Super cute coffee shop in Holland, Michigan. Great to stop by right before visiting Veldheer Farm. They have a lot of hanging plants on the ceiling. Their coffee and matcha drinks were flavorful, creative, and the perfect level of sweetness. We had the Brazen Coffee (cayenne honey and chocolate), Vietnamese Coffee (vanilla, cinnamon, coconut creme, and condensed milk), Iced Blackberry Matcha (blackberry cold foam). All of them were great!

My friend suggested this coffee shop to me while I was on a little Holland adventure recently. I got a parking spot across the street and was able to sit and get some work done. I was surprised it wasn't very busy, as it was a very bright and welcoming spot. I loved all the plants and natural light. The menu had some really delicious sounding specialty lattes, but I went with a basic oat milk cortado, which is my go-to these days. I sat at the front window on a short and surprisingly comfortable stool. The wifi was free and fast, and my cortado was smooth and delicious. (I do have to note that they did not take my name for my order, just called out my drink, aka my biggest coffee shop pet peeve. But this does not affect my coffee shop ratings!) They have some food options like waffles, but it looked like they only serve those until 1 pm. I also saw a cocktail menu, which was intriguing! I like a good coffee shop/bar combo. I would definitely come back to this cute shop the next time I'm in the area!

Honestly, been eatin this place up. Many coffee shops I go to claim to have "signature lattes" but really it's the same signature lattes as every other boring ahh wanna be third wave coffee shops. Thus, I appreciate that 205 actually has signature lattes that feel unique to them that they put their own spin on. The Vietnamese latte is bomb. Pour overs are pretty good. -- also their for here ceramic mugs make my drinking experience 10x better. #ilovewhencoffeeahopsgavegoodceramics

Best coffee shop in Holland, Michigan. The natural plants and decor were so relaxing. The owner was so friendly and gave us recommendations for other places during our visit. We had a two great cups of coffee and the vibes were excellent.

Cute and cozy cafe tucked just off of Hope College's campus with AMAZING waffles. Oh my gosh. The lattes were great too but my gosh you need to come here for the waffles. We split a Nutella strawberry and a peanut butter banana waffle and I wish my stomach was big enough to have two full ones to myself. They are decadent but not in an overly sweet way. They balance the spread toppings and fruit well on a fluffy rectangular waffle. Oh, and topped with whip cream of course! We were just in town for the weekend but if we are in Holland again we will definitely come back!

Cutest coffee shop ever. Looks to had a few locals kicking back before work. Super clean. Staff was on point. The first coffee shop we felt was super chill and yet still efficient and with amazing products. Impressive. I'd go here before the others and Holland has tons of coffee shops.

What a gem this place is. It's a little off the main area but still in walking distance. the vibe is super chill. They are true beverage artists! I had a great Vietnamese coffee and my wife had an espresso martini, both were perfect! Give this place a shot, you won't be disappointed!

Cute coffee shop in downtown Holland right off campus of Hope College. There's some table space to sit and relax or do some studying. There's coffee and waffles were good, but the matcha was a bit grassy tasting. The chocolate almond muffin was great.

Great espresso martini on a Saturday afternoon. Well done, great service and attitudes! I have been here many times and love the coffee also. Keep rolling!

Had a great time here! Food is really good, and splitting a savory avocado toast with a sweet waffle was fantastic. Good vibes, lots of plants inside, and music was at a good level. Cute plate for a date, or just to come and read or study!

Although this cafe is very busy on a Saturday morning, the ambience and coffee drinks are excellent. They have a fair number of tables although many college students were already studying in there on a Saturday morning. The line was out the door but moved fairly quickly.

Vibe: welcoming, study space. Amazing interior with a fun mix of asymmetrical industrial wood and metal/garage/iron fixtures, with pathos fines growing across the ceiling on chains. Ryan is welcoming and approachable, as I didn't know what I was doing. Very hospitable. Mugs were this burnished blue pottery with a great hand fill. Brazilian pour over rang in at $5 and has a nice, smooth taste with chocolate notes. Great in the mug. Sit and get some work done. Note: no drip coffee.

I would not recommend. Small. Bad service. Hours are sporadic. There are many other good options in Holland. Save your money.

Bowerman's on 8th is a love letter to the humble blueberry, written in the language of warm lattes, fresh pastries, and shelves overflowing with jars that seem to bottle summer itself. As someone with a dairy allergy, coffee shops can sometimes feel like places built for everyone else. But here there was kindness in the details--different milk options, thoughtful choices, and the feeling that everyone should be able to enjoy a good cup of coffee. Traveling from out of state, this was one of the places I circled on my map, hoping reality would match the stories. Somehow, it was even better. The blueberry latte was the kind of drink that slows time. Bright and refreshing, sweet without trying too hard, tasting like a morning walk through a Michigan orchard after the rain. Around me were cases filled with treats and shelves stacked with jams, syrups, and every blueberry creation imaginable, each one carrying a little piece of the region's soul. There is something beautiful about a place that chooses one simple thing and perfects it. Bowerman's does not merely sell coffee--it celebrates harvests, local traditions, and the quiet joy of gathering around a table. You leave with a warm cup in your hands, a bag of blueberry treasures under your arm and a feeling of satisfaction. Some places are worth the drive. Some are worth the hype. Bowerman's on 8th is both.
