Let's start out by acknowledging that you don't go to McDonalds for a premium, super fancy burger so to judge them by the fancy burger shop you eat at is not fair. It's fast food and if we are all honest, it's the food we wanted when we were kids. Tonight I wanted some of that food. I drove to McDonald and ordered some cheeseburgers, fries and a Sprite. The fries and Sprite were what you would expect from McDonalds, I mean their fries are the stuff of legend, mine were hot and crispy. The Sprite is the stuff that internet legend for McDonalds with custom straws and their syrup to CO2 ratio, it is better than most places. A great addition to the meal. However, my burgers were not as good as I hoped they would be. The buns were hard and I am not really sure why. Other than that no major complaints but one had no ketchup only mustard. Staff were super nice and friendly, which is something you don't get at most fast food places. I won't be in a hurry to go back as I don't eat McDonalds very often but I would go back if I am in the area and in a pinch. read more

I came with grand daughters who wanted Happy Meals but "no onions, no this and that. Want apple slice, want French fries" etc! Luckily the cashier understood them bec I wasn't catching it all PLUS I could get a human to take my order w/o having to use the kiosk! I did get the $5 double cheese burger special but they left off the 4 piece chicken nuggets. Since one of the grands wanted more fries (they really were a small amt in H Meal) so I went up and asked for more fries for her; she gave a nice hot batch of fries and the 4 McNuggets. This McD's has the friendliest drive thru staff of all the other McD'ses in the area. Not only that they are way faster than the other store locations local to the Mandarin area. Personally the food at McD's is horrible and I only eat it when I have to. The fries on the other hand are the bomb; might be the extra dose of sodium they add to it. read more

This review was based strictly on a drive thru experience. Customer service skills weren't horrible but definitely lacking. Did I get the correct items? Yes. Was the cashier or food handler friendly? I did a mobile order to pick up curb side, I waited 10 mins for my order till I had to go inside to see about my order. When I got home I basically got the wrong order. Not happy with this service. Usually, my curbside pickup is fast and my order is right. It is sad that there were 4 people upfront and still my order some how got skip. read more

Let's start off by saying I only came in here for a drink. I was out driving around getting some errands done I needed an iced tea and pulled in here to grab one. I was greeted by one of the friendliest, most pleasant people I have met in quite some time. She said she's only worked here about a month, but she was so pleasant and had such a big smile on her face and you couldn't help but smile back and let it brighten your day. This location has provided the best experience in the area. The interior is smaller than some; modern and mostly clean. Kiosks located near the counter allow one to input orders without human interaction. Although the cashier was very nice, he also seemed very confused or distracted. I came for the first time to this mcdonalds. I ordered through the electronic board and it went with no flaw. We sat and received our order 10 mins later. Food was as any other mcdonalds nomajor change except that our burguers were neatly made and wraped. Food was tasty and fries were crispy. Nicely made. Employee's little kids (I guess they take their kids to work there) were running all around the seating area, making so much noise - we had to leave. We don't go to McDonalds often, but I wanted a McRib. Aside from forgetting the pickles, it was okay. Wife's quarter pounder had extremely stale bread, and it was cold. Way too noisy, and those rug rags almost knocked our food and us over more than once. The place was nuts! read more

Went to get iced coffee in DT. Was asked what flavoring I asked for choices and she said unsweetened one so I went with whatever was unsweetened. Came to the window and was handed coffee with creamer. I politely asked the young lady if she could remake it without creamer and it's whatever unsweetened flavor they had. She handed it over to the manager who came and argumentatively told me that I need do tell them no creamer. I told her I wasn't Asked. She said regardless I have to tell them it's without creamer or otherwise how would they know. Okay not a big deal. Got it without creamer. Pulled off took a sip and it's full of sugar. Went back inside. The same manager had her back turned not paying attention. I patiently waited. She looked at me and didn't acknowledge me. Just stared. Asked her if she could remake unsweetened. She comes off with saying first you wanted it without creamer now you want it without sugar so what do you want, there's nothing unsweetened here??? I proceeded to explain that she offered me unsweetened flavoring and she proceeds to tell me to hush up that we are adults and no reason for me to talk over here (I never even finished what I was saying) and she said no reason for me to be hushing her. I actually never shushed her, but I do have a speech impediment and an accent and I think she was being bitchy for some reason. I have never ever in my whole life raised my voice or been rude to anyone in food service ever. I think this is rudest and lowest form of creatures to do that to food service employees, and I was very pleasant during the whole interaction and there was absolutely no reason for her to come at me aggressive from the first interaction. If she can't handle her PMS she needs to take the week off. McDonald's has lost my favor a while back and with this type of attitude I don't think that's going to changing anytime soon. I am so ashamed that I even checked in here.. LoL!! Mainly because I really try to stay away from fast food. I had an immense taste for "Mc Donald's fries. Geez Louise I don't know where the craving came from.. Its been 5 years since I've eaten at a Mc Donald's.. It will NOT happen again. This particular location was really, really, really, really dirty. I was truly shocked. Even the employees looked like they all needed to be coached on good hygiene. Greasy debit card machines, filthy floor behind and in the lobby and dirty counter tops and table tops. I used to DREAD going to this McDonalds. The staff was borderline rude and my order was always messed up. My three year old wanted fries in the way only a three year old can, which meant urgently, and this was the closest drive through. I have NEVER had such friendly service at a McDonalds. The woman who took our order was delightful and the food was great. It was pouring down rain and the window staff was very kind and thorough (wiping my drink down before they handed it over, making sure to repeat the order, things that rarely happen at McDonalds. I'm rating this McDonald's so low due to the service. The food is always fine IF we actually get what we paid for. I don't understand, but literally every single time we go to this McDonald's, they forget to give us something we ordered or give us the wrong item. We did a mobile order and I forgot to put "I'm here" on my phone, they couldn't find us in the system but told us to pull thru. They started handing us the wrong food, but after looking at my phone with the order number they were able to reconcile their system and started handing us the right food. We created a blip in their efficiency so in order to serve more customers they told us to park at drivethru spot #1. Then they forgot about us. I had to call the store to tell them they forgot about us. 1 min later, the manager came out with our food, and she was externally apologetic and she gave us additional food in order to make it up to us. Again, like other reviewers I hate to complain about fast food, but I am compelled after a disappointing experience. After a day in the hot sun, my husband and I decided to surprise the kids with ice cream on the way home. They were thrilled! We ordered at the kiosk at 12:04 and waited and waited. We tried not to be too anxious since it was lunch time, but at 12:20 when we still didn't have our food, my husband stood in line for 5 minutes and finally got the chance to inquire. It was now 12:25. At this point, the person said very matter of factly that they were out of ice cream. What??? Why did it take 20 min and us checking on it ourselves to learn that? There was no apology. My husband asked to get his money back, and again had to stand in line. By 12:30, after waiting for 30 full minutes and nothing to show for it, my kids were deflated and we were too. Luckily we went to DQ down the road and had some refreshing treats. The second I pulled up to the drive thru I was greeted with "what do you want?" and as I ordered the girl proceeded to speak over me. I asked if she got my entire order, and she said yes. Once I arrived home, I realized that she didn't actually listen, which was not shocking, and did miss part of my order. Great experience in this McDonalds for me as compared to many others that I have dined in. Well I hate to complain about cheap food at a fast food restaurant but this time there was multiple issues usually I just go through the drive-thru which is fine unless they're out of something like ice cream or apple pie mostly at night... today I went inside and walked up to the counter and was told that I needed to order at the kiosk so I didn't question it and just went ahead place my order took my number and waited but no receipt came out and I never saw my number on the screen supposedly of what was in progress... I only ordered two things a double bacon cheese and a 6 piece nugget... so after a couple minutes I went up to the counter and ask them why didn't I see my number they actually just put the food on the tray and handed it to me... the food was hot and the burger was delicious, the Nuggets were a little over cooked and dry but edible and the ranch sauce was surprisingly good. I have to say that it was warm and humid inside instead of cold like I expected and it was raining outside so that might be the reason...major issue: the dining room was a mess, almost every single table was dirty and I saw food and bits of trash on the floor, and it was not busy at all in middle of the day also there was an old bum who smelled so bad that when he walked past me I thanked my lucky stars that I had already finished eating!! He went outside for some reason and when he came back in he continue to smell up his half of the room over by the TV... I assume that the young crew who were busy laughing and talking amongst each other we're not trying to get rid of him and we're just ignoring him who knows how long he had been there- maybe all afternoon! This location is fairly new and the decor is cute if they would just keep it clean... but there's definitely some management issue because I have come here before and was told that the credit card machine was not working and that they were only taking cash...p.s. today I was trying to use their free WiFi and it showed that it was connected on my phone but it wasn't working because multiple websites said they couldn't connect so maybe they need some tech support?... enter at your own risk I say! read more

This McDonalds CONSTANTLY misses/messes up our order. I can't tell you how often they've forgotten to put things in the bag or put the wrong thing in the bag. Staff isn't helpful at all- usually it's just a couple of kids goofing off. They could care less. read more

Me and my friend went to a different location and they completely messed up our order. We had already left when we realized they messed it up so came to this one, Lynn (not really sure how to spell it) I'm assuming the manager said she wasn't sure if she could replace it for us because it wasn't her location but then called someone and said she would help us out. It is so obvious the owner of this franchise does not care about the quality or cleanliness of this restaurant. It is disgusting. Service is terribly slow and special orders are always wrong. It really seems as though there is no manager even there. 20 minutes waiting in the drive through line with only three cars ahead of me. I highly suggest you go elsewhere.
