On the way to Corolla, NC, we stopped in for road fuel. The staff was friendly enough but the ppl in the back were sure messing up orders. I'd taken advantage of the BOGO Bacon McDouble in the app with an order of fries. I rarely check my food because I'm usually ordering something for son and not myself. But something told me to check my order. Both of my supposed McDouble's had one pattie on them. Literally just threw my sandwich together. When I went back up, the lady who I gave my bag back to was nice about it and told them that they need to pay attention to what they were making. Thankfully this time around, my sandwiches were a little more put together and had both patties. On the way back to Florida, I decided to stop in again to see if I got better luck. This time around my Bacon McDouble's came out correct the first time. The male manager that was there was very nice and even made sure my fries had salt on them. Insanely slow every single time. They pad thier service numbers by moving cars to parking spaces instead of fix the broken systems. Orders are always wrong and management seems either unconcerned or disengaged. read more

As excited as I was to see a fast food restaurant after not seeing a large town for a few hours, this McDonald's could use some work. They had a paper towel machine in the restroom but it was out. I used the kiosk to order as it goes smoother. That went ok but then to get my drink, one machine was out of ice and two of the three iced teas were empty too. This place needs to pay better attention to the details and keeping things replenished. Service was friendly and there was plenty of parking on both sides and in front. read more

I went to lunch here for the first time on Friday, as I work 5 minutes away and have a 30 minute lunch break. I was told to park in spot 2 when I came to the window. I said "of course." I understand that drive through windows get backed up sometimes. I waited around 10 minutes in the spot before a woman came to my car. She said "you had the double bacon quarter pounder?" It was the wrong order. Without apologizing or saying anything, she returned to the restaurant. I waited another 10 minutes, now concerned about my ability to return to work on time - let alone eat lunch. She returned to my car, "so what was your order?" I told her my order, and showed my receipt. Another 5 minutes went by. Unfortunately I had to return to work. I was never served any food. I walked inside the restaurant, asked for assistance, and was blatantly ignored. I contacted customer service. It has now been a week with no response from anyone willing to do anything other than say " sorry." I've disputed the charge with my credit card company, and will not return to this location. read more

I went here for the first time on my lunch break. A treat on Friday. it's 5 minutes away from my work, and I have a 30 minute lunch. i got to the window after ordering, and they asked me to park. No worries. They proceeded to send the wrong order out twice. I waited in the parking lot for twenty minutes before I finally had to go back to work with no lunch for the day. A week after asking McDonalds corporate for a refund, I have had no contact from anyone associated with the Dunn NC location. I just wanted a treat for lunch man. read more

Normally this location is about a 3-4 star McDonald's. My experience today dropped it to a 2 star no question. I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers extra pickles ketchup and onion. When I parked nearby to eat I saw that both burgers and buns were basically covered in ketchup. I order this all the time and have never received a little bit of burger with my ketchup.. obviously I went back and asked for it to be remade, and for new fries since I hadn't touched them either. What got back was sloppy slapped together burgers and each burger had a tiny drop of ketchup on them. So I got both extremes and not what I ordered. Also the fries were still completely drenched in oil which soaked everything in oil my receipt the napkins and the bag. At which point I was too irritated to deal with it and left. If you mess up someone food and then park them and make them wait 7-8mins to get it back it needs to be right. Hopefully when I go back the manager will be able to resolve it and make the food right for me. read more

This location is falsely advertising that they are "open" till 11pm-12am. They don't even offer drive-thru past 10pm. They have some convenient sign on their drive throughs claiming that they are "short staffed and only open till 10pm". That sign has been up for over a year. What kind of McDonald's is only open till 10pm? Even the 1726 W Cumberland St Dunn location is open past that. Even in a rural area, this is unacceptable. Either extend your hours past 10pm to at least 11-12am or stop false advertising. read more

On our drive back to Baltimore from Myrtle Beach, we stopped at McDonalds for coffee and to use the restrooms at 7:30 AM. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We ordered a senior coffee which was hot and delicious. We were surprised that both the ladies and men's rooms left a lot to be desired; clearly, the men's room had not been cleaned in a while. read more

i lost my son in here, ive never felt so cold and alone when i couldnt find him.. i lost him for whatit felt like days, out of emberassment i didnt even ask for help, worst 45 minutes of my life... but i found him in the bathoom.. silly me! the food was very tasty! read more

I went through drive thru, and my Iced Mocha came out promptly, but it took a while for my cheeseburger no pickle to come out, no apologies for the delay on something pretty simple. Who knows, maybe they had to remake it. read more

So, tonight I'm ordering from the Dunn store, by Food Lion. I walk in and proceed/attempt to proceed in placing my order. "SIR, STEP BACK ACROSS THE LINE", the manager said. Ooookay--so I comply with the rather abrupt order. Upon finishing my brief order--which took *WAY* longer to key in than it should've-- I await further instructions as to when I can approach the COVID containment chief, and am instructed to slide my card (expected) at which point manager lurches backward like Frankenstein from a burning torch, and pins himself against the wall. Really, I mean, SERIOUSLY? I wait *patiently* for 4 sweet teas to be poured-- took the better part of 5 minutes for this simple assignment, with no one else inside, and a mediocre total of 4 vehicles in line(visibly,granted- could've been more, not wrapped around the restaurant or remotely close). While observing the beverage preparation process, I look on in stunned amazement as Dustin Hoffman from Outbreak proceeds to prep my sweet teas with *NO GLOVES ON*-- pawing my 4 cups & more strikingly MY TEA LIDS (which come in contact with the tea, ergo, any of his germs can now freely enter *MY BODY*). HEY PAL, MAYBE I DON'T WANT *YOUR* CORONAVIRUS, DID THAT EVER OCCUR TO YOU, EINSTEIN?) To top this off, he has no problem approaching me with my 4-pack tea tray and *handing* me the ticket. So...let me get this straight. My approaching you is a health hazard, but YOU approaching me is *NOT? There are some very rude workers at McDonald's today. Especially at the drive they window. They got my order wrong. Had to go inside. Rude rude rude!!!!!!! Place is dirty as well. I am ao disappointed that McDonald's at the West side of town is going to stop giving Senior discounts at the drive through as of March 1st, 2919. It's a shame that you can not trust your employees to give a Senior a discount. My husband has been retired 2 years and has gone to McDonalds to get our breakfast most everyday. I guess we will take our business elsewhere as of March 1st. I think when you become a Senior you should always get a discount, no questions asked. You have earned it! The cashier at the window has to call for a Manager to come to the back window to put her fingerprint in the cash register. You should have not employed her or him if you can not trust them to give a Senior discount. read more

I ordered two deluxe quarter pounders at 5pm as meals. They are advertised as being freshly prepared. The burgers were so cold tHat they didn't melt the cheese. The fries were barely lukewarm. If we hadn't gotten on the highway I would have gone back to get a refund and tell them to shove their cold food where the sun don't shine. Go somewhere else, this location is poorly managed. read more
