This is the first year the new owners have it and they REALLY changed the layout of the store. It looks much more open, modern, and trendy. My main issues come from knowing how the store was before, what is missing now. Diet guers tea is a staple of ours when we're here. They have been out all week. They serve Heislers ice cream (literally the best ice cream around). I'm so grateful they didn't choose another ice cream, but its disappointing when you go to order and they are out of 5 of the flavors. We also buy a locust lake shirt or hoodie every year, but the amount to pick from are slim. Most of us will not be getting one this year because they don't have the sizes we need. This is a really nice store and I'm hopeful when the new owners get a season under their belt they will be able to keep things in stock. When we ask when they are getting more guers/ice cream/shirts in the answer is probably tomorrow but its been a week. Also there used to be picnic benches outside the back of the store. I'd love for those to return as going over to the pavilion or down to the lake to try and get the bench is near impossible when someone in your group has a mobility issue.
