They source their own beans, and make their own baked goods in house. I'll often order their drip cause it's so good, but I also love their pour over, the Nutty Irishman, or just a plain Cortado. Many of their flavors have color added - I asked about the lemon and was told it's yellow. "Very bright yellow," she laughed. And I had to ask because they only have about 10 flavors on display, the rest are in "various" places. If I knew they were running out of the blueberry cheesecake, I could have asked for a small bite. Hard to know if I can't see it. That last point is the real thing I hope they can improve here. Get another display case and start showing more of your flavors. Especially the unique ones that make you special. Maybe not the shockingly bright lemon though.

We also got a four pack of regular cinnamon rolls which we haven't tried yet. They had a homemade oatmeal sandwich cookie that was pretty good, but not the best ever. Homemade nutter butter cookies. The frosting inside was a little sugary, I tasted that, but other than that he said it was a great mixture between crunchy and soft. They have a cappuccino donut... They have Apple, blueberry, raspberry, and cherry And the scones looked amazing although we didn't actually get one. The baker really seem to know his stuff. As someone who cooks all the time and goes to restaurants and likes to try new restaurants and see what other people are doing I really appreciate the fact that he also does the same. He goes places, he tries things and it gives him new perspective. And it shows that he really is into perfecting his craft. Bottom line if you're in the area you should go. Toast is missing the personal touch of people asking for your order when you are getting table service and not ordering at the counter. The one lady serving us was generous to personally take the order for my one friend who didn't want to put his credit card online. Otherwise, your order is carted over by "teenagers" (the lady's exact quote) from the smokehouse across the street. When you place your order, it comes out as it's prepared. Your table may not all come out at once, especially if it's 7 people like ours. Drink and deal with it, I suppose. But the wait from first dish to last wasn't terribly long.
