I had the pleasure of meeting her this morning and I had one of the best coffee's I've had in a long time. Claudia is innovative! She does something unique with her coffees and it's with something as simple as the ice. She makes her own coffee ice cubes, so as it melts your drink won't get watered down, it'll get coffee'd? down! She has menus that describe how to order your coffees if you don't know how to order them properly, like me! Claudia was super friendly and proud of her shop and her craft. I ordered a mocha and she drizzled the cup with chocolate syrup, and whipped cream on top and she poured the espresso on the very top, which I've never seen before. It added such a nice flavor profile to the coffee. There's plenty of spaces to sit in there! She has nice music playing, and overall it's a great vibe in there! I'll definitely be back! We gave Queen Coffee Bean a try for the first time yesterday and it was amazing! Claudia was on site serving up some deliciousness! She greeted us as we walked in and was friendly and happy and kept us smiling and laughing. I came in wanting a caramel mocha, then saw she had raspberry, then she mentioned she also had mint and banana, so I finally decided on a banana mocha. It was delicious! My friend told her to freestyle something with caramel and Claudia made her a caramel affogato. Her ice cubes are coffee so iced drinks don't get watered down! I'll have to grab an iced drink next time! The inside is painted black and is so cute! We love admiring the decor as Claudia prepared our beverages! If you haven't been yet, stop by! Located in the business park not far from Giovanni's this coffee shop is tucked away and upstairs in a quaint little area. My coworker tipped me to all of the different flavors that they offered that may not be on the menu. I also like the fact that the iced coffee includes frozen coffee cubes so when they melt down you have more coffee. The heart behind this coffee shop is as wonderful as their drinks. I so enjoyed talking with the owner & barista today as she told me all about how she sources beans from various countries to support their local economies. Today she was roasting beans from Burundi because the country is trying to teach women to work on the coffee farms to be able to provide for their families. She also had beans from Thailand, the Congo, and more. She roasts them herself! One thing that really sets this shop apart is the ice cubes- the owner makes coffee ice cubes and fruit ice cubes so that your drink never waters down! Amazing!! The shop is a wonderful place to sit down and get some work done, too. It's peaceful with a fantastic coffee shop vibe. Beautifully decorated, and super cute. I thought that all iced coffee gets watered down as it melts until I came to queen coffee bean. The owner is so innovative and came up with her own flavored coffee ice cubes, and makes them herself! As the ice melts, it adds flavor instead of watering it down. I was able to take my time enjoying my drink and it was full of flavor until the last sip. I got a pumpkin cinnamon bun iced latte and it was incredible! They had comfortable seating and tables, as well as merchandise for sale. Yallllllllll this has been my favorite coffee experience I've had in a while. Ms. Claudia is so fun, amazing energy and knows what she's doing when it comes to the creation of her delicious drinks. I'm so mad I didn't take a photo of my beverage. I told her to freestyle it and that I just wanted something caramel and coffee related. She absolutely exceeded my expectations. She confirmed that there were no limitations to what I would consume and did her thing. The creation she came up with was basically her spin on affogato shots and it did NOT disappoint. My friend got some crazy hazelnut chocolate covered banana latte that she absolutely loved. The shop itself is cute and cozy. A lot of space and tastefully designed. So this place is a surprise. At first glance it doesn't look like a coffee shop since it is located upstairs inside the building. The shop itself is a bit dark and has an industrial look to it, but do not let it fool you. The coffee and tea here is really good. They're not bitter or too sweet like some places are. The ice is also not regular ice but coffee ice cubes to help ensure that the drinks do not get watered down. This is one of those little hidden secrets that isn't super obvious from the street, and feels more like an exclusive insiders club. Hidden on the second floor of an older office building, there were adequate signs to find the entrance once we parked. Inside, the entire vibe is very dark, with dark walls and mostly dim lighting. It's a different experience compared to your usual brightly lit coffee shops with huge windows, though I'm torn on how I felt about it. It seems like a very relaxed place to hang out for a while, but almost feels TOO laid back more like you're in a friend's basement and not a business. The real gem here is the owner. She has a fantastic personality and is clearly passionate about her craft. She's excited to tell you about all the options she has, how she roasts coffee beans, and is that bartender eager to have you try their next great idea. She was so fun and accommodating for my indecisive wife and made excellent coffee for both of us. As it sits on my visit, I don't see this being a "line out the door" high speed coffee shop, but rather that local word of mouth secret where you can become a regular and make a few friends and spend some time. My mother found this coffee shop over a year ago and I have been a fan ever since. I gave up going to Starbucks. The owner can pick any flavor and make it a masterpiece! She always has a big smile when we come in and delivers on making us " a delicious beverage." My beverage never makes it out the door because it is always gone immediately. I don't leave reviews but had to talk about how horrible this place was for hosting an event. Was totally unprofessional and clearly didn't know how to handle it. Owner wasn't even there for the couple who booked the event, and instead had other family running it who, still, didn't know what they were doing. Was supposed to be Halloween themed and nothing displayed that....unless you count Halloween napkins being taped to streamers as decorations? A kid could've done better. Speaking of kids, there were kids who were running wild and weren't even apart of the event. Was from the owners family. Why have them come to a private event, much less come so misbehaved?? Unprofessional, disappointing, and overall lackluster. Booked the place for an Halloween based event and nothing was done as paid for. Was told "we go all out with decorations" and there were literally no more than $15 spent at the local dollar store. Halloween napkins taped to streamers were the "decorations"???? I was embarrassed. Paid for speciality "spooky" drinks for the guests and everybody who had a drink, with the exception of 1 person, came to me and said they were nasty. Of course, with things like "chocolate and franks red hot" being used as Ingredients, I'm not surprised. Paid tooo much money for such a disappointing set up. Thankfully an outside person who was paid for separately did an amazing job with a balloon arch. Sad when guest compliment that itself more than anything else in the place. Was supposed to be alcoholic drinks served (which was paid for during booking) but was told that the person at the bar wasn't 21 so therefore couldn't serve the drinks. So why have that person working the bar for an event like that? Reckless. Owner wasn't even there as expected but I'm sure that decision was smart on her part seeing how nothing was done correctly, even after having to reiterate what's to be done and how it's needing to look.
