stay away from the MCD. i went through the drive through and was asked to pull into the waiting are. I set for almost 10 minutes when I finely called the MCD to remind them that I was still waitin. I went to mcds on John Fitch highway and the the girl at the window was giving me the wrong order, I said to her, that's not my order. She says, yes it is check your recipe. Don't bother! You're better off driving to any one of the local mid level chain restaurants like 99, Applebees, etc... For a few bucks more you'll get a better quality burger and fries, and you won't have to be treated like a pariah by the rudest people you'll ever encounter in a "service" environment. You'll also get your food in about half the time it takes at this pathetic excuse for a "fast food" spot. It's astonishing that any business, no matter how low expectations are can stay open operating like this. Do yourself a favor and drive 20-30 minutes or more to a McDonald's in another zip code. I am standing here waiting to order while the young man at the register is talking to some girls in Spanish. I place my order he reads it back wrong because he is not paying attention to what I just said. The workers are all yelling in Spanish to one another. He finally gets the Oder and walks over to talk to a worker puddly. I notice his jeans hanging down revealing his buttocks in blue underpants. He drops that are open backed as well as another with open toe and heel shoes. I wonder do they speak English in here? The floor is littered with fries, there is a bag on the floor and the said worker kicks it under the food prep area. We were not given cups for our drinks . While standing here I notice how dirty the food area is as well as messy dining room. Then I remember why I don't eat this crappy food. I just use this restaurant as an example of every mcdonalds in fitchburg, leominster area, and every single mcdonalds ive been to lately. Service is the worst its ever been in years, employees not caring, or not knowing how to deal with the public. I blame managment, both in the stores and corporate level. Almost zero training, machines not being maintained, such as the infamous ice cream machines that always are " not working". Mcdonalds is known nation wide for broken shake or ice cream machines. read more

I have been to over a hundred McDonald's locations in three countries and 26 US states. I have been to this particular location at least six times. It is by far the worst McDonald's I have been to. My order has been incorrect more often than correct. If you say "no pickles" the reaction seems to usually be "fuck you, you're getting extra, Mr. Picky!" If I could give less than 1 star, I would. The people that work here are nice, all be it slow getting orders out. The atmosphere is actually really nice and trendy and clean. I felt sick after eating here almost immediately. If I had to guess i would say some sort of soap made contact with the food. Everyone in our group was immediately sick. I picked up a side job as a doordasher and got an order to pickup at this location. Waited OVER an hour to get the order. Went through the drive through which alone took thirty minutes. After getting to the window I was told to pull around and they would bring the food to my car. I waited another thirty minutes until I decided to go in the building. Worst McDonald's in Fitchburg... as a part time DoorDasher I'm choosing to never go back for deliveries or personally. They are constantly messing up orders with missing items... Today I sat in the drive threw line for 20 min waiting for someone to take our order (not unusual for this location) while they only asked the first lane 3 different times for his order after they already ordered then proceeded to take 3 more cars after him... In the past year they have made changes that seem to slow service down. It takes 15-20 minuets to get your food and don't always announce your number. As for the table service that was recently introduced they don't even do that anymore. Often it seems like no one knows what they are doing. read more

Okay so basically This Mcdonalds has been extremely hit or miss historically any time that I've been there. I've had to wait for virtually half an hour inside the establishment for my food, (waiting like 10 minutes to have my order taken because everyone is In the back) and then like twenty minutes for food to come out finally to my table with my friend. The Drive thru line gets extremely busy as well which is to be expected during times where there'd usually be a lot of business so that Is fine generally. Overall though with an average-below average drive thru experience and typically bad inside experience (Some time it's okay) I cannot rate this establishment higher than two stars. read more

If I could give this review a zero star I would, My experience here was beyond disappointing especially below the standard of the McDonalds franchise. I and some of "the boys" decided late one night that we would like to go out. We rode our bikes and longboard and various forms of transportation over to the only open place around, the McDonalds, only 1.5 miles away. We understand that a group of young kids riding our boards and bikes can seem threatening to some people but, through this whole experience, we were very polite and respectful. we arrived at this particular establishment at around I'd say, 12:30 am, but I thought that this shouldn't be a problem since both the drive-through and the cafe was open 24/7, though to all of our dismay the cafe doors were locked! There we cars in the drive-through and people working inside. The cafe was clean and the lights were on. We were confused since the sign on the door said that this McDonalds was supposed to be open at all times! we were visually upset standing outside this McDonalds but at no point did we ever get physical or hostile towards the people working there. we stood outside the door trying to get this ladies attention to ask her why the door was locked or if we could please come in and order our food. She saw us multiple times trying to get her attention and continued to ignore us for around 15 minutes. At this point we realized how lazy and inconsiderate the night shift was, in fact, I would go so far as to say they were doo-doo pants. And I don't use that type of profanity often. we stood outside waiting in 15-degree weather for another hour waiting for something to happen or a sign of hope to come upon us, and then suddenly we found our chance, a door dash driver! He tried to walk inside to receive his order but again, the door was locked. He too was visibly mad and sat in his car calling the McDonalds trying to get his order, after another 20 minutes of waiting the lady started to walk outside to give the man the order he was waiting for. We took the chance of her walking outside to ask her why we could come in. She didn't respond with an answer and simply said that "the cafe is closed at this time" and no other response despite me asking again why that is. We were extremely surprised by her short temper rudeness towards a group of teenagers simply trying to supply this business at which she worked. At this point, we were giving up hope but we gave it one last shot... we wanted to walk through the drive-through in order to receive our food. And after around a few hours and pleasant conversations or exchange of words with the other people who shared the same feeling about this McDonalds and their slow and terrible-quality service. we stood in a static line of tired late-night cars for around 45 minutes when the first car started to move due to the order of the first gentleman in line finally being taken. Eventually, after around another 15 minutes of waiting and three orders ahead of us, it was finally our turn to order. we recite the things we wanted, the things that had been floating in hour heads for hours now. I say "I would please like a 20 piece-" And immediately got cut off by the same lady that refused to let us inside. at this point were extremely unhappy with the service of this establishment. But once again we had one finally the idea and there were people behind us that seemed friendly enough to help us out so we walk over to there car, they were two female college students, and we said: "would it be possible for you to help purchase our food for us the lady one let us order since we don't have a car." They, like us, were shocked at this and kindly took our money and went up to try to order for us. But as soon as they went up to the window and the first thing that was said was again the same ignorant lady that claimed that "This McDonalds is closed at this time." Even though cars before were ordering fine and cars after continued to order as well. Thye kindly gave us our money back and they went on there way, and we took an L and went on ours not able to find any other food places close enough to get back home in time. Now as I told this story I would now like to give supporting factual information that makes this experience even more upsetting. According to www.foodandwine.com, this can be said about the McDonalds Drive-through Program. "McDonald's Wants You to Bike Through the Drive Thru. Most McDonald's food might not qualify as healthy, but at least their new drive thru program could. In their McBike program the fast food giant is actually encouraging customers to ride their bikes to pick up their food." So not only does McDonalds support people riding bikes and other things through the Drive-thru they even have there own program to encourage this action. The whole scene and night took over 2 hours of our time in the freezing cold weather just to result in no food. read more

This time they were "waiting on meat" so I was asked to pull forward to wait for this and while sitting here I see maybe 8 cars being told the same thing and missing out on they meal. I came in to eat today and saw a two for five deal on the board flashing through the advertisements. I tried to choose that from the electronica menus and the total came out to 11.77. When I asked for assistance, the girl behind the counter stated that deal was over and a different promotion was now running. I asked for the advertised price and she went to find a manager. The manager let me know that the promotion was over and she could not change the price. I asked if she was a manager she said yes and I stated that she should be able to change it since it was advertised. She stated that her boss was not there so she was not able to change it. I work in this area and frequently dine out for lunch or supper. I came to this McDonalds today because I do enjoy the chicken nuggets. Unfortunately, most times I go without them and choose another restaurant because this one is terrible.Every time I come in there is an issue. Sometimes the food is cold, I order in because they forget my sauces, the advertised prices are incorrect, etc. When I tried to fill out the feedback form on McDonald's.com it kept giving me an error to select my state...which I did several times.
