I'd give negative stars if I could. I went up to this location with 5 minutes to spare before they closed. The employees ONCE AGAIN were sitting outside ready to leave. The signs were all still on and the one girl had her drive thru headset on. After sitting there for a couple mins, they go inside and the girl comes across the speakers and says "we're closed" I said "no, ur open for 3 more minutes and u need to take my order" she replied "we're closed and u can leave my drive thru, fuckin bitch" I told her I would be contacting her manager tomorrow and she laughed. Idk where places find these disrespectful bitches to work in their restaurants but I'm over it. I would have never believed I would Yelp review a McDonalds but after the burger and fish sandwich hubby and I had this weekend I made a special note to do so. McDonalds and other McDonalds are structured to be exactly the same BUT the sandwiches we were served were hot and wonderful. Amazing McDonalds food. The service in the drive thru on Monday, January 24 @ 4:25 at the W. Grand River Ave, Grand Ledge, MI was one of the rudest I've experienced. I ordered for my daughter a sandwich with a special request of extra mayonnaise and a Large Pop with light ice for her. She handed me the drink and I took it and noticed it was not a large, it was a medium in a clear cup so it threw me beca the are usually in a solid cup. I tried to get the young girls attention many times while waiting for the sandwich but she was too busy talking to notice us waving and knocking on window. She came to bring the sandwich and I said to her that we had ordered a large pop with light ice. She rudely stuck her head back inside and yelled to the manager, "they said they ordered a large", but was not taking the wrong one I was handing to her. I sat it in the window and said to confirm that she knew we ordered it with large with light ice, and she said very rudely that she didn't ring up the order, and I replied to her I just wanted to confirm the drink. After she made another one She basically threw the drink out the window at us. The large drink had full ice and was 3/4 full! We sat There to check the sandwich that had a special request, and she came back to the window and said so cocky " Is there something else wrong"? And starred me down as I sat there in disbelief. I have had similar problems with managers when they have been short staffed. Especially when they don't get the order right or when the biscuts are as hard as a rock or burnt McMuffins! It shouldn't be acceptable that they treat their loyal customers that come there everyday for breakfast! You would think the owners that own this restaurant would want to know what their employees that represent them are doing! But on a good side, when we come in the morning and Shelly is working the drive thru and waits on us, she make sure we have what we ordered is right! Shelly is a veteran there and she rocks! Oh boy. I live 400 feet from this place. My daughter loves their hash browns. This is the only reason I go here. It's dirty and the employees are rude as hell in the drive through. Monday through Friday only. There are these two older ladies that run the drive through in the mornings. I don't know if they scowl at everyone but I do know that they must not think that much of me. I've never been scowled at so much in my life. Angry ladies. My wife said they're nice to her. So maybe it's just me. I do however like the Mobil station it's connected to. They're really nice there. Nasty, nasty food. In 2002 I went through the drive thru with my father. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers off the value menu and 2 drinks. At that time when the bag was handed to me the bottom was soaking wet with grease! Literally when we opened up the cheeseburgers they were so wet the buns were soaked and dripping wet! I immediately went inside, patiently waited in line for my turn and then in front of the other customers I opened the bags on the counter and laid out the cheeseburgers for everyone there to see. The cashier was upset because I refused a replacement, was loud and demanded a refund for their nasty cheeseburgers. At that point I VOWED never to eat there again. Well flash forward to yesterday and 13 years later. Despite my better judgement my girlfriend convinced me to go through the drive thru again and to get something. What did I get? I got the new buttermilk crispy chicken deluxe sandwich meal. She got a small fries, basic burger and small drink. We got our order and pulled over to one side of the parking lot to eat. As I opened the bag I noticed this rancid burnt smell coming out of the bag. I took the fries (lukewarm) off the top and I noticed that the grease from them was dripping out of the bottom from them! When you squeezed the fries they literally needed a napkin to keep the dripping off your lap! What a soggy, nasty mess! Then when I opened the deluxe buttermilk chicken sandwich... surprise, surprise, surprise! The patty was shoe leather dried and burnt a dark amber color. The sandwich had no mayonnaise on it and the lettuce had a brown and black food rot spot the size of a quarter on it. The bun itself looked like they tried to toast it somehow but it had the fine burnt black crust on it that we all used to scrape off our toast as a kid when we messed up! My gf at that point was so disgusted that we threw it back in the bag and she wanted me to go get a refund. At that point I just said why bother and tossed it out the window into the trash. Sickening, truly, truly sickening! Now its going to be at least another 13 years before either myself or my g/f, family, friends etc. etc. all eat at that location. So my advice to people reading this: Go to Speedway across the street and get a better sandwich for much cheaper! Don't waste your time on a McDonald's location that obviously takes no pride in it's work or that hires incompetent high school drop outs! read more

I live nearby this McDonalds and I will now and forever go out of my way to never go to this one again. I usually use drive thru's and this one always is messing up. cleaning the shake machine at 8pm when the whole reason i stopped was for a shake. Countless times they could not take my debt/credit card bcuz the machine is down so cash only.....who has cash anymore..... 9 out of 10 times they get my food orders wrong. I order a burger w/ no pickles and mustard. what do i get only pickles and mustard???? missing fries...... you name it they get it wrong. Just don't bother with this place. read more

February 23, 2016 approximately 5:30pm went to McDonald's at 10945 W Grand River Hwy Grand Ledge, MI 48837 using drive up window. Ordered a large milk shake and checked order. It was $2.99 plus tax for $3.17 total. Sign at drive up said $2.69 not the $2.99 as I pointed out. Told the voice the total was wrong as sign said $2.69 not $2.99. Told by voice the sign was wrong. I demanded the correct total using what was posted be charged to me. Told it could not be done. Demanded to speak with Manager (term used very lightly) and told to drive up to first window. Manager told me the sign was wrong and I would have to pay the $2.99. I refused stating the State of Michigan states what is posted is what will be paid. Manager again stated nothing could be done about it due to the computer or such issue. Told me if I did not like it I could take my business down the street. Manager told me I should leave. I initially refused as want my order and again told if you do not like it take your business down the street and leave as I was blocking the drive. Told manager I would call Corporate and basically told so"so what" and told to take my business down the street. I left. read more
