out front a few minutes later a manager came out apologizes, gave me my money and said something? He was in a hurry and turning away as he spoke. Hello I have been to McDonalds and always lived near a McDonalds for over 30 years. To me this McDonalds has a little something special in the morning. I work in Chesapeake, and stop at this McDonalds nearly every morning. I always use the drivethrough, because it's fast. I drive up to the second mic to place my order and low and behold there's the most pleasant voice.(saying Goodmorning may I take your order. so pleasant and enlighting, veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy friendly just love to hear the well manners first thing in the morning. Then I say who is this?(to myself) So after about three or four months (I'm kinda like a regular now) I think is he a Manager or something because he doesn't dress in color like the other workers I see through the windows. However, I tried to look at his badge and I think his name is Greffrey or Groffrey , E or O, tomatoes. Might I add that my order is always correct and I love that you all put the salt,pepper,etc in a bag of it own and not just throwing it in the meal. Went to this location on Jan. 19, 2017. I was in the drive-thru line and it was taking too long and I was in a hurry so I went in. I ordered a cup of coffee and I gave the clerk $20.12. The clerk took my money and got my coffee. I took my coffee and I left. I went to work and around 1:00 when I got off I realized the clerk never gave me my change. I went back to McDonalds and I talked to the GM he told me he counted the drawer at 3:00 and he would call me after he counted it, so I gave him my name and number. I waited until about 7:00 that night and no one called,so I called the toll free number on the web site. I told the customer service rep. my story she said she was going to contact the franchise owner. I gave her my name, phone number, address and email. Well as of today no one has called me, so I guess it goes to show people are not honest anymore. I don't make a lot of money and $19.00 means a lot to me. It could be a tank of gas so I can get to work, but I guess McDonalds needs the money. No more Mcdonalds for me! read more
