Food here is okay, today the breakfast biscuits were very good. However, ever since the announcement of the extinction of the penny, all of a sudden, this McDonald's never has change. I pay cash everywhere I go and have yet to experience this problem anywhere but McDonald's. Twice, McDonald's has shorted me change due to allegedly not having any pennies. To this date, they owe me $0.06 cents. If they are doing this to every patron that pays cash, they are profiting by the end of each day. Maybe they should change their prices to accommodate the loss of pennies and quit short-changing their customers. Here is a follow-up... If I could rate less than one star, I would. The food here is the worst and the customer service matches. I have recieved fries that weren't even cooked and food that was ice cold just to be harassed by management like it was my fault it was cooked that way. I placed a mobile order for a large drink and with that you basically got a free fries. I asked at the speaker if they were able to modify a mobile order once it's placed they responded "no sorry" this is the first issue. The second is I asked for my fries to be cooked to order and they said they can't do that. Both of these things CAN be done. I worked at mcdonald's and it just takes an extra 20 seconds to go back on the mobile order and change it but it just more work and something they are too lazy to do. Also cook to order means they make your food fresh when you order. Who wants soggy fries that have been sitting in the bottom for hours. This place screams lazy because they just don't want to take the extra 2 minutes to do something asked while making more than minimum wage. read more

Went for lunch for me, my dad and grandchildren. Ordered 3 meal deals all with double cheese burgers. Should have been $15.00 charged $18.00. When we got back to the pool, there were no chicken nuggets just the burgers, fries and sauce for the nuggets. I drove back, while the others ate, and the clerk said because I said meal deals with double cheese burgers instead of meal deals with McDoubles, the order was different. I told him I felt tricked and if McD's kept jerking people around this way they will go somewhere else. He said "Calm down lady we got plenty of customers." I ask to speak to the manager. He shut the window and after a wait. A blond headed lady opened the door, shoved out the bag with nuggets, said without looking a me, said snottily "have a nice day" and shut the window. Yes I got my food (cold fries from the get go) after 2 trips and feeling like I was the problem. But Burger King is just across the street and that's where I am going since McD's has plenty of customers and doesn't appreciate my business. read more

Rude customer service. The guy taking my money at the window mumbled something and I didn't hear him but instead of repeating he took my card then I guess something funky happened with the payment? I honestly don't even know. But regardless he then says to me "let me make myself very clear" I tuned him out after that point because I was so shocked by being talked to like that? I don't expect customer services to greet me with a smile or anything. It's a hard job! But while I don't expect a welcoming presence, I also don't expect to be talked to and condescended to like a child??? I was genuinely so flabbergasted by the whole thing! And then my sprite cups were only filled 3/4ths of the way. And that's literally all I ordered. 2 large sprites. Very simple, around 2:20PM I ordered small Fruit Punch & medium fries. Needed a little something to get me to 9PM. The fries were undercooked and cold. Didn't have time or I would have gotten back in line to complain. Pitched the fries. How do you mess up something so simple. There was a time when this place was well managed. It's McDonald's, what's to say. Same McDonald's food as every other McDonalds. Service here is acceptable and the store is clean. Lines can get frustratingly long from time to time. Last time I left because there was unacceptably long lines inside and out. I occasionally get a craving for McDonalds and almost always, I am sorry that I go there. They better step it up or they'll go the way of Sears, Kmart, and other institutions we grew up patronizing as kids. read more

I'm very aware that restaurants are doing the best they can during these unprecedented times. To be clear, the food here is consistent and there is no issue with food quality. However it really doesn't qualify as a "fast" food option, and hasn't for some time. The owners here keep the lobby closed most hours of the day (drive thru only). And as a result, drive-thru wait times often exceed 20 min, almost any point in the day. There have been more mistakes made lately than ever. Which as a fellow human being, I understand and don't expect perfection, ever. Unfortunately due to the fact that they only operate via drive-thru, there is no way to walk up to a counter, point out that something has been forgotten, and ask for a correction. The only option is to get back in a 20 minute+ drive thru, and that's not feasible or fair. Having a closed lobby has really reduced the quality of service and made asking for help/corrections/etc impossible. So I can't really recommend this place any more. read more

worst costumer service ever. last night i tried to order an ice cream sundae and the worker said their ice cream machine didn't work. without thinking, i then ordered a milkshake. i forgot milkshakes are made with ice cream and the worker decided to reply back with attitude saying, "i'm not going to repeat myself we don't have ice cream," and mocked us. the fact that she was impatient and rude manifests that this mcdonald's does not have the right training or right people in order to run a restaurant. i expect for the worker's higher ups to take care of this matter, including updating their customer service training and hiring those who are patient enough to work in the food business. read more

I saved up my monies. I was going to splurge on a 20-piece McNuggets. This was no dollar menu visit. Lo and behold it's dark at 8:10. The Golden Arches were cast in shadow and a dusting of snow. Apparently that dusting had done this McDonalds in. Whoever plows the lot did their job. It was blacktop for miles. I then proceeded to call the McDonalds up the road. They were confused when I asked if they were open. So I'm going to get my nugs but no thanks to the McDonalds of Fallston. read more

​ 9:23pm I pulled into the drive-thru (no other car before mine) and placed my simple order of a 10 piece chicken nugget and a large fries (nothing too complicated that automation can't soon handle). 9:24pm Pulling up to the second window to pay, the window-girl on the headset who took my order quickly takes my card - she doesn't greet me or speak to me because she's too busy talking on the headset to her coworkers, because she's laughing and continuing to go back and forth for the next several minutes; I've never seen a voice-box order taken that would have (1) been that long or (2) that funny). She hands the card back to me and closes the window. (I don't care - kids will be kids, I just want to get in and get out) 9:25pm The window-girl's manager comes into sight and talks with her briefly, as the window-girl continues talking on the headset back and forth and laughing. Both leave from sight of the window. 9:32pm I have not seen a single person for 8 minutes since I paid and there is no indication that anyone is alive. Did a gas leak occur in the back where they hurried to investigate and have since passed out? Did the Rapture come and take these sluggish, unfriendly McDonald's workers to the Kingdom Come? Becoming a little frustrated and curious because I recognize neither possibility is that likely, I pull ahead into a parking space, get out, and decide to see what must be so funny inside that is making my "fast food" take forever. (Note: I am a reasonable person - if I would have been informed that they're having to make the fries up now, and it takes a little longer, I understand: it's 9:25pm and not the middle of lunch). Upon entering I see a bag just placed on the drive-thru counter window (which is soon handed to me). I begin asking the kid who's at the counter what took so long, and he explained the latter (they had to make the food up) - "Okay - So why doesn't somebody communicate this to me, instead of making jokes on the headset and hiding in the back?!". The lovely window-girl overhears my question and keeps smirking over at me. She is looking at me every other second and smiling, almost like some middle-schooler who can't keep from looking her crush, but hesitates to hold eye contact. I understand the context is far from that - even though my looks may conjure such looks from others with more character than this indignant degenerate, I feel uneasy with her menacing smirks at my disgust. As she continues to smirk with that less-than-becoming smile of hers over my frustration of her poor customer service, I ask the man at the counter to speak to the manager - because apparently what I am saying appears to be a joke to the staff there. The manager comes to the counter and I explain what and what is not my complaint - not that it takes 8+ minutes to get my food, but that (1) there is absolutely no communication that "you're food is going to take a few minutes longer" and that (2) it is not only acceptable, but apparently a condoned behavior to talk on the headsets among coworkers, cracking jokes, and then to laugh at a customer when they are expressing the poor experience they received (with the customer even pointing to the window-girl as she is laughing in-front of the manager and myself at this point, and the manager observing it and just standing there). It's a feeling akin to having been just robbed in-front of an officer and the officer appears indifferent to the injustice committed in his presence. "I will talk to her", is all that the manager replies with. Calmly I ask, "Is that it?" "Yes." I've never been in such a situation where "I will talk to her" is all the manager in any other establishment would say. No apology? No saving company-face? No explanation? No refund? Even validation that she understand how I feel. NOTHING. *It is likely that she, the manager, was also guilty with whatever shenanigans that window-girl partook in in the back for the last 8 minutes of absence, and to condemn the window-girl in-front of me would also indict herself to the window-girl, putting the manager in between a rock and a hard place to say anything* Needless to say, I don't understand what was so funny about my frustration to the window-girl. Is she just inconsiderate? Is this what she gets a kick off of since she has little else to live for working at McD and soon will be replaced by automation and she is truly left without options... so YOLO? Or is it something more menacing - like conspiring with her coworkers to tamper with my food as any customer fears - and this is why she is laughing at my complaints because she thinks she will have the last laugh? read more

This newer location is always clean, the staff is very friendly, and the food fresh. I get coffee every morning and LOVE Marina, who works the drive thru. She always gets my coffee right, and she's super fast and friendly. Keep up the good work! read more
