I know you're wondering why we got fish, but I wanted something light! It didn't taste fishy and was yummy for a random joint in Cortez. The jala bites were a personal favorite, as they seemed homemade. It wasn't a classic jalapeno-cream cheese situation, but instead involved chopped jalapenos, nacho cheese, and it was all fried with a crispy outer shell. I'd come back for those alone! I had the fried chicken, white meat, and mashed potatoes with gravy. It was OK but I did not like the gravy and there was way too much of it. I did get a salad and that was pretty good.
