It's new I know but hamburgers were dry and usually juicy. They will get there. Great service for how busy they were.

I got their Laker Burger, which was great but a little too much food for little old me. The fries and onion rings were both mighty fine. My wife's fish sandwich had fish sticking out of both sides and was as good as you are likely to get from a burger joint. You just have to remember that you will probably be waiting 10 or 15 minutes to get your freshly cooked order so if you want to party like it's 1965 go on and see them.

Last time we went, we called to make sure they were open. They said yes, so we left and drove straight there, only to find out that they had "decided to close early because business was slow" in the 30 minutes between our phone call and us getting there. We decided to give it one last chance today. We checked the website, which said open until 9 pm. We called to verify and got put on hold for 10 minutes. We ended up deciding to just drive there. We get to the window at 6:03 and they inform us that they stopped serving food at 6:00!! First of all, you could make food 3 minutes ago, but you can't make food now? Second of all, you're telling me you stop serving dinner at dinner time? Ridiculous I like this place's food but it is simply not worth the hastle of driving all the way there only to find out that they are closed, even when it is within their business hours. It has become such a regular occurrence that my family will not be making the trip out there anymore. Sorry Lakers but you've lost some long time loyal customers because you simply can't be open when you're supposed to be.

I then noticed the sign letting me know I could talk to a real person by saying "Team Member". I spoke into the pedestal several time trying to get a person to respond before I just gave up and pulled forward. When Angel came to the window, I explained that the order was wrong, but before I could explain she told me: "I'm going to refuse you service because you were rude." I was speechless. Apparently, she was listening the whole time and assumed I was speaking to her (which I was not). She repeated that I would not be served and closed the window. I drove off. As I drove, I found the number to the location and called to speak with the manager. I asked the person who answered the phone if I could speak to the manager. She told me she was the manager. As I explained my complaint the informed me that it was her who refused to server me. She gave me her name, but refused to give me the number for the district manager. She then told me that I would continue to be refused service because "you're being a dick". If this is the way a Rally's manager speaks to customers, they need to reevaluate their hiring practices. She was listening in to a conversation I was having with my passenger, took offence to my characterization of the crappy AI order system and refused to serve me. At no time did she chime in during my order to offer assistance even though it was obvious the system was not getting my order correct and she was listening the entire time. We drove past 2 McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Dairy Queen and at least 2 local burger joints to get to Rally's. I won't make that mistake again. I called corporate and filed a complaint. I am waiting for a response.

I had the fried shrimp, and they clearly were NOT just frozen shrimp they'd bought somewhere and fried, these seemed homemade. . .definitely NOT typical mass-production shrimp. The food was pretty good. There's two things I would list as downsides, however. The first is that the wait for service was pretty long. It was quite a long wait from when I ordered until I got my food. That's a minor downside, given the quality. I got the picture they might not have a robust back-of-house staff. The second, and bigger downside is. . .I didn't go there expecting a seafood place! The well-worn sign out front still says "Deez Butts" BBQ, and I'd followed signs from the freeway exit thinking I was going to a barbecue joint. When I stepped inside, I pieced together as I was standing in line that the BBQ had closed and this was now a seafood place. It was good food, but I was expecting barbecue and was too hungry to bother hunting for another place to eat. I was left wondering if they couldn't afford to change the (well worn) sign out front. It just seemed a little odd that the sign out front is for a barbecue joint, but it's a seafood place inside.

It was so dang delicious that I can't wait for the next tournament to go back!! We had the crawfish dip, crab leg boil and shrimp boil. It was all so good but lemme tell you about these crab legs!!!! Insanely good! Better than the ones we get in Florida!! They were so well seasoned. The Royal Reds & fried shrimp were delicious. The sausage was perfectly cooked!! Those potatoes cut like butter. The crawfish dip was plentiful with crawfish tails!! Not a single complaint!! Prices are good. Bathrooms clean. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!!
