Cracker Barrel remains consistently delicious with their breakfast meals! Their servers are always pleasant and attentive our server was Denae she was excellent! I had the country sampler which was 2 eggs over med. a slice of country ham a sausage patty & a slice of bacon served with hash brown casserole and all the fixins! The fixins included 2. Biscuits sausage gravy and grits and some hot spiced apples great breakfast at a great price! My wife has her usuals Pecan Pancakes and well done bacon! You have to search for this Cracker Barrel if you're traveling I-81 through Schuylkill County it's off the St.Clair & Frackville exits!

Chain restaurants are so popular because when you are traveling with the family, sometimes you want to eat at a familiar place. Cracker Barrel is one of those places. This location is just like any other Cracker Barrel location, was very clean, and the food was great. The thing to point out at this particular location was service. Our waitress went above and beyond to give that extra enjoyment for the kids, whether it was the extra chocolate straws for their milk or a little extra helping of food with their meals. It was a great experience away from home.

the first time i visited this location i ordered the cheesecake pancakes and i loved them! ive ordered them in the past for pick up and have never had a problem with anything. today i ordered two of the cheesecake pancakes and when i got home i seen that they only gave us these almost empty containers of whip and strawberries for TWO orders! im disappointed. i had been craving these for so long! i will definitely go to a different location if i ever consider going to a cracker barrel again. also, dont order the hot chocolate. i received watered down milk.

One of the best breakfast options in the Pottsville area. 20 minute drive, but well worth it! Never had to wait for a seat, plenty of parking, service is good, the price is right, and the breakfasts are quite tasty! The country store isn't really for me, but there are always people in there browsing. On a nice day you can take your coffee outside and sit in one of their rocking chairs on the covered deck. You can even buy one of these rocking chairs here! The only gripe I have is how overwhelming the menu is. Several pages just for breakfast! I've found it easier to just tell the server what I want and let them pick which breakfast I should order. Note: if your server has 4 stars, she is TOP notch and passed all the CB tests! The more stars you get, the more of a discount you get on your food too. Not a bad deal for employees.

Julie T provided the best service. 3 stars on her apron does not do her 5 star service justice! Always efficient, helpful, and friendly, Julie epitomizes outstanding customer service. Three of us ate lunch here. Two of us enjoyed catfish, one of us ordering the dinner meal with 2 huge fried fish fillets and the other having the one fish piece. Side choices are abundant. We highly recommend the cinnamon-sugar spiced fried apples and the perfectly crisp hashbrowns. The third diner in our party enjoyed a robust, homemade chicken pot pie. Naturally, we loved the cornbread and biscuits that are a highlight of Cracker Barrel. The decor throughout the dining room is homey. Social distancing is followed. The country store is fun and full of bargains. Sit on a comfy chair outside on the front porch. Too bad we didn't have room for dessert, as their choices tantalize us. Parking is plentiful with well-marked handicapped spaces. We love this Cracker Barrel up a hill in scenic anthracite coal country!

Food was very good. But why is it so damn cold in there? Everyone in there was eating with their coats on. Very uncomfortable.

PRO: Only 1 star for Black Diamond Bar and Restaurant given for featuring Eckert Dutch Country wines! PRO: Generously Comped with no pushback. CONS: Waitstaff hustled. Their use of advertised "Fresh Beef" could not cover up the over well done brown sawdusty hockey puck served. We were told because waitstaff did not ask or write down customers burger preference, so the well done hockey puck was delivered. It was inedible! Disappointed, our table was less than 10 ft from the kitchen. Back of the house timing was way off! Next door two top tables had similiar order placed at the same time. Over 30 minutes later, the other two top had been served, eaten, and boxed their leftovers up To Go. Our entrees had not come. Luckily, we had ordered Peirogies. Their Peirogies are advertised as homemade. We chose them sauteed with onions. What we were served was a soup bowl of melted butter with cooked onions and Peirogies. Melted butter was all your tasted. Please look into Back of the House retraining. Restaurant didn't look too slammed. Not sure. With over a 30 minute wait for inedible food, we suspect that our food ticket was lost. It wasn't until we asked about our order, that they then threw something together. Return doubtful.

Waitress, we don't have those here! Ice teas then. We start looking at the menu and the weekend specials. Bloody Mary is on the specials menu! When she comes back to bring our beverages and take our food order, we tell her, "you might want to cross the drink special off!" She's asks why, we tell her. She just shrugged. Didn't say let me check, I could be wrong. Nothing. We order. I want the Clams Casino. We are out. Are you sure? Yes. I order the fish and chips. One Reuben. Food comes. Fish looked liked frozen, deep fried tenders. Fries were hot. Coleslaw tasteless. So disappointing. Reuben was just an average deli sandwich, nothing special, nothing wrong. Mid. Waitress never came back to give us tea refills and we never got the lemon we asked for. Best part of this experience was the hot, crispy fries. The waitress, even though pleasant she wasn't on top of her game. We literally were her only table and it's not like she was running back and forth to the other side. The bar/pub side wasn't open yet. We will return to drink, all of the bartenders are good. It has a friendly, welcoming vibe in the evening. The restaurant and food. I'll pass.
