I tried the new Big Arch burger. It was so good. I split it with a friend. It was huge. I liked the sauce better on it than the Mac sauce.

We sat in the drive thru for 13 minutes for two drinks after already ordering. Every visit seems to make this location more unappealing.

Came 45 minutes before they closed and sat there waiting to order in the drive through for 5 minutes nobody talked to us and another car pulled to the other one and they immediately answer them.Very bad service and locks doors an hour before closing. read more

If I could give 3.5 stars I would but they aren't quite good enough to go all the way to 4 stars. I will very occasionally eat the quarter pounder since they have started fresh grilling it and not freezing the beef, but my primary go to, for food, at McDonalds is the fish. They do the fish well here but deep fried fish has long been a staple of southern cooking but especially in this area of Kentucky. Also if I am up and out early, I am a Sausage McMuffin with egg eater. I never touch any of the chicken dishes or any of the frozen regular hamburger dishes. I have never had a problem with getting any of my food orders handed to me correctly. The one item here that I have to admit that I love is the Coca-Cola, google McDonald's relationship with Coca-Cola if you aren't aware of it. The Coca-Cola is epic! I always order a large Coca-Cola no ice. This is the one place that I have had problems either they don't key in the no ice properly or it gets missed. Several times they have tried to hand me a drink that obviously has ice in it and I just as promptly hand it back. I also at this location have been given an incorrect drink, something other than Coca-Cola. I have learned to put the straw in and taste my drink before I pull away from the window. All in all this is a decent McDonalds and I do not hesitate to go when I need a quick fish fix or when my Coca-Cola desires arise. read more

Employees are too rushed. I'd prefer my food get the proper attention it needs to be fully cooked and dressed. Management was very careless to their employees line etiquette and more worried on getting drive thru times down. All customers should be treated equally. Because this is unacceptable. read more

I have you 2 tries and you failed both. The person at the drive through window on both occasions acted as if she could not communicate. The first time I ordered a cheeseburger happy meal with no milk and she thought I was saying no drink ‍. These phrases do NOT sound alike at all. Today I sat in the drive through where you order at the speaker for nearly 10 minutes and still have no clue why. Multiple other cars passed through in the other lane. When I asked if she got my order all I got was "sorry just a minute"...... I waited longer and still nothing. When I received my burger it had a top bun and a middle piece of bread for a Big Mac. It's a nice enough place and the crew seems nice enough but a little shy on the acknowledgement of customers waiting to order. I stood very obviously before one of the cashiers unsure if she was open and taking orders as she failed to make eye contact and ask me if I was ready to order. The Hodgenville, Kentucky McDonald's location is TERRIBLE in almost every aspect: customer service, management, food preparation, quality, attention to detail, etc. There is hardly ever a time that I receive the correct order. There have been NUMEROUS times where a manager (yes, manager) will take someone in reserves parking an order, give it to them inside of their vehicle, it be the wrong order and continue to bring it to another person. I'm sure most people wouldn't mind, but I'd prefer my food be uncontaminated. Management doesn't care about their jobs, neither do the employees. All around terrible service. Ordered a 20 piece nugget cooked to order and was parked for over 10 minutes after I had already waited in the drive through. The nuggets I revived had a 'cooked to order' slip on the box but instead of being fresh they looked and smelled so disgusting that it instantly ruined my appetite. I called the store to speak to a manger over 10 times before anyone answered. The woman I spoke with offered me only a replacement and not a refund but I would honestly never eat food from here again as they obviously do not care about the quality of either their customer service or food quality. Only thing good about this McDonald's is the pancakes. And they can't even seem to get one order correct. Twice I've went here and have gotten COLD FOOD. But that's not what bothered me, what bothered me was they told me to wait while they make my order fresh, get home (not even 3 mins up the road) and it's ice cold. We stopped to eat in at this McDonalds this evening. There was a note on the door that they close at 8 pm because of construction. That's not the problem. The reason for the one star is that we arrived at 7:53 and they had already locked the lobby. There was a worker cleaning tables in the lobby and when we knocked on the door she didn't let us in. We will never do business with this McDonalds again because of how rude the employee was to us. read more
