My first visit to this Shake Shack location. I ordered on the app for carry out, and my food was ready on time. Although I took my food to go, this would be a nice place to dine in. It is bright with natural light, much more attractive than many casual dine establishments. The patio is attractive and it would be pleasant to dine there, weather permitting. I ordered the veggie burger and customized to add extra toppings. It was very good, the bun and toppings were fresh. I ordered the ranch cheese fries and they were good as well. I thought the fries could have used some seasoning but salt and pepper helped. I like the way they package carry out burger and fries. It is easy to eat in your car or at your desk. Fountain drinks were only $2, a bargain. I'm not sure if this was a special when ordered on the app or if it is the regular price. It's nice to have a Shake Shack location in this area. read more

I have been about five times and every single time the meat is way undercooked! They always leave out an item. Burgers, sides, etc. there is always something missing. They have incompetent staff. They look lost and confused. A trained monkey could take an order better. I witnessed a guy wipe his mouth with his fingers wearing the same gloves he used at the register and then proceed to go to the kitchen and handle the food! I gave them ample opportunities to get their act together, but I am done with this place. read more

Today was the fun, low key, grand opening of the highly anticipated new Shake Shack in Zionsville. The air was festive and managers greeted us at the door. A kind employee walked us through the menu. They are famous for their Shack burgers, but started out as a hot dog stand. We ordered and paid at the counter, although they also have kiosks for ordering as well. I had a single Shack Burger and fries. The fries are hand cut and super fresh with a nice crisp. The fries are large enough to share. The Shack Burger is good, comes with cheese, lettuce and tomato that were fresh. My husband had the Flat-Top hot dog which is made from Vienna beef. The large dog is split and grilled. Fixings were limited to ketchup and packets of mustards. He would have liked some onions and relish. Otherwise, the dog was very good. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is made fresh so takes awhile to prepare. They give you a table number and deliver the food to your table. The restaurant has about 20 tables inside and a dozen outside on the patio. On the patio, there is water for your trusty canine. I was surprised to see they serve wine and beer. The wine comes in cans. I did not try, as it was early in the day. A nearby food pantry was collecting donations. A portion of the daily sales went to the food pantry. They support the community. Internet signal was weak in the restaurant, but maybe that will improve with time. I did not see a drive-through. There was plenty of parking in the dedicated lot. read more

Yay a new shake shack on the north side!! And it's beautiful and efficient and I am so excited! Honestly my visit today was about as smooth as it could have been. The establishment was clean, quiet, and organized. So light and airy with all the windows, it was beautiful. The food was prepared well - I LOVE the veggie burgers they have. Being a vegetarian, these are always hit or miss, but I looove these ones. Thankful that they prepared my food quickly on a weekday afternoon, and that it was hot and fresh. I genuinely have zero complaints, all praises! I dread when this place becomes party central & super busy because I loved how chill it was today haha. But it was a dreamy time - and I'm so excited having a new location so close. They also were very kind to my trained service dog upon entry. First of all I';d like to start out with I have always wanted to try Shake Shack. When I arrived at the Zionsville, IN location around 1PM there was a fairly good crowd there. I chose to do my own order at a kiosk since there seemed to her no one taking orders at the counter. The atmosphere is not anything special but was clean and open. They do offer outdoor seating and as it was a beautiful day the table there were pretty full. I placed my order , took a number and sat down and waited and waited and waited. Seems to be the theme to wait. My order did arrive air my table about 15 minutes later. Now mind you I ordered two items. The Shake Shack burger and a chocolate shake. Now first the burger. It is absolutely IMHO nothing special. Burger was kinda dry and tasteless. The lettuce, tomato and pickle were ok. The chocolate shake was very chocolaty and nice consistency, not too thin and not too thick that you couldn't drink it. Not sure I would go back for the burger but I would for the shake. All in all not a bad experience but don't think it's anything special either. read more

This was my first visit to a Shake Shack. I was drawn in by the limited edition limited time Korean menu. I decided to download their app to see if there were any special offers. For me, they had a buy one, get one free Shakeshack Burger. Please note that it was a very specific burger only and not any of the burgers. They also have some different pricing like $5 shakes that are ordered through the app. The restaurant is very clean and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The Korean menu was good. I wouldn't say anything was particularly memorable though. I would definitely go back to try the more standard menu. read more

Upon arriving it was busy for a Friday evening (close to 8:30pm), but the staff was efficiently was moving around the kitchen area. I would say the service was quick. I ordered at the kiosk. The dine-in area was clean but no music was playing because it was a lot of teens hanging out it seems like for a friday night hangout spot. I got a Shack burger, a cheeseburger, fries -no salt, and a 50/50 strawberry lemonade/iced tea. By the time I sat down for 10 minutes maybe....not even that long, my order was up. Food was hot, my shack burger had a lot of shack sauce on it. Kind of made the burger fall apart a little but it was still good. The fries were crispy and hot. The drink wasn't the best. I shouldve just got the lemonade by itself. It was a good experience, I would visit again. read more

Ordered online in store pickup and my order was 40 minutes late. Really should let the online customers know when you're that backed up. Waiting 40 minutes for a takeout order on a Friday isn't cool - staff told me it was an hour wait for food when I walked in. We were the only people in there. It took a while to get our food. We ordered burgers and fries, and the burgers were pink and cold. The fries were super hot but had no flavor. The burger also had no flavor it just tasted like grease and lettuce. We did fill out a review and get a gift card to go back which was nice. We will probably wait a while or go to the other location. After a month we went back and it was worse. Will never be back. The burger was so greasy and raw. It was disgusting. My husband and I visited this location shortly after it opened. It was a Saturday evening, so of course it was busy, especially being new. That being said, for a fast casual establishment, it took way too long to get our food. I could tell other parties around us were waiting a long time too. For two sandwiches, two fries (one with cheese, two fountain drinks, and two shakes, it cost almost $70. The hot food was just okay, but the shakes were good. We decided to stop by a second time a couple months later just for shakes to go. It was again a Saturday night, but not remotely as busy. It still took at least 20 minutes to get the shakes. When we got them, one of them was the wrong kind. Interestingly enough, they made the correct one in just a couple minutes. Why did the others take so long? They let us keep the wrong shake. Ironically that was the only one still really cold. The others were essentially melted. I'm sorry, but the prices are crazy and the food is not up to par. I'll see if reviews improve over the next year. This location is set in a very popular new spot and has multiple fast casual eateries to compete with right down the sidewalk. Being the new and exciting place to get a burger in Zionsville, decided to give it a go. Service was fine - busy place as to be expected, but was handled incredibly well. Order was correct. Food itself was meh. Burger was dry. Fries a bit over fried. Milkshake was tasty, but nothing special. Fried chicken sandwich was okay - portion was large. All in all, not worth the money spent. Only one of two bags was delivered. After repeated attempts to contact the store but only reaching voicemail, a 15-minute call eventually resulted in management offering to refund the order. If I wanted my food, I would need to pay for it in a new order and pay again for delivery. All for a mistake that wasn't mine. Very short-sighted treatment as they now have a 1-star review and will receive much less business going forward from this previous super fan and investor.
