This is a very quaint coffee shop in High Point, very close to the Greensboro/Jamestown borders. The service is impeccable! They will explain everything they have and offer suggestions if asked. The coffee flavor is AMAZING!!! Thank you Tolbara is a great, quick coffee stop for us any day! We will definitely return.

I ordered their macchiato and it was perfection! Their coffee is delicious, and they work with local vendors. The place is beautiful and love the decor and the colors they have, it's very cozy and relaxing. Their attention was so good, very friendly, and attentive, I felt like I had known them for years.

Ran through today and treated myself to a fabulous extra large large cheddar scone! I'm gonna attempt to save half for my British husband but we will see how that goes! Great little spot and definitely a hidden treasure so we all need to spread the word. Super friendly service and reasonable prices!

Tolbara is a hidden gem! When you walk in, you're greeted kindly by the barista and hit with a wave of good smells. The barista is incredibly knowledgeable about coffee- the roasting process, etc. I really enjoyed talking with her about coffee! My drink was fantastic- I got an oatmilk latte with pistachio and madeleine cookie syrup. I will definitely be back! Check it out! They share a building with several other businesses, but you'll see their sign outside!

I've tried Tolbara several times and have been impressed with their coffee and service each visit. Today I enjoyed a pumpkin pie latte. The latte had the perfect consistency and tasted great. The location is centrally located, but the shop feels hidden away off the main road. The sitting area is quaint, but relaxing. You could easily spend a couple of hours reading a book or catching up on work.

Pistachio oat-milk latte and regular latte

Lovely, well lit decor with lots of natural light compliments of the large windows on all walls and doors! Location is easy to get to, has ample parking for our Saturday visit. Thanks to Vignette locally roasted coffee our drinks were delicious; however, the lattes were not hot even though I asked that my pistachio oat-milk latte be made extra hot. The barista nailed the level of sweetness going light on the flavored syrup. We are likely to return.

Excellent service and coffee! More in line with big city coffee shops like Blue Bottle compared to other shops in the area.

I've since moved to Greensboro, so it's been a while, but as soon as I walked through the door and caught a whiff of coffee and their delicious baked goods, I was reminded why this was my favorite coffee shop in HP. Debeen Espresso is a charming, female-owned local gem that combines the art of great coffee with delicious, in-house gluten free and vegan baked goods. From the moment you step inside, the inviting atmosphere and warm smiles from the baristas set the tone for a great experience. I had the pleasure of trying their banana walnut muffin, and let me just say--it was the moistest muffin I've ever tasted. The balance of banana, walnut, and spice was perfect, and it paired wonderfully with my almond milk latte. There's an array of gluten free and vegan muffin and cookie options as well as additional treats (overnight oats, carrots and hummus, etc) in the fridge. It's clear that Debeen Espresso takes pride in not just the quality of their coffee, but in everything they do. The service was fast and friendly and the shop itself is cozy, with plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out. We opted to sit on the outdoor patio, where additional seating provides a chance to enjoy the fresh air while sipping your favorite drink. Adjacent to Debeen is Pure Light Yoga, creating the perfect opportunity to sip, savor, and even savasana--all in one visit. Whether you're there for a quiet moment away or catching up with a friend, Debeen Espresso offers a unique and relaxing space where you can really enjoy your experience. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this cozy spot with its delicious drinks, healthy treats and welcoming vibe.

He was very friendly and very personable. You can tell he absolutely loves his city and coffee. He was just phenomenal. Several regulars stopped in and he knew them by name. They were equally as excited and praised his coffee. They had me super excited and glad that I stopped by. He does not sell prepared coffee drinks in the shop, but did recommend local bakeries and cafes that did. BTW, Dots & Pearls was one he recommended and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! He sales coffee beans. This is a roastery, so you're getting fresh roasted beans from some of the most notable coffee regions in the country. It is awesome. I purchased a bag of Sumatra dark roast and a big bottle of chai concentrate. My partner said the chai is delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend that you stop by and chat it up with the owner and of course purchase some high quality coffee. I definitely cannot wait to come back to High Point. I'm not sure if they do consignment style shops within the gift shop, or if it's all under the same business, but it's arranged in a bunch of mini sections that all kind of have a different aesthetic. It was a bit maze-like, but I have no doubt they sell something in here for everyone. Like the gift shop, the bakery had huge variety. Who knew there were so many types of cake? I ended up getting a carrot cake latte and a heart shaped macaron. It was only after I had ordered my latte with oat milk, checked out (including paying the up-charge for oat milk), and waited several minutes that they told me they were out of oat milk. This was disappointing, as I paid my extra for the oat milk, yes, but also because I don't really want a latte in general without it. Regardless, it was too late, so I just told them to do it with 2%. The latte was okay but I didn't love it. It mostly tasted sweet and like cinnamon. Which I guess is more or less what carrot cake tastes like? The menu said it came with a cream cheese cold foam or whipped cream (I don't remember which) but it came out with plain whipped cream. The espresso was a little bitter - maybe burnt or shocked. The macaron was gorgeous, but didn't have a macaron taste or texture. It was hard like cookie. A macaron should be light and airy, and the shell should almost collapse under a bite. I had to chomp through this one. I am not sure if it was stale, a bad batch, or if their "macarons" are just "macaron shaped cookies" by design.
