This McDonald's is in a gas station. The food tastes a bit off from other McDonald's. The fries here are the worst, after I eat them every time I get stomach aches. The fries tastes like they reuse old oil, they're stale sometimes, and no salt either. The McChicken also tastes similar to the fries just a bit better bc it's seasoned with black pepper. I've been here 3 times and there's still no improvement. I'll make the extra drive to another McDonald's bc I won't be coming back here. read more

We have frequented this location (Lavon Hwy, Garland) since they opened their doors. I have bought thousands of cups of coffee over the years. In the past 8-10 years, I have never seen anything prepared so inconsistently as this McDonalds' coffee. You never know if you will get what you ordered. Over the years I've constantly changed my amount of cream and sugar in hopes of them getting it right. If I order 5 cream and 5 sugar, it will taste the same as when I order it with 2 cream and 2 sugar. It's a rare day when I don't have to add some kind of sweetener to it. Employees punch the buttons so fast that you don't get the right amount of sugar. Cream is usually messed up too. This location is very good about cranking up a fresh pot of decaf at night when we come thru the drive thru. The other McD's nearby will turn you away. But the employees don't bother to let all of the coffee or the majority of the coffee drip thru before pouring your cup. Any coffee drinker will tell you that the beginning of the post is NASTY, no matter how much sugar or cream you add. We never mind it when we are asked to wait at the pickup area and that they will bring it to us. You call always tell when it's poured at the beginning. And it's always undrinkable. McD's: PLEASE TELL YOUR EMPLOYEES TO WAIT UNTIL THE POT IS ALMOST FINISHED DRIPPING. ITS REALLY IRRITATING TO GET HOME AND TASTE THAT NASTINESS! read more

Between receiving the wrong food MULTIPLE on occasions, have the food be COLD on multiple occasions, and interacting with slow / rude staff, I'm done with this location. This location used to be pretty good, grew up with this mcdonalds but over the last couple months this place has just fallen through the floor in quality, orders messed up 4 visits IN A ROW, waiting at the window to pay for over 5 minutes each time only to not even have my order correct, employees arguing when they finally do show up to the window, my food not even being warm when i finally do get it. I'm giving this McDonald's a 5 star review because the employees there were working their a$$e$ off. The kiosks were not user friendly and no receipt printed to confirm my order. I had to ask someone to help me even though they were clearly slammed helping the drive-thru. I looked up how much the CEO of McDonald's made last year and he made over $10 million in compensatory funds. Don't tell me you can't hire more employees or pay them a higher wage when the CEO is making $10mil above his regular salary of $5mil. Get this location some help pronto! read more

I would leave a 0 star if I could. I go to this location three or four times a week and the quality and service has been progressively getting worse. Constantly having to go back and have something fixed. Food is not always fresh nor fast. Employees working the drive through should be able to speak at least some English. This morning I ordered my usual sausage egg McMuffin meal. Guy at the window verifying orders spoke minimal English and was quiet. I am deaf in my left ear and with his unintelligible English he got it wrong. Usually they sweet my unsweet tea (sugar intolerant) or I can usually be o back and have them fix my order. I didn't have time this morning so I'm stuck having paid for my normal EGG McMuffin with sausage but gotten a COLD muffin with only sausage. I paid for my egg....I should have my egg. I have tried several times over the past year to call and let them know but they don't answer the phone and no option for voice mail. I waited 15 minutes in line to order. The car in front of us was just parked there at the second window and I could see that the customer and the worker weren't ordering food. They were laughing and talking and making hand motions. She finally drove off with a small bag of food. I finally drove up to the window and asked Ms. AMANDA if she had a big order and she couldn't even look at me in the eye to lie. Horrible customer service I went in and ordered 2 Sriracha Artisan Grilled sandwiches, one for me and my brother. I get home and open my sandwich while my brother already ate half of his. I open my sandwich and discovered there was bacon. There isn't supposed to be bacon on this sandwich. They goofed. I DRIVE back to mcdonalds and show them the sandwich. Asked for an iced caramel macchiato and they had put whipped cream on top. I told them that iced coffee does not come with whipped cream (unless you ask for it of course) and I kindly asked for a new one and they were SO rude about it!! They said that's how coffee is served and I told them I have NEVER been given iced coffee with whipped cream on top at mcds. I didn't order a frappe. By far the worst Mcdonalds! I had a manager yell at me and tell me to leave the store because I asked her what her name was. So ridiculous and their staff is highly disrespectful to the needs of their customers. This wasn't the first incident I've experienced at this location in the 2yrs I lived in the area. Scary, scary place!! Literally saw 2 drug deals while we were here and then there were 5/6 guys out front ( all in different cars) blocking most of the gas pumps "doing dent repair). They were smearing mud on people's dents and drilling holes in the hood of their car underneath and sticking a crowbar in it and beating the dents out. Then they will tell them to leave the mud over the dent for a couple days to let the polish cure. When in reality it was just covering the dent that was now worse than it was when the people got there. This place is SHADY and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. Made an app order- had to go inside after waiting 20 minutes. Then this manager who barely speaks English, tells me that they didn't get my order . They charged my card $43.67 . She wouldn't help me, just shrugged her shoulders . Would not give me the food even though I showed her the receipt- I could not find the 4 didgit code on the app. She was no help. Called CS and they said they can't help over the phone. I had to report fraudulent charges on my credit card and close the account. Not the first time I have had issues but never have had a manager be so blatantly belligerent. I will drive to Buckingham or Rowlett to avoid. No amount of fixing up the place can help the poor quality of CS and by a manager no less. read more
