In the surrounding area, Geneva McDonald's is most often the lowest performing McDonald's location in terms of food quality, dining room cleanliness, and service. Today they ran out of ice, handed me 32 ounces of completely flat, warm soda. I hand it back to the girl at window 2. "What are you waiting for?" (Was she kidding?) "I'm waiting for a refund for that soda." (Brings manager, who has no interest in smiling or apologizing). "You have to request a refund through the app. I can't refund you. I understand the restaurant is always busy but no other solution was offered. I opted to not take my receipt, so I can't even complain in the app. Just don't expect much from Geneva McDonald's. read more

Pretty ok McDonald's location. We stopped in here for some late dinner after attending a Yelp Elite event at Spotted Duck earlier in the evening. Most of the tables were all pretty dirty, but luckily we had our cleaning wipes, so we cleaned our table. Our food was pretty good for the standard McDonald's fare. The drink machines, however, were a mess. There was no ice in any of the machines, and all of the soda machines had the drinks coming out hot. Luckily this location puts their sweet tea out, so we all just had that instead of soda. Overall not the worst McDonald's I have been to, but far from the best. read more

Came to this McDonalds for a quick dinner. The tables were all pretty dirty, there was no ice in the machines, and the drinks were also warm. Me and my friends ended up getting ice from the back. Overall my actual meal was pretty good and the buffalo sauce is always a staple. read more

This location has recently been updated but could and should be cleaner. The whole ordering at the kiosk process is frustrating. Not sure why they couldn't just take our order at the counter since there was only two other people in there and they were already eating. During our visit. They had no ice for drinks and guess what ......they also had no toilet paper in the ladies room. Dining room needed to be swept and wiped down. Yuck. read more

I find myself here pretty often. More often than I'd like, but hey, it's quick and easy. The soft serve and small sundaes are great. What keeps me coming back is the Egg McMuffin- always a classic. The food is quick and hot and there are plenty of familiar faces at the drive through. Overall it is an operation that is well run and I appreciate the convenience. read more

DISGUSTING! Absolutely disgusting. Second time I got old stale chicken nuggets and french fries warmed up in the microwave. Your employees should be ashamed of themselves. The first time I ordered via door dash because I was at work and can't leave. The second time, my sister brought me food, so both times there was no way I could come back to return the nasty food or have my order remade. How would the employees like it if they went somewhere and got served just as poorly as I did. Sad. Need new employees. read more

Summary: It's a McDonald's. Price, Taste, Atmosphere: It's a standard McDonald's. Has a fairly large interior, same low prices, and same McDonald's food you'd expect anywhere. Overall: I'm a fan of McDonald's, and the one in Geneva doesn't disappoint. Sometimes at night the drive through wait is long. My guess is the student body and bar crowd head here. read more

I'm not a fan of poisoning myself with unhealthy crap but I must say that the customer service is great here. The fruit parfaits are healthier than what Starbucks offers and they offer milk instead of cream for coffee. I dig it! read more

Geneva MacDonalds. This used to be run very well but lately many things I purchased to be dried or hard or old or cold. Their coffees and drinks are fine but don't buy their cinnamon buns or their french fries I've tried several times and they're always dry hard or cold. Some of the staff is outstanding especially The morning staff but many are condescending bordering on rude especially if you ask them about the products. So sorry because I want so badly to see them do well. read more

I'm pleased to briefly write this review. I can honestly say I've never been "wow-ed" by McDonalds service before. Typically, the employees seem unhappy to be working there and are easily irritated by customers. This McDonalds breaks the cycle! We visit Geneva several times a year from Virginia and every time the service is EXCELLENT! All of the employees are so friendly and I'm not sure if maybe I'm just not used to country kindness but the people at that McDonalds are so great I felt compelled to write a review about the great service. Usually get through in a timely manner, order is rarely messed up. Friendly staff, one of the better McDonald's I've been to.

Every time I have gone through this drive through they screw up my order royally. One time I had to park the car and go back in.what they gave me was someone else's order entirely. Another time, no napkins, no straws. Today, I ordered a small coke. At the pickup window, they handed me the largest drink I have ever seen. I asked was it a small...and she said, no, that's a large. You wanted a small? Yes, and that's what I paid for I told her. She handed me another drink. I drove away..then at a stop light I inserted the straw, and it was a disgusting sweet tea. And for this they expect to get $15.00an hour? read more

My fries are usually cold and the staff tends to call it quits early and ignore you if you try to come through the drive thru in the last operating hour. Other than that, it has the issues that every other McDonalds has: perpetually broken ice cream machine and wrong McNugget sauce with your order. There's a woman who works the drive thru late at night when I'm on my way to work, who is always so friendly and makes my day every time I see her. The southwest salads are delicious, by the way (solid vegetarian option if you order without the chicken). read more
