I went here for Burger Monday and the March madness finals($10 Gourmet Burgers). My friend and I shared reuben egg rolls which were fresh, crispy and came with a sweet sauce on the side. The Burger I got was the, Fat Goat Burger. Usually I like to put some sort of condiment on my burgers but I felt like it wasn't needed with this. It's a thicker burger and I thought getting it medium was a good cook. Since I got the reuben egg roll sharable, I opted for the side salad. The side salad was an extra up charge, but I thought it was worth it. The fries are always reliable so you can't go wrong with those. This is one of my go to Burger places in Columbus. If you want an elevated bar with a great atmosphere, good food and a premium beer selection this is your spot. Great service as well, it was very fast and they were all super nice. read more

Mom/Son belated Mother's Day date at the Columbus Museum of Art, then lunch following at Arch City. First time here. We started with the Lobster Mac & Cheese Shareable. To die for! My son got the Market Burger with Truffle Fries. I got the Amish Chicken Sandwich. But the name is deceiving. I'm from Indianapolis, and my boyfriend found this spot because he was craving lobster mac n' cheese. We dined here for Valentine's Day, we loved the atmosphere and thought the decorations were adorable. For such a relaxed vibe, the food was top notch. Even though the food was great, it wouldn't have been a five star review without our server. Dana is legitimately the best server I've ever had in my life. Arch City is a Short North staple! It has such an inviting atmosphere and it's perfect for every occasion. Whenever someone from out of town visits, this is one of the stops you need to take them to! I stopped by Arch City Tavern and the service was great quick, attentive, and friendly, which really stood out. It was early so there weren't a lot of people inside which helped cause I was on a lunch break but nice inside and cozy. The food, however, was a bit hit or miss. I ordered the salmon sandwich and a Caesar salad. The salad was okay; they put a generous amount of dressing, which I actually liked, but the croutons were burnt, so it threw off the overall flavor. The salmon sandwich was the biggest disappointment it had barely any aioli, wasn't seasoned at all, and ended up tasting like nothing. It looked great, but the flavor just didn't match the presentation. Overall, I'd come back for the service, but I'd probably try something else on the menu next time. read more

Great ambience here! Everyone seemes relaxed, as if they come here often. I came during happy hour and got a cocktail and some meatballs. The drink was good but the meatballs were just okay, they could've used some more salt. Loaded with ham and turkey, it came on herb focaccia bread and had avocado; it was packed with flavor. They have a full bar with specialty drinks and plenty of beer options. We came to Arch City after the buckeye game and have been wanting to try it forever! We started with the brat corn dogs. These were interesting. The breading was pretty greasy which at times took over and we couldn't taste the meat. We then ordered wings in the Smokey chipotle sauce. I thought they were fine, a little tiny, but the sauce was different. The burger was definitely the star of the show. Cooked perfectly medium rare and the meat tasted very quality. Very varied selection of beers here-- almost worth it for that alone. Come during happy hour (before 6pm most days, at least as of this writing) and the appetizers are very well priced, Brussels sprouts done loaded, pulled pork sliders and chips, and a bratwurst were all good-- the last in particular might be a tougher sell at full price. Arch City Tavern was packed when we stopped in, and I was honestly amazed at how well the service held up. There were only two waitresses working the entire floor (Sierra was our server and was great!), but they were absolute pros--taking orders, running the bar, refilling drinks, and even bussing tables without ever letting service slip. Really impressive to watch. The kitchen seemed a little understaffed too, because the food took longer than ideal to come out. But when it finally arrived... wow, it was worth the wait. I had one of the best burgers I've had in a long time--honey glazed bacon, avocado, fresh cilantro, a chile aioli with just the right kick, and a perfectly cooked patty. Absolute winner. Even the chips on the side surprised me. I usually need a dip or salsa to enjoy chips, but these had so much flavor on their own that I didn't miss anything. Overall, Arch City Tavern is a solid spot with fantastic food and service that shines even under pressure. I'd definitely come back, especially for that burger. read more

I came here for a get-together with around 10 friends. We made a reservation ahead of time and everyone was very nice. The atmosphere is cozy and I never felt overcrowded. Tables are a bit high for her. We got her plain fries and a veggie plate. She sampled some new things, didn't like the olives unsurprisingly. Did love the feta. And, loved the brat corndogs. They are good brats, with really just a very thin batter, deep fried. Served in coarse mustard. Very good. I tried the fries- thin and crispy and a huge portion. Also some of the veggie tray: fresh and tasty. I expected the brat corndogs to be a gimmick, and the rest to be typical bar food. I was wrong. It was all quite good, and reasonably priced because of happy hour. And with great service, good music, a cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back- lots of interesting things on the menu. I was very surprised and impressed with this place because most of the "taverns" that I've been to were mediocre. Inside was clean and the service was very good. They have a pretty large drink menu so hopefully everyone can find at least one drink that they would like. If I had to describe the menu, it would be elevated brewery food. I ordered lamb sliders and their burger with truffle fries. The lamb was extremely tender and the flavors were great. The burger was delicious. The truffle fries were probably the best truffle fries I've had, being able to taste each grain of seasoning. The prices were fair for what they offered. I'm glad I found it because it is now on my radar to return. read more

Did I find a new favorite burger? This was an amazing experience. I heard a lot about their fries and was craving some good fries, so my wife and I went here. She got the French onion soup with the truffle fries, and I got the Arch City burger. She loved her onion soup, and I absolutely loved the burger. Cooked perfectly to medium rare. Those fries were some of the best I ever had. The green sauce to dip it in was delicious. It felt like there was garlic in it, but ask for extra of that. It's delicious. read more

Went to Arch City because I was craving truffle fries. Ordered the Arch City burger with truffle fries, the Southwest egg rolls and the bratwurst corn dog appetizers. The appetizers came out with the food, the fries were extremely overcooked, the egg rolls were so mediocre I only took a single bite. Something about the flavor was off, I couldn't put my finger on it. The bratwurst corn dogs were also absolutely not it. The meat was extremely thick and the breading paper thin. I ordered my burger medium well but it was prepared medium. The entire bottom bun was soaked in blood. The server was nice but didn't read the room well, as she didn't even notice I asked for the check with a table full of food still. No to go box needed, probably will never go back. read more

The ribeye tacos were one of three weekend specials for October 4-6, 2024. They were overflowing with red meat and bursting with flavor! I might recommend flour tortillas over corn, but that's not an option. Only one corn tortilla deteriorated and fell apart, but I managed without much mess. The avocado and lime were excellent compliments to the ribeye. Arch City Tavern has one of my favorite beers on tap - Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro!
