There were three of us. We got a burger and fries, green chili mix burrito, red chili mix burrito. There was nothing special about the burger it was a typical fast food burger. The fries looked like they could have been frozen fries. The two burritos seemed identical. Runny refried beans with a lot of cheese and a couple of pieces of meat but definitely not any green or red chili. It wasn't bad it just wasn't as good as we anticipated. The person that took my order was curt, bordering on rude, when I asked questions (since this was my first time here). She seemed impatient with my questions. Didn't get one smile or thank you. Wow, what has happened to this place? This was one of my favorites since I was a kid. I went yesterday and picked up a bunch of burros to take back to the Valley and they were just awful.... The bean and cheese burro was 95% liquid cheese that tasted like government cheese. The other 5% was a thin, liquid, bland bean soup. I did not count one whole piece of bean in any of the bean and cheese burros. The meat in the regular burro was bland, fatty, and almost inedible. The beans in this burro were the same as the beans in the bean and cheese. Finally, I asked for an extra container of hot sauce and would have been glad that I did since each container was not even half full, however, the hot sauce was also very bland and sweet. Almost tasted like a cafeteria marinara sauce. Sadly, I will have to make this my last visit to Burger House after all of these years. There are much better options in the area. read more

Stopped here for a quick, to go Breakfast Burrito. They did not disappoint. The bacon and egg burrito was all bacon and egg! The salsa was on the side, and it was a good flavor. I also ordered the Sausage and egg burrito too. As you can see in the picture, it was egg, sausage and the tortilla was delicious. Just the right amount of greasy. No potatoes or cheese, although I'm sure you could ask for that. It was busy, but we were in and out in under 5 minutes. You get napkins but you might want to ask for a few more as they did drip a little after adding the salsa. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, and clean bathrooms. Visited at 830am and they only serve breakfast. We were disappointed as we wanted tacos and enchiladas. It's very clean, but with temperature outside at 38 degrees, it was only 63 degrees inside. The ladies said the heater was broken, it was so cold in the restaurant. Was hoping that the warm food and hot sauce would warm us up. NOT!!!! The hot sauce was not hot at all. Talk about a diamond in the rough! Never thought I'd find a bomb place to eat like Burger House when rolling through Miami. Luckily I did my research beforehand and also had the help of a fellow Yelper's recommendation! I stopped here with some hiking friends after visiting Cibecue Falls and was totally starved. Fortunately, the portions here are as HUGE as they are delicious and affordable! I ordered the green chili burrito enchilada style (smothered in sauce) with a side of chips. The burrito was one of the best I've had in a good while, and certainly considering the location I considered it a great meal. The flavor of the chili went perfectly with the sauce and tender chicken! They also give plenty of sauce which was fun to dip my tortilla chips in once I had devoured the burrito hehe. I've also heard good things about the Burger Ole, which is smothered in chili. I will likely order that next time so I can compare it to the burrito and see how it holds up. Love this place! Worth taking a drive from Phoenix for sure. The restaurant is very plain inside. Walk up ordering at the counter. Some uncomfortable booths in the restaurant and some picnic tables under cover outside. The parking lot is a little tight for larger vehicles. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The best thing on the menu is the red mixed burro. You can spice up the burrito with the house salsa that they provide you with if you feel the need for more spice. They offer a complete menu of other items from fantastic breakfast burritos to a green chili burger that can't be beat. Taco's and enchiladas are great. I just wish they offered larger sizes in drinks. Their large soda isn't very large. They have provided me with extra salsa. They make a nice salad. You can order corn, flour, or mixed chips, with or without butter. Their chip order is plentiful and good. Be aware they close at 8:00 and are closed on Sunday. You can chill or freeze the burritos and heat them up later. Don't pass through Miami, AZ without trying this place out. I've stopped here a few times over the past year to grab something to eat while passing through town and it's always delicious with nice staff. Today the family and I ordered some food and waited over 30 mins for our number to be called.
