Okay, so you might think Mc. Donald's with 5 stars. This 5 star rating is not to say that they have fancy amazing food. The 5 star rating is because for a McDonald's this place delivered on food and service. We all expect to get blah food that may or may not be fresh or what we ordered ... let's be honest ... we've all been there before. We pulled up around 9pm and ordered. I used the app so scored a buy one get one nugget ... if you know me you know I love a deal! Anyways we ordered a few things so when we got to the window we were asked to pull around and they would bring the food out. I requested extra honey for my nuggets and fries. Have you tried this, if not you should, it's delicious! Anyways normally it's hard to squeeze two pack of honey out of them so I had to make sure I asked for extra. No more than 1 minute of having pulled around, our food was being delivered by a friendly lady. Our order was right the first time ... they gave us a sufficient amount of napkins ... they gave me extra honey as asked (like I said doesn't normally happen that way) and the food was hot and you can tell it was freshly cooked. With a pandemic underway and still delivering such good service quickly is unexpected but extremely appreciated and should be acknowledged! Thanks team McDonalds Okay .... I felt the need to update my review again just because I am always treated so well by the staff here and they always get my complicated special orders right. I am not sure what's with all the other negative reviews but this place has never let me down and that's saying a lot being that it's Micky D's. Just passing thru heading back to Tucson when we place our order at the drive-thru and told to move forward to the waiting area. 15 minutes later they come out and say they ran out of fries and they are unloading the delivery truck right now and it will be another 15 minutes. Ask for a refund and told we have to go into the store. While inside another worker comes out with my order but no fries for all three meals. I ask what about the fries? OMG.. normally, a little mess around dusky bother us but... traveling home we stopped at this location to grab a quick bite and for hubby who just had surgery to go to the bathroom. Review a McDonald's? I think I will! So really, this is just a place to stretch your legs and do your business while getting from Point A to Point B. We stopped by twice going to and from our fishing trip, mainly to tinkle and let the motion-sick people take a breather, but we did purchase items to avoid the stink eye I'm sure they love giving. Can we talk about the lack of toilet seat covers, nickel-and-dime on EVERYTHING, and the stinginess of napkins? Look, we get it, you hate it when people come in to pee-and-leave but some of us are actual patrons. They give one sauce per a 10-pack of chicken nuggets and it kills me. Need more napkins? I did a mobile order, for curbside delivery, and received my food. As my sister was eating her sandwich (Buttermilk chicken with cheese and bacon added) I noticed what appeared to be a piece of paper sticking out of her sandwich. She set the sandwich back in the holder and looked at it. There was a paper sticker INSIDE HER SANDWICH. The sticker apparently came from pre-made bacon, as it said Bacon Strips with a use by date of 6:02 pm on 9/25/20! This is disgusting and she didn't finish eating her sandwich since theres no telling where that sticker has been or what else its touched. Its bad enough for this to happen as it is, but with the pandemic you would think McDonalds would expect their employees to be even more careful with precautions on how the food is handled! Stopped in and grabbed a meal for two. After heading down the road we opened the bag and the small fries was more like a tiny teeny order of fries. The small paper bag was only filled 1/2 way. $2.99. I have been here a couple times as I have passed through Globe. Every time it is a 10 minute wait to get a drink and fries. The staff there seems confused as to who is supposed to do what. This last time I noticed only the people assembling the burgers were wearing gloves. The guy digging around in the fries was not. I mentioned it to another staff person and she basically ignored me. 2 minutes later she was the one digging around in the fries without gloves. Sorry but I work in health care and know about hand washing and using gloves. It wouldn't have been as bad if there were hand sanitizer used, but nope. I think when coming through Globe again I will be stopping at Taco Bell. read more

This McDonalds is right off the Highway so is a convenient stopping spot for lunch, but I feel it has been going downhill each time we stop. Today was the worst! I've never seen a McDonalds so dirty. There were spills all along the counter in front of the self serve drink machines. I looked for a table and actually walk entirely around the dining room looking for a clean table. Only a couple were in use and the rest had been used and not cleaned. There was even a spill on the floor in front of one of the tables. And, they forgot our fries. But if you are having a Big Mac Attack or its late night in this tiny town... This mcdonalds is pretty average. But their CocaCola mix is so "on pointe"! Perfect ! I also gotta give an extra star for being open 24 hours ! There is nothing else( beside the casino snack bar on San Carlos) open 24 hours in the entire Globe- Miami area . Sometimes you get the midnight munchies ! They have a McCafe.The drive thru has two order stations and moves about 100x faster than Jack in the Box nearby. Easy access &parking for RVs & boats . They should offer a playground as this is "a rest stop " for many travelers. They removed it when they remodeled and added seating. An outside shaded seating area and pet relief area would also be welcome additions at this rest stop . read more

There was a young toddler running around the lobby. He'd run over and get picked up by members of the McDonald's crew, who would then just start cooking again without washing their hands. The toddler was wearing a diaper and *nothing* else. Seemed a bit unsanitary. Staff was nice enough, but with a toddler running around in a diaper and tossing a ball between the lobby and kitchen, as well as running part way into the kitchen... yeah. No. Not only was this dangerous it was unsanitary (in my mind). Will not be stopping here again based on this. I'm surprised not a *single* person there thought this might be an issue. I haven't been to McDonalds in a while, but they charged me like I was at Sky Harbor airport! Insane. This place was set apart from a typical McDonald's. The restaurant inside was clean. Parking outside was ample. We used the kiosk at the entrance without issue. The food came out quick. The order was correct. One of the employees (shame on me for not getting her name) came out to check on us during our meal and was very nice. Basically, this place just hit all the checkboxes for getting it right, which isn't typical of Mickey D's. read more

This place is so popular because of location; not service, food or atmosphere. I guarantee if there was still a playground, I'd be giving it 4, maybe 5, stars. After a few hours in the car from Tucson on the way to the White Mountains, I stop here to give my toddler a snack, use the restroom, and let him stretch his legs before the several hours more of car trip yet. This McDonalds used to have a playground. It was old school, and you'd definitely burn your legs in the summer months on all the metal apparatus. However, when I was a kid and drove to White Mountains with my parents, and we'd stop at this very same McDonalds 30 years ago, I was THRILLED to get out and run/play/jump/scream for a blessed few minutes before I was cooped up in the car again. Then, in the last few years, this McDonalds went through a renovation. While the inside looks new(er), the bathrooms are still dodgy and pretty run down. And worst of all, during the renovation the playground was removed in favor of more seating. Which no one uses, because they mostly get food to go so they can get back on the road. McDonalds, please... I beg you to reconsider. Please put back a playground. I would order more food, so we could sit and relax while my son burned up some energy. I would stop at your place exclusively. I would overlook the dodgy bathrooms. I will personally come back and give you 5 stars. Just bring back the playground. In the meantime, in the absence of a good place for your kids to run and play, the Taco Bell right next door is nicer inside, has nicer and cleaner bathrooms, and food is good (for your standard Taco Bell). She was nothing but rude, her tone of voice was completely unpleasant. I had a couple questions regarding higher prices and she started talking over me asking what sauce I'd like and took it upon herself to name all of them, but found out this location is "privately owned" from the manager as the prices are higher.
