Meanwhile every customer in there is standing in water. Literally. While on the extended wait time one male employee went to bathroom several times (3). Never once did I hear water running. The way they have it set up here, you don't have to interact with a single g-d person if you don't want to. I love it, and this would almost make me a McDonald's person if I didn't greatly dislike their food. But my youngest child likes a McDonald's double cheeseburger and fries now and again, and so we persist with this place. This McDonald's is modern, in that you order at a kiosk, pay at the kiosk, and then wait for a harried person to deposit your bag of food on a surface for you to pick up. It's all very clinical and impersonal, and I love this system so much. The less I have to interact with McDonald's in any shape or form, the better. We were in and out of here in about 10 minutes, but of course there's a drive-thru, so you don't even have to get out of your car. But strangely, I think going inside and ordering means interacting with the fewest people. read more

Service was fast, I ordered a large fries no salt. I ordered bo salt because I genuinely don't enjoy high salted foods-- I'm guessing staff assumed I just wanted a fresh fry. The top of the fries was hot and not salted, the rest of the order was incredibly salty and lukewarm. I tried ordering 2 egg mcmuffin, and I wanted the egg scrambled not round. It was going to be over 3.00 more for the sandwiches. I've never written a review for a McDonald's before, but feel compelled to give this one a great review because I think it is the best McDonald's drive through service and food I've ever had anywhere in America. I travel a lot for work and family sports and routinely eat at McDonald's for breakfast, and only breakfast. I went to this particular location on consecutive weekend days. I've never had faster service or better food. I stick to the classics: egg mcmuffin, coffee, and strawberry smoothie, and they were done perfectly! I was surprised to see the bad reviews. The food was cooked perfectly and the coffee was the correct temperature and didn't taste burnt like some places. And, it was very quickly delivered all with a smile. After the first day, I went back to see if it was a fluke, but same great service and food. I found this unique little restaurant a couple of weeks ago and decided to give it a try. It looked a little flamboyant from the outside, a humongous oddly shaped "M" in a bright yellow with red backdrop - I thought to myself this looks more like a gas station than a restaurant but I went inside anyway. There was no sign that said "please wait to be seated." After 10 minutes of waiting for my server I went to the front of the restaurant to complain to a manager. I didn't find a manager but a person who didn't give me a chance to speak just said "what would you like to order?" I figured I'd cut my losses and not complain about my server never showing up so I ordered the 1st thing on the menu, literally, I ordered a "#1." I was blown away by how quick they got it to me - it's like they had already made a bunch of "#1"s in anticipation for a lot of folks. I took my meal served on a lunchroom tray back to my table only to find someone else sitting at my table. Again, I cut my losses and just sat at another table. I finally sit down to enjoy my meal and it was a lovely surprise. The #1 was like a club sandwich with burger buns instead of sliced bread and hamburger instead of turkey/ham - very new age indeed. It had a sauce that tasted similar to thousand island dressing and also very finely sliced onions that must have taken forever to slice - my compliments to the chef. All things considered, it's good to try new things and be adventurous - I'm glad I did and was. While this used to be a great location it has really declined in customer service to the point of embarrassment. You also need to wash out for the overnight crew that pulls th old "cash only" skimming scam! This has happened on several occasions to me at this location the most recent this morning at 3:45 am (12-18-2015). When I pulled up to the drive thru window I was informed that they were taking cash only orders. I placed my order and nothing appeared on the drive thru monitor confirmation screen. Then when I pulled to the window the lady totaled my order on her iPhone calculator and gave me my change no from the register but from a cup! When I asked for a receipt she said there is no receipt because they are doing cash only orders because their credit card machine was don. I said I ain't using a credit card and wants a receipt for the cash I paid with. She said it wasn't possible and walked away. A second lady came to the window to hand me my order and I repeated my request for a receipt and was given the same speech that the credit card system was currently down and no recipes old b given and they only can accept cash. This is such a blatant skimming scam ripping off the business it was pathetic also this seems to happen regularly on this over night shift. The food and service are very hit and miss at this location, also the traffic flow has been crippled due to the blocking off of one of the exits onto 96th St for some odd reason. read more

Being that this is McDonald's the food is generally consistent regardless of where you go. That's been my experience at least. So this is based almost solely on customer service. It was pretty bad. I went to the drive thru and the male voice that came through the speaker said, "Can I help you?" I had flashbacks of my older brother saying that same thing to me when I bothered him when we were kids. No "Welcome to McDonald's", no "Would you like to try our new (insert random diabetes inducing item)?", no "My name is "so & so" how can I help you today?" I stated the meal number I wanted and he had a very efficient way of asking what I wanted to drink. He literally said, "Drink?" Hmmm...ok then. He appeared to really not like his job. Or maybe he was having a bad day. In any case, the same quality of service continued when I pulled up to pick up my food. Also, this was an unusually long wait for a McDonald's drive thru. McDonald's drive thru's are normally really quick. This was the first time I had seen a McD's tell someone to pull forward and wait. I mentioned to the person taking my order that that seemed odd - and she said that they were understaffed.
