My food was cold and wrong, the manager was very rude and said that I ordered the number and not the number 7 and I had to go back up to get some sauce for my order, and the men's bathroom was not clean. If you go to the McDonald's on north river, between 6:30 and 6:45 make sure you speak clearly and load enough so you don't get the wrong order and make sure you speak slowly while letting them know that the bathroom needs to be cleaned. Since COVID i have been to this McDonald's 4 times. Dining room was closed. Out of the 4 times, 3 times the order was wrong. 4 out of 4 times the food was cold. I ordered a quarter pounder deluxe. This location is by and far the fastest drive-through McD location throughout Holland. The employees are efficient and mostly friendly. I love Donna, who always acknowledges me and even gives me a bit of grief. Food is always correct and fresh. I will always choose this location above all the others in town! read more

Overall - pretty standard McDonalds. This place is on my way to work so every now and then I stop in for coffee and maybe lunch. The one thing that I have noticed is that the drive-thru staff seems very friendly and I've never found them without a smile. That's pretty impressive as I can imagine that working the drive-thru doesn't always yield the most pleasant customers. I'll be back again. But don't get your hopes up. Has anyone ever ordered an item at McDonald's and they were out of that item...most times they let you know and just readjust your total and you continue onward to pick up your order. Well, new twist, made my order, paid... the worker there was already making mistakes by giving me someone's order, so when I got my order, I checked and only had 2 pies whereas I had ordered 4 pies, 2 apple and 2 pumpkin. The young man said they were out of pumpkin and said they had given me my money back for the 2 pumpkin pies. They had put my money for the pies in the bag, which I considered odd. Has never happened to me. When I got home, I started taking the food out of the bag and the nugget box was upside down but in between the nuggets that were left in there, I found my "refund" for the 2 pies not received and it was not even the correct refund...I have worked with money so I know how dirty money can be , so I was not happy with that. I did go back and talked to a young woman who offered to give me another box of nuggets, which, I did not want. But I did ask for a sweet tea. I don't normally take anything in such cases just letting them know what happened is all I want to do....I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. But thanks to the young lady who was very understanding, I left satisfied. read more

My previous review of this place was way too generous considering how terrible the service is here. Tonight I hit the drive thru window since I was sick and didn't feel like cooking and figured a Filet O Fish would be a pretty bland thing that hopefully my stomach would be able to keep down. There was so little tartar sauce on it that there was only 2 bites of the sandwich were I could just barely taste the tartar sauce. Considering they are charging $3.49 for a small sandwich the least they could do was put enough tartar sauce to where it can be tasted. The thing that really got me mad yet again tonight is how they just hand you your food and don't even bother to give you a simple thank you. It's service like this that makes me say no way should the minimum wage be raised. If it was up to me fast food workers in this country wouldn't be making over $5 an hour which is still more than they deserve. They can't seem to get the order right half the time and rarely even make a weak attempt at pretending to be appreciative that people are supporting the businesses that sign their paychecks. If you want good customer service from a fast food joint in this area skip this waste of a restaurant and go a block down the road to the Taco Bell. Granted it's not fine dining, but somehow they manage to hire good employees that will get you the food you ordered and will be friendly while they do it and they'll even thank you for stopping by. If Taco Bell can find good employees I don't understand why this McDonald's can't. Obviously the problem has to be management letting the employees getting away with giving such deplorable customer service so who knows maybe they need to fire the store management here and work their way down the ladder and start over with a totally new crew. read more

A perfect vibe of modern and classic, this place offers a specialized menu that literally tastes like it was crafted by a wizard ... We got the big mac, fries, Sausage McMuffin, as well as the beef hamburger and what they call the "McChicken". . Let me tell you !! The McMuffin !!! Is !!! to !!! DIE !!! for !!! The Muffin is fatty and melts in your mouth, and the mix of the sausage and cheese with the fries is perfect, an amazing experience. The fries are battered with a sweet aftertaste and has an amazing sweet tomato based sauce paired with it! Currently closed 10 min before they are supposed to. It is 10:50 and they close at 11pm. (7-4-19) i understand it is a holiday but this service was unacceptable and extremely rude. They gave us our food and it was all wrong and when I tried to tell them they slammed the window in our face, walked away, and shut off the lights. Came into this McDonald's several times. I have come in 3 times drive thru and 2 times in. All FIVE times my order was NOT taken correctly and there was always a problem. I repeat my order several times. One quarter pounder meal large. Coke. Only mayo pickle slivered onion. I always either get the wrong meal size or I just get a regular quarter pounder. I understand one or two times messing up but every visit I make here I have a problem.. how ever the food is very fresh all the times I have went and the place was clean. Had a great experience at 9:45 am. Before I ordered they greeted me over the speaker, I could tell they had a smile on their face when they spoke. At the end of my order they offered another purchase I might enjoy and told me the price. I declined, and they moved on with my total and asked me to move forward, all in a very upbeat and kind voice. I got to the pay window they told me my total chatted for a second had a smile the whole time. I got to the food window they had a smile on with my food ready. Handed me my order while telling me what they were handing me, thanked me and offered a good day. The time lasted maybe 2 minutes from order to leaving. Awesome service you guys! read more

If I could give this location a big 0 I would have. We, my coworkers and I, work 3rd shift at a location close by. The one thing that never ceases to amaze me is how no matter what time of the night we go here the frappe machines are always being cleaned. They must have the cleanest Frappe machine in town which is weird because it only takes 30 minutes. Now we have gotten wise and call before we go so we are not let down or waste our time with no operating Frappe machine!!! However, after we call, our timing is apparently impeccable, the machines are going back up in "30 minutes." When calling they are rude (especially the little edentulous one that works the window and answers the phone most nights), when going through the drive thru, they are rude!!!! I work night's as well and I would never treat a customer or living thing the way they do. WAKE UP ALREADY! It's called customer service for a reason. You are here to serve your customers.
