We love the ice cream and the kids meals are great for my twin two year olds, which include their 1/2 kiddie ice cream. Only hassle at times is parking but there's not much you can do about it. And getting into your ordering area with my double stroller. Single mom so it's sometimes hard for me to bring an additional person with me to wait outside with them inside of struggling to fit the stroller in- again, this is probably a vary rare occurrence and not common. I have gone there now twice for work lunch. It's an ice cream shop but also serves burgers, pizza and other food items. I had the 1/2 pound burger and the macaroni salad. The burger was delicious but the macaroni salad was standard. I liked the burger because it seems like they make their own sauce or the combination was really good. This was your quintessential roadside dive. The wait was unbelievable, but given the time of year and events happening in town, it was to be expected. When you are really hungry though, the wait only seems longer. The tables/outdoor area were filthy and it wasn't particularly clean inside the establishment either. The girl bringing the food out seemed to be in a particularly foul mood. "Out of my way! Coming through!" sort of attitude. I understand it's busy but that's not a reason to be disrespectful to the people who just bought food from you. We ordered two burgers, a side of fries and two kiddie size ice creams. The burgers weren't anything special, but we devoured them because we were hungry when we arrived and famished by the time we ordered and got our food. The plate of fries was very large and since my wife is from Idaho, the fry sauce was a happy surprise. The ice cream size was unreal. We found out later we could have ordered half a kiddie size and probably would have, had we known. More ice cream is nothing to complain about, just know that you will get what a normal ice cream place would call a medium or large. I finally got to check this place out recently. The ice cream was good. Portion sizes were good for the price. The only thing I had a real problem with was the woman in front of me in line had a young boy with her and neither were wearing a mask, despite the sign on the door requiring a mask to go inside. I was surprised when they were called inside and served, so when it was my turn to be in there with her in a fairly confined space, I asked the girls why they served the women without the mask when clearly there was a sign on the door. The response was, "we don't really enforce that." So I won't be going back until this COVID thing is over, because when you're inside with someone else, you're barely at 6 feet and you have to walk past them and they past you increasing risk. After hearing a friend of mine boast about the proportions at this establishment, we decided to make our way over on their opening weekend (they open the first day of spring, and spring it is mo matter what the thermometer may say). It was a very chilly night so thankfully the line wasn't too long and we didn't have to stand outside for more than a few minutes. There is very limited standing room and a few seats for eating inside, most of the seating is out front under an awning. I was told to try the soft serve, and though I have my reservations about soft serve (aka half air half ice cream), I took the regulars' advice. Like I said the servings are huge so I went with a kiddie (more than enough to feed an adult) vanilla/chocolate twist in a cone, tipped in a dish with rainbow sprinkles and something they call peanut crunch. I went 1/2 and 1/2 with the toppings because I can't say no to rainbow sprinkles. The service was fast and friendly. The prices were more than fair. It's just a dingy little place and I wasn't able to try the food so can't weigh in on that. read more

The selection is ok, the servings are huge (actually too big) and price is extremely fair for what you get. Like everyone say's the portions are big and I really do like their ice cream. I always find the help friendly although somewhat under staffed. I couldn't give it more stars as they don't take credit cards (who doesn't take credit cards these days) but they do have a cash machine if you want to pay an exorbitant fee for the cash. Revision; Unfortunately, they changed their ice cream brand from Bern Dairy to Perry. Big difference! No longer that great ice cream taste, just sugary yuck!
