I have been to this restaurant 5 times in the last two weeks for a Frappe and have been told they do not have them right now due to cleaning the machine. Consistently the worst restraunt/food place on walnut for years now. They get the order correct maybe 30% of the time, and I've gotten a literally cold uncooked burger before, spoke to the manager and they wanted to assure me all patties are cooked. Fries are never right 100% of the time. The abysmall service, increase in prices, asking 50 cents for more than 1 sauce has assured I'm quite done with eating here. read more

A brief stop here for wifi and so I bought a Cheeseburger off the (no longer a) Dollar Menu and a bottle of water. I was able to find a clean enough table (two others needed trash removed) and there was a power outlet. The store was busy for 11:15 am and continued to do a lot of business through the lunch rush before I was done with my work and headed out. Food is always the same when you go to a chain. The service, however, is always a surprise. This location just can't seem to get it right. Asked for bacon egg cheese, got sausage egg no cheese. They ask if you want sauce with nuggets, you tell them what you want...then no sauce in the bag. It's the little things that add up, but they just never seem to care. Went there this morning and ordered 2 bec bagel combos. I got home to see I had gotten 2 sausage egg and cheese bagels and only one hash brown. I wish I could say this is a one time occurrence, but it seems to happen at this store all the time. And the corporation wonders why people are staying home more. It's prices AND stuff like this. Avoid this location if you can, plenty of fast food around them to pick from. Chick fil A and Burger King seem to get it right. Spend your money yet there instead. read more

This place is a joke! I went with my two grandkids for dinner when I was visiting. I did a mobile order, took it home, and the entire order was wrong. The happy meals literally had a bun with a dried out patty on it and nothing else!! I decided to go back and sat and sat in the drive up line. It never moved. The girl working the speaker spoke very little English and didn't understand me. Very frustrating! I finally gave up, microwaved the now cold food with a slice of cheese added. Apparently this store isn't 24 hours anymore even tho google says it is and the front door says it is 24 hours. I'm here at 444am and they said they are closed and not 24 hours. Everytime I come here there's an issue. They told me they couldn't serve lunch all day even tho they had signs up saying you could get some items all day. Just crazy. There needs to be a 24 hour restaurant on this exit that isn't Waffle House. read more

Not enough room here to review this resturant. There are other options on the street and other McDonalds not far away. It is usually always busy but they wont have to worry about me coming back. Everyone has an off day and fast food is always a crap shoot. But it's a culture issue at this location and they feel like they can treat people poorly and obviously they can get away with it. Considering all the low reviews, I must've caught this Mickey D's on a good day. I stopped in en route to a north GA hiking trip and got an egg mcmuffin and a restroom break. Located next to 75, this McDonald's looked like it had recently undergone renovation, since it looked very clean both inside and outside. There's a fairly good sized kids play area inside, but separated from the main dining area. Service for me was fast for a Saturday morning, as in no wait in line and back to my car in under 5 minutes. The only issue was the restroom. One of their two stalls was out of order, their towel dispenser was broken, and one of their sinks was constantly running water. Outside of that, this wasn't a bad pit stop for me. read more

This is one of the worst McDonald's I've been to. Tonight's visit just reinforced this opinion. I went through the drive thru. As soon as I pull up to order, an annoying recorded female voice plays, 'Welcome to McDonald's, would you like to try one of our... iced... mochas tonight? Can I take your order?' So I place my order, Quarter Pounder Value Meal, no onions, with a Coke. A muffled male voice came over the intercom, couldn't understand a word he said. I asked him to repeat what he said, and he repeated '$4.56, pull around to the first window' in a sarcastic tone. I pull around and pay, and pull to the next window. When the guy hands me my food and drink, I notice he's on his cell phone, not a word to me. Anyway, I get home. There's a Quarter Pounder box with a grill ticket stating NO ONIONS. Absolutely the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Truthfully, I don't hold McDonald's locations to high standards, but this store is a joke. I've lived down the street from it for a year and a half and have visited numerous times, but I've recently given up on it entirely. The staff is extremely rude, my orders are almost never right, and the fries are never fresh. I once caught the cook dipping cooked fries back into the grease because he didn't want to make a fresh batch. On another note, I've started an experiment over the last few months of trying to order ice cream products. It's borderline amusing, but every time I've asked for an ice cream product, over the last six months, they've told me the machine was down. If that were honestly the case, seems to me that someone should invest in a new machine. Every time I've ever kept an eye on the time, the typical drive through order takes a minimum of ten minutes. I stopped here for a late lunch while en route to Atlanta. This was my first stop here. This McDonald's appeared to be in line with other McDonald's. I ordered a 10-piece nugget meal. The nuggets were great, my drink was fine, but the fries were a bit lacking. Warm and salty, but I believe they were on the old side, as they were noticeably soggy (minus 1 star). The person taking the order was not exactly friendly, but not rude either. Customer service could've been more personable but was not bad enough to deduct stars on the review. I'd consider stopping at this McDonald's again if I'm ever hungry in the Dalton area. read more

Had the worse experience there ever, I even through my entire bad of food in the trash. The woman taking my order could not answer whether they sell fruit punch there and had me sitting at the intercom for quite a while. McDonald's is what it is. But this one is awful. We drove through for breakfast, and they forgot several things in our order. I went in and couldn't believe the scene. An older couple had ordered A Big Breakfast and some pancakes. They were given their order with one spoon. When they asked about forks they were told the place was out of forks and knives. This is the worst McDonald's in dalton. If you go past 11:30pm they probably can't take your order because "their entire system is down." Yet when you pull off you see two cars maybe even more in the drive thru. On the nights that they do take your order they most likely have nothing that you want. Went there around 2am after a 13 hour shift from work. The boy working drive thru gave me my total but didn't repeat my order. I ordered a Dr Pepper no ice and a burger with no pickles no onion. Got to the window, there was ice in it. I told him and he said "you didn't say no ice." I said "yes i did." He said "look, I can promise you that you didn't say no ice. I'm not stupid." Then I got my burger... It was covered with extra pickle and onion. I had to give it to my roommate because I'm allergic to onion. I didn't want to go inside because of he was going to blow up on me for no ice, he would have been pissed over screwing my sandwich up. read more

This was probably the worst fast food experience I've ever encountered. I pull through the drive-thru, and I order a sausage, egg, and cheese mcgriddle. I also ordered a iced caramel macchiato, to which I had to repeat myself 4 times that I wanted it ICED. The woman kept asking "hot or cold" and I would say iced, because that's exactly what it is. She was not cooperating, so i finally had to say cold. I then pull up to the window, and was told i had to pull up and wait for my food, and I probably waited for 10 minutes for it. I finally got my food, and I checked to see if it was correct. It ended up being a sausage mcmuffin. So I then had to go and park and walk inside, which I was not dressed for, and tell them that I asked for a mcgriddle and not a mcmuffin. They were very rude and they even took the mcmuffin from me. Like what are they going to do with that? Shouldn't I be able to keep it since i've already had such trouble? After another 10 minutes of waiting, I finally got my mcgriddle and trusted that it was correct. I get home and open it up, and I find out that it has NO EGG OR CHEESE. I'm so frustrated and will not be coming here anymore, and this is typically my regular mcdonald's. read more

I couldn't believe a low rating for McD could be true on Yelp but it is! I got an Egg White McMuffin and found no egg white! I returned it where they told me the thin layer of material indistinguishable from the cheese was in fact egg white. They made me a new one despite their assertion. Strangely the new one had more egg white on it. Too many choices on this street to eat here. Go elsewhere. read more
