I recommend mobile app and drive thru at this location. Safe yourself the frustration and don't go inside. Food is mediocre at best for even McDonald's. Double cheeseburger, and coffee and a sausage biscuit, are my go-to's for lunch and breakfast. Service is the worst part of the location next to the shady characters that you can run into loitering inside and trashing the bathrooms. It's the closest location and serves its purpose. However, McDonald's is overpriced as it is, then for crappy tasting and assembled food and poor service makes it less than appealing. For the best experience do the app and drive thru. read more

I've visited this locations a couple of times over the summer and it's been a disappointment each time. I know fast food isn't the most nutritious or delicious food options, but the food here is just not good. Every burger I've gotten tasted old and the bun was stale. For starters, not a fan of McDonald's in general. But I have a kid and sometimes she wants it, and they are convenient, as today. Bit of a line at the drive-through, but it moved fast enough. Friendly and helpful- I asked if I could get a McDouble combo, and they said no but recommended a 2-cheeseburger combo for under $5. Cool. Baby K got a Happy Meal, of course, and a limited-season strawberry shortcake McFlurry. People at the pay and pickup windows were friendly. She loved the McFlurry, though she said it was "pure sugar and Mama will be mad that I have so much energy." And she loved the Happy Meal, as always. My Coke was good; theirs is a bit different, and better. The meal... was barely good enough to call mediocre. The fries were undercooked and unsalted. The one thing I like at McDonald's is their fries, and these were probably the worst I've had at one. Mushy, not crispy, not salty. Maybe because they were a little busy? I only had a few, and pitched the rest. The cheeseburgers were ridiculously small, and unappetizing. I did eat them, but it was purely for sustenance. Thin flavorless patties, cardboardy buns, a thin layer of ketchup and mayo, one limp pickle on each. I should have stuck with a chicken sandwich or a bigger burger, but I wasn't super hungry and I was trying to grab something quickly. This location is HORRIBLE. I was in line to order with only one vehicle in front of me, it took them 10 minutes to take their order, then I had to wait another 5 minutes and ask twice if anyone was there before they took my order. The lady taking my order never asked for my code, never said thank you, never gave me a total. just said pull up. I then sat in line for another 15 minutes behind the 1 vehicle in front of me waiting for them to get a drink, yes a drink thats all that was handed to them. Once I got my food, drove back to work, I was late coming back for lunch. This is completely unacceptable. It is only the lunch crew that is bad. The morning service is the best. but they are even lucky to get 1 star. I usually do not go to this location around lunch because I have had this experience before. We ordered a simple order which consisted of a large and medium fry, a cheeseburger, and a 10 piece. Instead we got a 10 piece and a large fry. So obviously we went back around to ask for the rest with the receipt and there was a obvious confusion between us and the worker as to what we didn't get, eventually it was solved (ish) and we pulled around to a man standing outside at a window because the doors were locked? So we waited and the car behind us rudely pulled in front of us cutting us in line, finally we got to the order window to more confusion where we went back and forth trying to solve the problem and the employee still seemed very confused and in the end we finally got food and ended up getting another large fry, a cheeseburger and another 10 piece! Perfectly fine McDonalds. Kiosks speed ordering and I was able to pop in and out in less than 5 minutes for two ice cold sodas at a good price. The staff are working hard!!! I'm not a big fan of fast food. I don't do drive throughs often and I try and stick to healthier food options. However, sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet. This McDonalds happened to be at the right place at the right time. I was hungry, in a hurry, and the only other option nearby was Tim Horton's across the street. Too bad it was raining, and I didn't want to get out of the car. I pulled up to order my food and was greeted right away by the attendant. It was a little hard to hear, maybe the speaker volume could be turned up, but within a minute I was pulling up to the first window, eager to pay for my breakfast. By the way, I ordered a hash brown and an egg and cheese sandwich. The gentlemen that took my money was friendly and fast. On to the second window... I hardly had time to push the break and the window was open and another gentleman was handing me my food. I pulled around and parked in a parking spot to scarf everything down. There were plenty of spaces available, it was clean, and I wasn't the only one sitting in a car eating my meal. My food was piping hot and was exactly what I ordered. Fast, cheap, and friendly. This is the 2nd bad experience I have had at this McDonald's and it appear to happen when I go inside. So I walk into the McDonalds and the young lady is literally texting on her phone and does not see me come up. After about 20 seconds of standing right in front of the young lady, she looks up and acknowledges me. With an attitude the young lady says, "Can I help you?" So I asked the young lady politely, "May I please purchase 5, $5 gift cards?" Cashier: "Huh?" Me: "May I have 5, $5 gift cards please?" Cashier: "$5?" Me: "Yes, 5 of them." She opens a drawer to the left and there are no gift cards. She searches the counter. There are no gift cards. I know she was thinking out loud, but she looked at me and said, "where are all of our gift cards?" I said nothing as any response from me could have made this situation one I see on Facebook with confrontation with fast food employees and customers. She politely says, "let me go check the back." This was the first time she was polite to me in the interaction so far. She comes back and says, "we are out of gift cards." I said thank you and turn around and left. Reason I am writing this review is because I honestly felt like an inconvenience to this young lady the whole time. This is the most appropriate way for me to vent. Threatened to have me beaten up! Visited this location today around 8:30 pm. In the drive thru, I ordered a "Small Hot Chocolate and a Large Cafe Mocha." Initially, the lady rang in a Mocha Frappe and then changed it to a Cafe Mocha. I got to window #1 and paid. As I pulled up to window #2, the young man was busy on his phone. It took him a second to realize I was there and, without looking up from his phone, he handed me a bag of food. I explained that wasn't my order, that I'd ordered a hot chocolate and a Cafe Mocha. He finally looked up from his phone and handed me a Frappe and a Hot Chocolate. I explained that I'd ordered a Cafe Mocha, not a Frappe, and he looked at the screen and said, "That's what it says here," and went back to his phone. I drove round to the parking lot, and went in, hoping to speak to someone who could correct the mistake (it was cold, and I'd ordered a hot drink on purpose - otherwise I'd have just driven off). There wasn't a cashier when I walked in, but a minute or so later, someone came out from the back...the SAME guy that had been in the drive thru. He walked past me, face in his phone, and eventually saw me. I explained again that I'd ordered a Cafe Mocha, not a Frappe. He started to use the register to ring up a new drink, obviously not knowing how to use it. He kept trying to ring up an iced Mocha. Eventually, he went to the back, came back, and told me that someone was making me a new drink. And that's when the "fun" began. I was getting rather frustrated, as he was on his phone again. I said, "Maybe if you weren't on your phone all the time, there would be fewer issues." Him: "I didn't take your order." Me: "No, but you shouldn't be on your phone all the time." (I mean...he did try to give me someone's food when all I ordered was drinks - because he was on the phone). Him: "I don't care." Me: "With that attitude, you won't be here long." Him: "I'll get my uncle from the back to beat you up." Me: "I want to speak to your manager." He walked away. I saw a lady in the back and asked her to speak to a manager. Eventually, someone (possibly a manager) appeared with my new drink and asked what was wrong. I explained what had happened. The manager said: "I'm sorry about that," and I responded with "He won't be here long" and walked out. I'm not sure which annoyed me the most. That the kid was on his phone all the time, that he threatened to have me beaten up, or that he didn't have the balls to threaten to beat me up myself. Either way, this is NOT acceptable, and if this young man continues to work here, and the management continue to allow this kind of attitude in their staff, they are going to have major legal issues. read more
