The food is great. However, the service depends on what day you go through the drive thru. Sometimes you might get a reciept at the first window, other times you'll get one on your bag and other times they forget and make you park to bring one to your car. I don't know about the ambiance inside, but I noticed a worker wearing a useless face mask at the cash register. I'm hoping they will let ICE agents inside. read more

My family and I went here around 8:30 tonight. When we began to order I noticed the manager never asked us was it for here or to go being that we sat down at the table. My bonus mom asked for an unsweetened tea and she said she would get it from the back. We waited for the food the food was not fresh. My bonus mom never got her unsweetened tea she had to go ask for it. Then they didn't put my sisters 10 pc. This McDonalds is located right near the intersection of US 40 & US 68 so it is a busy area. Most weekdays they stay busy but in the evenings the crowd dies down some. Sometimes the service can be a little slow in the daytime but not too bad for this type of restaurant. Every time I have eaten here it has looked clean and the bathrooms have been presentable. The food quality has been good on my visits and I will continue to ear here in the future. read more

Updated/newer restaurant. Not very busy so didn't have to wait in line long. Very clean except there were a couple tables that could have been wiped off. Great customer service! Friendly and got my order exactly how I ordered it. I was pleasantly surprised they have a program where they give away free coffee grounds. Excellent news for a garden enthusiast like myself! We were here for a quick snack yesterday. When we entered, it was pretty much deserted inside. Most of the customers were going through the drive thru. We placed our order of 2 cheeseburger, buttermilk crispy burger, nuggets and fries. The order was ready in minutes. After we got our order, there was a stream of customers who seemed to have just got off work and wanted a quick dinner. The staff worked quickly and efficiently to get the orders ready. The restaurant was well lit and clean and seemed to be managed well. Our food was tasty and standard McDonald's fare and we liked it. read more

Went through the drive through around 9:30 on a Friday night. Fast service at this time but the customer service was lacking. The employees sounded like they did not want to be there, told me they were out of a few things I wanted. When I came up to the window, I asked about a certain soda that I saw on their machine but didn't know they had, but was quickly shot down because she said they didn't have that either. The sandwich I ordered was literally cold. It was just a letdown the whole time with nothing that stands out. read more

Stood at register for 10 minutes-no greet, no help. Manager looked at me several times, and what appeared to be her boss was even there and did nothing. I ended up just walking out. I have got to brag on this McDonalds location. It is close to my work and it is by far the best drive through McDonald's I have ever been to. It is far superior to the one down the street by the movie theater. The employees are always pleasant at the box. They repeat my order back each time. At the payment window the employee is super polite and always offers a smile with my receipt. The most amazing thing about this McDonald's is the quickness and accuracy of my order. By the time I pay and get to the food window it is already hanging out of the window or the employee is handing it too me. I even get a special order and it is ready that fast. I have also never had an incorrect order. I gotta tell you, for someone with a short lunch break fast accurate fresh hot food is always a winner. This is a gem among off freeway fast foods. Grabbed breakfast at 6am before heading to a flight. The biscuit was so dry and tasted like day old bread. I had to throw it away.

MCRIB! I thought that probably said it all, but thought I should go into detail a little more. From my experiences here this McDonalds is one of the better locations. Super busy for lunch today with a line around the bldg. the double line drive thru was fast and employees were funny. Despite being busy, order was accurate and quick. The only reason for no 5 stars is that the food was just warm and not hot. Overall good experience. I will be back mcribbin Ronald soon! read more

I've been to this restaurant twice and the dining room has been closed the first time no signs were up stating that the dining room was closed we were just asked to leave after sitting down when we inquired as to why the dining room was closed they said the governor had ordered it closed. This is interesting because the other restaurants in the area dining rooms are open I asked two other times one time they said it was out of an abundance of caution and then blamed it on Roy Cooper again saying they couldn't open until the schools are open, not sure what's going on here but don't count on dining in if you go to this restaurant read more

Bad even for McDonalds. I've never ordered food and got to the first window to have to repeat my order again, then get to the pickup window have to repeat my order again after I already paid and get questioned as to whether I even paid after showing my receipt. Get my food thrown in my car at me without a word. I am so shocked that this all happened in front of two managers and nothing happened. They refused to give me my receipt back. I honestly need corporate to hear about this and get compensated for the rude unprofessional and quite frankly hostile service I received. read more

I ordered the quarter pounder hamburger value meal. I paid the full price for the order. After I received my order in the drive thru line I realized that my order was missing French fries. I requested the fries and I received the fries. I was in a rush to get home because it was getting late. I was on i40 when I sampled the fries. The fries were horrible. They were semi cold. In the future it would be nice for the night crew to tell customers, in advance, if the fries are hot. The customer should always be given a fresh hot order. The customer should be told If a fresh order of fries is going to require a wait. The customer should always have the option. If the existing fries on hand are cold or old they should not be passed to the customer. read more

I went to this location in March 2019. They forgot my Big Mac. I called and spoke to a nice Manager named Teae. She was very apologetic and I told her it would be 4 months before I am in that area again. She said no problem and gave me her cell number to assure me there wouldn't be a problem. I called her last week and she was off but told me to go and give her name. I arrived at the location and I requested hot fries and was given cold fries. The MANAGER had the cashier to replace my fries while she handed another customer his order and politely told him thank you and come back. She then handed me my bag and walked away. I called her back to me and told her the service was unacceptable and she should have told me thank you and apologize for my inconvenience. She claimed that she was going to tell me thank you. I asked her how and when since she was walking away from me. I immediately called customer service and made a complaint and requested that the district manager contact me with in a week. It has been 10 days now and I have yet to hear from anyone concerning the horrible service that I received. I guess the District Manager of that store is to busy to care about customer complaints. read more

Normally, I would have an alright experience, however, I recently ran into an issue with their second drive thru intercom system. I tried to order but no one acknowledged my existence. Since my time was already spent, I had just enough time left to leave and get to work. Well, unfortunately I could not leave right away due to the drive thru only allowing one vehicle to leave at a time. Alas, I was stuck watching the car in front of me get her meal as I felt my stomach rumble. Picking up food at the drive-through between 10:30PM and 1AM several times over the past 3 weeks. Over charged once. They kept the change once and shorted my change once. 3 Times the condiment I requested was not in the bag. Twice there were no napkins in the bag. 2 Stars because most of the time the service is reasonably fast and the quality of the food for this time of night is almost always okay to good. I've eaten at this McDonald's several times during the morning or day in the same few weeks with significanly better service and no real complaints. read more
