The vibes here are great. Loved their take on an expresso martini. The reuben egg rolls were lackluster. Next I come here I'll get one of their burgers or sandwiches. Our server was fantastic and really friendly. Would love to come back.

Lamb Sliders- what's left before I remembered to take a photo! Soooo good!!

Great service, ambience and food. The lamb sliders were AMAZING! Bison Burger was different but still savory. Tomato Soup and Wings were very tasty too. Definitely a good spot to try when in the area!

We had our young and cool nephew and his girlfriend in town for a visit, so we decided to take them to the Short North for dinner. Arch City Tavern was PERFECT. So many creative things on the menu, and the ambiance was great. We ended up getting two starters--the brat corn dogs and the loaded Brussels--and I couldn't have been happier with our selections. Both were creative, delicious, and definitely worth ordering! Our server Aly was informative, personable, and made the evening just that much better!

Mom/Son belated Mother's Day date at the Columbus Museum of Art, then lunch following at Arch City. First time here. We started with the Lobster Mac & Cheese Shareable. To die for! My son got the Market Burger with Truffle Fries. I got the Amish Chicken Sandwich. But the name is deceiving. It's basically a Caprese Chicken Sandwich ("Amish"- cuz it's where the chicken's family is from)- SO DELICIOUS! And a side of the Roasted Brussels Sprouts w/ goat cheese & cranberries! Meghan was an excellent server with a smiling personality! We will definitely be back! And soon!

Arch City is a Short North staple! It has such an inviting atmosphere and it's perfect for every occasion. Whenever someone from out of town visits, this is one of the stops you need to take them to! The service is awesome and they have great weekday specials! Arch City has some of the best shareables and starters around, with the classic Brussels sprouts or French onion soup, to their southwestern spring rolls or specials like their Irish nachos! Their sliders and burgers are always phenomenal and all of their sandwiches will leave you happy and full! Go on and stop by!

It was good! The bar has a dark kind of vibe, we got brunch on Saturday- got the pulled pork breakfast skillet without avocado and chives. Me and my friend ordered very similar- service was good, prices were good. It was a nice place to try while we were in the area!

Perfect spot for beer and food

Kate was amazing! Her recos were spot on (lamb sliders and Amish chicken sandwich with loaded brussel sprouts). She kept the delicious beers coming, she checked in just the right amount of time so we didn't feel rushed but felt cared for. We had a prime spot so we appreciated how we were serviced. Ask for Kate, listen to her recos and enjoy!

I stopped by Arch City Tavern and the service was great quick, attentive, and friendly, which really stood out. It was early so there weren't a lot of people inside which helped cause I was on a lunch break but nice inside and cozy. The food, however, was a bit hit or miss. I ordered the salmon sandwich and a Caesar salad. The salad was okay; they put a generous amount of dressing, which I actually liked, but the croutons were burnt, so it threw off the overall flavor. The salmon sandwich was the biggest disappointment it had barely any aioli, wasn't seasoned at all, and ended up tasting like nothing. It looked great, but the flavor just didn't match the presentation. Overall, I'd come back for the service, but I'd probably try something else on the menu next time.

I'm from Indianapolis, and my boyfriend found this spot because he was craving lobster mac n' cheese. We dined here for Valentine's Day, we loved the atmosphere and thought the decorations were adorable. For such a relaxed vibe, the food was top notch. Even though the food was great, it wouldn't have been a five star review without our server. Dana is legitimately the best server I've ever had in my life. Tentative without being annoying, knowledgeable without trying too hard to sell, and just all around so kind and vibrant. She is the best!

The food is meh Here. I had the Reuben egg rolls. They were flavorless and barely had any filling. But they were fried well - crispy. The wings are very spicy. The Caesar salad was good. The service was not attentive. Our waitress kept disappearing and we waited for drink refills and to bring our check. The ambiance is typical bar - kinda dark. But they do have windows that completely open to the outside sidewalk.

    Meatballs

Great ambience here! Everyone seemes relaxed, as if they come here often. I came during happy hour and got a cocktail and some meatballs. The drink was good but the meatballs were just okay, they could've used some more salt. I also took the Nashville chicken sandwich to go and it was just okay well, it had no particular flavor but the portion was huge. It had a really thick chicken breast and the fries were good.

This was my first time going & wanted to go back right after I left. The atmosphere was fun & chill. They have seating by the windows that are open to the outside which is so cool. Our waitress was nice & helpful. She took time to explain the menu & help with what to get. & the best part of all ... the food was delicious! I got the Fig & Arugula pizza with a side of fries - I highly recommend! Yummmm.

    Reuben Egg Rolls

I went here for Burger Monday and the March madness finals($10 Gourmet Burgers). My friend and I shared reuben egg rolls which were fresh, crispy and came with a sweet sauce on the side. The Burger I got was the, Fat Goat Burger. Usually I like to put some sort of condiment on my burgers but I felt like it wasn't needed with this. It's a thicker burger and I thought getting it medium was a good cook. Since I got the reuben egg roll sharable, I opted for the side salad. The side salad was an extra up charge, but I thought it was worth it. The fries are always reliable so you can't go wrong with those. This is one of my go to Burger places in Columbus. If you want an elevated bar with a great atmosphere, good food and a premium beer selection this is your spot. Great service as well, it was very fast and they were all super nice.

I love the Brussels ! Huge serving and delicious!

Do they have a dress code?

    No. It's a casual bar/eatery

    Is it Kid friendly?

I'd say not particularly . More of a place for happy hour or to go on a date or dinner and get drinks. Im not sure about the day time though.

I have good flavor and good sauce for brussels sprouts aren't as soft as these ones. This was great. Lamb chops: 6.5/10 - very sweet small lamb chops! Cooked well and had good flavor I just wasn't personally blown away. The Clover Club: 9/10 - knew exactly what I wanted. Had Monkey 47 which is the BEST gin for this drink. Wasn't the best one I've had but pretty close for it not being on the menu. Filet: 7/10 - a little Gamey but it was cooked well as it should be. Didnt have anything unique about it just was don't like a filet should be done. The carrot was cooked to perfection which brought her review up. The fried potato was also amazing best part of the whole dish, especially with whatever spread they put on it. The fillet was not the highlight the carrot and the potato were. Sea Bass: 1/10 - genuinely did not taste good very gamey very fishy took two bites didn't eat it. The soup it came in was a little sour not a good flavor would not recommend. Hamachi Crudo: 3/10 - we are sushi snobs so take this with a grain of salt. It could totally be something that you love, but I hate when somebody brings out a piece of Nigiri or sashimi and it's warm. This dish has potential the flavors around it were very fresh but the hamachi was room temperature when it should be ice cold and the flavors felt like an after thought. Menu: 4/10 - nothing to write home about when it comes to the options. A very corporate get what you expect type restaurant. They aren't doing anything revolutionary here Atmosphere: 7/10 - definitely a nice spot. It's very clean bathrooms are intimate and also very clean again. Nothing revolutionary here the demographic when we went was very old and corporate. Price: 5/10 - $340 plus idk... I feel like this was worth $180-$220 personally for the price I never complain about price anywhere I go out to eat, especially fine dining, but this place was overcharging for what they're actually giving for sure. Overall: 6.5/10 - I would recommend this place to someone who doesn't really care about Food that much and is wowed by like an STK or a more chain like "fancy restaurant" I was hoping to get more of a small boutique very intentional experience at this restaurant just based on the outside by the field, but it definitely feels like they've cut a few corners when it comes to building a really unique food experience I would love to come back and give it another try because maybe I just came at an off time. Majority of people will give us an eight out of 10 rating. We started with a Hot Apple Cider, topped with maple-infused whipped cream and cinnamon, along with a couple of hot coffees. The cider was warm, comforting, and full of cozy fall flavors. Unfortunately, the self-serve coffee station wasn't kept stocked, and after waiting quite a while for a refill, we eventually gave up. For breakfast, we ordered two Mushroom Frittatas, a Fresh Buttermilk Biscuit, and a side of Housemade Breakfast Sausage. The Mushroom Frittata featured three hearth-baked eggs with roasted mushrooms, sweet onions, and Gruyère cheese, served alongside breakfast potatoes and a peppery arugula salad. It was flavorful, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. Although I informed the staff about my peanut allergy, I was surprised to find the crispy breakfast potatoes on my plate, which left me uncertain whether the allergy request had been fully communicated to the kitchen. The Fresh Buttermilk Biscuit, served with strawberry preserves, was one of the highlights of the meal. It was flaky, buttery, and wonderfully moist, pairing perfectly with the sweet preserves. The Housemade Breakfast Sausage consisted of two peppery pork patties that were juicy and well-seasoned, making a great accompaniment to the rest of the meal. Overall, we enjoyed a delicious and filling breakfast with fresh, high-quality ingredients. While I wish the coffee station had been monitored more closely and that greater care had been taken regarding my food allergy, the Mushroom Frittata and fresh biscuit alone make Northstar Café worth returning to.
