I just ordered a mobile order. There are 2 cars in the parking lot, I am the only car in the drive thru, and they still made me move up to the red rail. One of the kids running the drive thru just told his coworker an expletive and when I got to the second window it sounded more like a teen party than a restaurant. I guess the new owners know what they are doing ... actually they are wrecking our McDonalds. This was the gem of Northern NM. Not anymore. McDonald's took away the handicapped parking and only left two. That's not enough, and we use to go every Sunday morning for breakfast, but not anymore. In the evenings there use to be wrap around lines to where I didn't go there, but they are swatting flies because they are empty. Gosh I wish I could have the old management back. Morning of May 11, 2018 Ordering at the self-serve kiosk was quick. The order arrived, quickly without a beverage cup. That was remedied in a hurry. The Big Breakfast was typical and warm. What turned the rating down was a coffee server, pushing a mobile cart containing small coffee pots and holding condiments/creamers and such was pouring coffee refills for guest. (nice). The unusual part came when she placed a new trash bag into a waste receptacle and returned to serving coffee, without washing hands or changing her one latex glove on her left arm having a soft cast/brace. I am wondering if proper sanitation policy/procedure was followed. read more

I've been here a handful of times since moving back to Española. A couple of times they've messed up my breakfast order, either making a sandwich wrong or not giving me an item. They've promptly fixed it though. One complaint about New Mexico locations and not this one specifically, is that when you add green chile to a burger the chile is always so much colder than the rest of the sandwich. read more

This was one of the worst Mcdonald's places that I have ever been to. It was early in the morning, and I was on my way up to Taos. I was hungry, so I stopped at this Mcdonald's for breakfast. I had never had a Mcgriddle before, so I got that. At first, it tasted fine, but once I hit the mountains, things got much worse. I got extreme diarrhea, and I was nauseous for half of the day. Just the worst! Ordered from the app at 10:15am and won't let us order breakfast so we ordered lunch and arrived at 10:50. No place to park so parked in an in-numbered spot and checked in. 11:02 someone comes out to say they just started lunch so we'd have to wait 5-10 minutes. I called at 11:15 and told them we were still waiting. They said would be out soon. We told a guy who was bringing food out who proceeded to scold us about not parking in a marked spot (even though there were none available) I called at 11:20 and asked for a manager who said it was still coming out. The girl who came to the car was great and apologetic but the manager was completely useless and made for terrible experience. Some nonsense about it taking 18 minutes to make the meat hot enough. No apologies. Once we finally got our food, there were no drinks. The nice girl came back out with tea but didn't know if the large latte was supposed to be hot or iced. I told her"hot" and she ran back in. I ended up with a plain coffee, barely warm fries and McNuggets but the sandwich was hot. Next time ... Wendy's it is! read more

My experience was terrible. Starting with the manager. (3pm) We order 3 meals and only received 2. We got the 3 beverages but lacked one burger and fries. When we told the woman who handed us the bag she got very huffy. Told us it was in there and that she gave us everything. When we told her to look in the bag she accused of lying and trying to scam her. It was thee WORST experience we've EVER had at ANY fast food restaurant in our lives. And to make matters worse she was the manger! What a disgusting and poor image she gave the Espanola NM McDonalds. Absolutely horrid. Too bad I Have to give a star. You get the food you ordered as expected but this place is always busy. I always have to wait for my order and workers are not as friendly and quick as they should be. Most of their employees are youngsters and do not have a concept of customers needs. Very SLOW, not so friendly. I do not recommend this place unless they fix these issues. read more
