It's my favorite tasting coffee in all of Holland. It's robust and rich, but smooth. You don't need flashy collectible cups or loyalty gimmicks when you've got coffee that just tastes decadent. Wonderful people. Great service. Delicious coffee. My new weekly go-to before the Saturday farmers market starts. Lots of options, happy to customize however you'd like. They also have a self-serve station if you want regular coffee and don't want to stand in line. Very cool setup with everything you could possibly need. The beans were underwhelming compared to other coffees I've tried in the area. However if you stick to their milk drinks it's fabulous.

No one ordered much food with our school but the vibe was really chill and nice, relaxed and professional. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Holland, and often, I'll go out of my way to do some work there when I'm in town. The coffee is particularly good, low acid, which I appreciate. Many of the snacks are tasty, though a bit too sweet to my taste. The only thing that keeps this from being a full 5 stars is that they start closing an hour before the store actually closes. Twice in the last week by 5pm the staff are putting up chairs, mopping floors, and making it seem like the shop is closed when it's actually open for another hour. It's rather off putting and sometimes makes me inclined to go elsewhere so that I don't feel like I'm being shooed out of the shop an entire hour before closing. read more

I got brewed coffee this morning. 16oz with three creams and sugars each. There were those visible flakes from old cream and the sugar was not stirred in at all. Hate to give a less than positive review for coffee that probably shouldn't have cream or sugar in the first place, but this was really awful. Will try again with just black coffee- but do not get cream and sugar! The blueberry muffin was good, not what I expected but good whole blueberries and a crusty top with sugar. read more

First time here and will not be the last time. I love this place! The iced coffee is great no cream or sugar needed! At first I was a bit put off by the service. I quickly realized it was not poor service as much as very individual service to each customer. This is great! You want great service be here! Don't be put off or judge when your in line behind someone each customer is treated like they are the only customer there at the time. Regulars are known by the staff and are talked to like friends. One of my favorite weekend routines is going somewhere to get a really good cup of "fancy" coffee. It's just something I look forward to doing once every weekend. So yesterday we took our kids to the Holland Farmer's Market and stopped at the Simpatico truck for coffee. The woman taking orders was nice enough, we placed our orders and were charged $9 for two lattes- pretty steep, but we were thinking that made sense if they were big cups and took a little time to make (I didn't see sizes posted on the sign, so assumed they were a pretty standard "medium" size). Instead, we were handed two comically tiny cups. I was a little annoyed and remarked to my husband that for that price it better be damn good coffee. It wasn't. It tasted burned, with very little flavor otherwise. I was so disappointed to have wasted my nice weekend coffee on THAT. Yuck. Never again. read more

Pros: I'm very glad I heard about this place earlier this past year. I like it as a place to get away to during the day to take a break and clear my head. I also like it as a place to meet people. It is a peaceful and pleasant environment with some pretty great coffee as well. It's also a nice alternative to JPs if you prefer something a more cozy, less noisy and more peaceful environment. For someone like me, I prefer an environment with less stimuli and distractions. I'm not criticizing JPs, it just depends on what you like when it comes to a coffee shop environment and good coffee. Con: Parking can be a challenge when they are busy. I'm not sure if they can do anything about it, but I have had to find off site parking on occasion. It's more of an inconvenience than anything else. A short walk never hurts either . . . so maybe it's a good thing too. read more

It was suitable working from here from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. then 11 a.m. to 1:30. Internet connection was strong, Americano smooth, environment acoustics at mild to moderate levels. All firm seating - booths, and tables. Bathroom was clean, plenty of parking. Several baked goods available, 1/3 offerings were gluten free: cookies, breakfast bar, crumb cake. Friendly service. No, no, no. This is not a good coffee place, Holland. Even IF it was, the price of the mediocre brew is unacceptable. Apparently being coffee snobs and people snobs go hand-in-hand here. I hate it when I'm made to feel like I'm interrupting the busy lives of the "help" staff. If you don't like making pour-overs, take it off the menu instead of taking out on the customer. Buyers beware! Avoid making eye contact with employees during the purchase process on the iPad where a tip is expected to be added BEFORE you receive your order. I visited the farmer's market in Holland where Simptico has a coffee truck. The woman running the truck was very rude and their menu was not accurate to the coffee they actually made. I wanted a regular iced coffee, but the woman acted like I was stupid for ordering this "nonexistent" item, although their menu clearly stated they served this item. I settled for an iced americano which tasted burnt. Overall, this was an unpleasant experience and inefficiently run. read more
