Service was quick and the employees were nice and helpful. Food was very tasty and affordable. Plenty of space to sit and nice decorations! I got the chocolate raspberry muffin which was delicious and the cheddar egg sandwich which was also good but missing the arugula. Would go back again to try their coffees!

I just learned today that Lemonjello uses A2 milk and whipped cream. This is fantastic for those of us who are lactose intolerant. They also have quite a few vegan options for those who want to avoid dairy altogether.

Loved the vibes in this cute coffee shop downtown holland. It was extremely busy, which is when you know you've found a good spot. Iced coffee was delicious and my husband loved his cortado. I sat here for a while reading and enjoying the passerby's on the nearby street. Indoor and outdoor seating available with food options as well!

On a recent trip to Holland, Michigan, Yelp took us to Lemonjello's, a popular coffee shop on the outskirts of the main strip across the street from a historic church. We went on a Sunday morning around 10:30 a.m. in July and it was packed. Both the inside and outside tables were full and the line to order took around 15 minutes to get to the front. By the time we got there, most of the fresh pastries were gone, BUT they do sell a day old pastries for super cheap. A mountain of those were left. The coffee menu is large and they do have decaf coffee. I ordered the miel, essentially a latte with honey and cinnamon, and it was not bad. If you need a fun coffee shop in Holland, stop by Lemonjello's Coffee.

Fantastic. Vibe was great. Food was great. Love the baristas. Little crowded and not a ton of seating.

One of the best coffee shops I've visited in Michigan. I got a cortado and the espresso was perfectly extracted.

It's easy to rate this place at 5 stars as it's one of my favorite coffee joints in Holland. There's always phenomenal service, the coffee is absolutely amazing, and I love that there is zero waste. One of my favorite drinks to order is from their selection of "mood lattes" that are named after moods haha. Today I ordered the "comfort" which consists of white chocolate, hazelnut, and vanilla. They come in 8, 12, & 16 oz cups and I also appreciate that they offer plenty of non dairy milk alternatives. Another favorite drink they have here is the "green army guy" which is apple soda, strawberry, and a literal green army guy hahaha. So fun! Definitely check this place out if you can! It gets pretty busy and filled with Hope College students but that's just because it's awesome.:)

I have been to Lemonjello's in the past, and I knew when I was coming to Holland I would be stopping by. It is conveniently located right across from the Haworth Hotel on Hope College's campus. We came on a Monday during the summer, and there were only 2 people in line ahead of us. There were many open tables inside and outside. The positives: the raspberry chocolate muffin was phenomenal. I wish I had gotten two. We also had the cinnamon muffin which was good, but paled in comparison to the raspberry chocolate chip. I ordered the Mellow latte iced, and it was pretty standard. We also had a peach mango smoothie which was fine. The negative: as previously mentioned, there were only two people ahead of us but they ordered multiple items. They did not take the names for any of the orders, so it was hard to tell whose items belonged to who. Multiple breakfast burritos were coming out, but not everyone was waiting inside so there was a lot of confusion surrounding whose order it was. I never heard my order called out (or if it was, I assumed it was the party ahead of me). I went up to the counter to ask if the one carryout box was mine, and the man who made the burritos was very annoyed. He said there was no name on the order, so he called and no one answered and he had no idea what it was. The person working the register was helpful, but the man preparing the food would definitely keep me from coming back. If I had been asked my name for my order I would have gladly given it, but they did not so it seems to be an operational issue on their end. The poor attitude from the employee was off-putting, but if the food had been good I would have overlooked it. The breakfast burrito I had was truly terrible. I ordered the Egg and Cheese burrito, which automatically comes with potatoes inside. The first bite of the burrito was entirely potatoes, and they were basically raw. There was absolutely no seasoning on the potatoes. The eggs were light and fluffy, but nothing in the burrito was mixed together. One bite is all uncooked, unseasoned potatoes, and the next was all egg. Towards the bottom I finally had some cheese, but it was mixed in with the potatoes. I am unsure if these are made fresh to order, or if the burritos are frozen and reheated. Either way, I have never encountered such undercooked potatoes in a dish. Would I return to Lemonjello's? Maybe, if there was no line. The muffin was fantastic, but the negatives really outweighed the positives on this last visit. The attitude of the employee really left a bad taste in my mouth, right along with the terrible potatoes in my breakfast burrito.

The food is good, but not usually worth these long wait times imo. Today, was a cloudy and cold Wednesday mid morning. The place was busy, but no long wait times. The food is always good. Everything I've ever eaten on the menu is good... but I have a special affinity for pig 'n the blankets, banket, and any Mexican inspired breakfast item in the menu. Today I had the chorizo Benny. It was fabulous and worth the $15 imo. Our waiter, Pedro, was the best! He's worked there for over a decade and knows the family that runs this restaurant--- 3 Dutch brothers--- he gave me a run down on the lore and all the pictures are of their family photos hanging around the restaurant. I think that's pretty cool. They will be opening and expanding into a new restaurant location on the corner of River and Lakewood Blvd sometime in the near future. That location will have more of a "hipster" vibe with breakfast cocktails, etc. Check them out when you want... but if you don't want to wait come during off peak hours and off season times. Make sure to peruse their bakery for some goodies to take home. Salud.

The second I walked into Uncommon Coffee Roasters, I was hit with the smell of fresh bread. It immediately took me back to my grandma's kitchen. She used to bake a loaf of bread just for me--with no nuts, because she knew that's how I liked it. Walking into her house, I always knew exactly what she was making. It's funny how a smell can transport you somewhere in an instant. Then I looked over at the bakery case. Mistake. Everything looked fresh, homemade, and absolutely beautiful. We had plans to spend the rest of the day walking around Saugatuck, so I talked myself out of buying a loaf... and regretted that decision before we were even back out the door. Despite the line stretching from the counter almost to the entrance, the staff handled it like absolute pros. Everyone behind the counter seemed completely in sync, moving quickly without making the experience feel rushed. Watching them work was almost entertaining in itself. The shop has a colorful, artsy personality that fits Saugatuck perfectly. It feels modern without losing that cozy small-town charm. Between the artwork, the cheerful cups (seriously... how cute are they?), and people scattered throughout reading, chatting, working on laptops, or simply enjoying their coffee, it felt like the kind of place you naturally want to linger. As for the coffee... We ordered three different drinks and somehow all landed on winners. My Don't Be Salty cold brew (cold brew with caramel and salted caramel cold foam) was phenomenal. Another in our group ordered the Caramel Silk latte, and judging by the smile after the first sip, I'd call that a success too. I honestly couldn't tell you what our third friend ordered... only that all three of us agreed we'd happily order our drinks again. Some coffee shops are just a quick caffeine stop. Uncommon Coffee Roasters feels like part of the Saugatuck experience. We'll absolutely be back... and next time, I'm buying the bread,
