This McDonald's sits inside of the Pilot Travel Center in Dalton, just off I-75, is your standard McDonald's location. On my recent stop at Pilot, I opted to grab a breakfast burrito, sweet tea and hash brown. I ordered via the kiosk and had no issues with the order or process. It was out of receipt paper, so I had to ask what my number was once they started calling them out. Food was put in the window fairly quickly, along with my cup. The burritos were a bit haphazardly wrapped causing some of the filling to fall out easily. And that tea was SWEET, like hurt your teeth sweet! Service was okay. Not particularly friendly but not unpleasant either. They were moving quick, so not much interaction. Overall, convenient and decent McDonald's for when that craving hits. Would have no issues swinging through on a future trip. read more

First of all, you need to have the person run in the drive-through know how to run the drive-through and know how to take orders and not have to repeat yourself through three long exhausting orders to get it's still not right it's still not right I mean, what does it take? These kids which are not kids they're well in their 30s. Don't even know how to count damn change. It's freaking sad out here, but that is the worst McDonald's ever. Ok, I'm just a regular working man. Nothing special or exceptional about me at all. However I work extremely hard for the little bit of money i make every two weeks. McDonald's is not fine dining but I think they should still have basic standards as to customer service, that includes prepping food cooking food cleaning behind the counter where the employees work and cleaning infront of the counter where the customers order and eat their products. So I go to the kiosk place my order but before I can pay a promt comes up telling me to grab a numbered triangle put the number in the kiosk and then continue with payment. Ok so I take a seat pull out my tablet and start going through my after hours usual business. A guy comes out with my food and an empty cup. WTF! If you're going to bring the customer their food you might as well bring them their freaking drink as well. so I had to put up my tablet put on my jacket and walk to the other side of the restaurant to get my drink then double back to the table (by the way I didn't mention that when I first walked into McDonald's I noticed all the freaking tables were grimmy with food particles slightly spilled drinks and general trash, so I grabbed some napkins put some water on them and wiped the bejesus out of three of the tables!) Ok where was I ok opened my sandwich box and started eating but sadly when I went for the fries i noticed they were all covered with black n brown particles that only come from dirty grease ( that means a restaurant is supposed to clean the oil and the fryer at least three times a day more if necessary but this store hasn't cleaned the oil in at least two or three days.) so sadly I didn't eat any fries that I freaking paid for with my freaking hard earned every two weeks paycheck. Could this be any longer of a review??? I'm going to wrap it up now after one more coment because I could review the paticular restaurant right out of business if I keep going and could go for hours on the f---ery I experienced here! The worst ever!!! Stopped here 2:00 am and as soon as I got to drive thru they closed it...so parked and then I saw a bus had come in...walk in and full of ppl...after waiting some time to place my order for a Sausage Egg & Cheese McMuffin and a Bacon Egg & Cheese McMuffin...get home and there's no egg on either sandwich...seems maybe they ran out of eggs bcoz of so many ppl and didn't say anything? Or just didn't know how to make the sandwich or follow direction? Either way service was bad...order incorrect and food lousy...had to give 1 star as negative stars not available. Heads up! WHEN YOU PUT LITTLE girls in charge you get little girl playing house service first danger was the hash brown fryer..look at all McDonald's fryer. Yousee smoke thats how hot they are...this none not only that i observed she take the hash brown out without any alarm or timer...you can see when she lift them off the fryer no smoke from fryer or hadh brown when you dump them then she gives me the food and just walk away without asking if i need ketchup or anything...when i get to my food yep its cold....this is a fair warning unless you like cholesterol all they are doing is warming up the hash brown not cooking it well...remember these are the 15 dollar an hr children....they have no idea they are committing heart attack across the country read more

Randomly closes after midnight. I thought 24hrs MEANT 24 HRS!!!! Might be open might not be open, you take your chances after midnight.

Literally in the drive through at 1 am right now and there's one car at the window with atleast a 2-3 car distance from the car at the speaker and lined up about 5 cars and they won't even come to the speaker and take anyone's order until the car at the window is gone . Order was right and everything but then again how hard is a sausage and cheese McMuffin?! Looks like one of the newer McDonald's but absolutely filthy. Trash all over the floor in the dining room as well as the kitchen. Health inspector would fail this place. Came in for lunch got a bacon ranch salad with coffee. The tomatoes on the salad were bad and the coffee was cold, picked the tomatoes out of the salad and told them the coffee was cold and they gave me a fresh cup of coffee. This location had had issues before covid but it has just become garbage as of late. Sat in line for 30 minutes behind two cars. I went in to Subway was in and out in 5 minutes. This McDonald's should just shut down if they don't have people that can work or if the people that are working don't want to actually work. We often order breakfast items later in the day and biscuits are always dried out. If they are not going to keep biscuits fresh made, they shouldn't serve them at all. Bojangles makes them every 20 minutes. read more

DONT STOP HERE ON A ROAD TRIP. NO MATTER WHAT. JUST GO TO THE NEXT ONE. I gave this 1 star because Yelp wouldn't let me give it 0 stars. Every single table was dirty. No joke, every single table. The employees totally ignored this, and ignored us when we asked them to clean one for us. We tried to get napkins to do it ourselves, but there were less than a dozen total napkins left (we were ignored again when we asked for more). The soda was flat, the service was slow, the employees were rude, there's flies everywhere, and the place is just dirty. They put up "Wet Floor" signs to make you think that they mopped, but the floors look like they haven't been mopped since Bush was in office. George Bush Senior.
