We walked in and were immediately greeted by one of the bartenders and told to sit wherever we liked. We found a nice booth off to the side of the bar area. Our server Patrick stopped by the booth and pointed us to the food menu in the chalkboard. We also had another server but I didn't catch her name. They were both very friendly and attentive. I ordered the special for the day. A green chili Rueben & fries. Wow, this sandwich was so delicious! What a creative combination of flavors. Even the slaw in the Rueben included the green chilis. The fries were hot and crispy. My husband ordered the spicy BBQ pulled pork tacos. He said the tacos were amazing and the flavors were off the charts. They were topped with a slaw and pickles. The side of "tortilla chips" had a dusting of a very flavorful spice. Not sure what it was but very tasty. Looking over the menu, this restaurant has some very creative dishes. Its a small sandwhich shop. Which sometimes can be good. Not in the case. Service portion: The waitress worked the bar also. She wasn't friendly. Didn't greet us. We had to greet her. She seemed as if she hated her job. We placed our order and waited. No contact with her after order. The salad was brought with meal not before as it should have been. Common practice. Didn't ask for drink refills. We actually didn't see her until she took our dirty plates away at the end. I think this was because she had a friend there at the bar with a laptop she was giving her attention to on company time and forget about us or didn't care. When the bill was brought to us, we were asked to write all our credit card info down on a piece of paper and they'd charge it later. Ya, hard pass. So she could fill in her desired tip in, nope. Paid with cash. Food portion: They give you a lot of food. The salad was huge and 100% on par. It was perfect. As for the hamburgers, very bland. I'd say the patty was frozen. Bacon had no taste nor anything else. French fries were perfect. No fountain drinks. So, you are charged per soda bottle. Parking portion: No handicap parking that we saw. Parking is tough in front, so you are left parking down aways. Almost a block away. If walking is an issue, pick another place. In the end, you decide if this is where your hard-earned money should be spent. read more

I could never support a business run by an abusive loud and aggressive man, who happens to be the owner.
