Working From Home - this place is great to "duck-off" and get some work done. I stumbled in after overcrowding at StarBs but I lucked up on the GEM The inside is actually as the pics suggest. Art Deco Modern with selfie stops along the walls. However, there's no way to show how much space and privacy is available. This place is quiet as a library and music is playing subtle enough to focus & tap your feet at the same time. Having outlets available makes for a bonus experience. The only thing, they close at 4 and my work day is over at 5pm. I got the Cupcake Latte (Espresso, oat milk, cupcake flavor) and a Everything Bagel Bacon Sandwich with your standard bacon, egg, and cheese in it. first of all from the moment you walk in you feel like you're walking into this Instagram café that feels luxurious and extremely aesthetically pleasing. The colors are elegant, and the textures are very complementary. I had everything bagel breakfast sandwich with bacon and I am 100% sure I could've been in two or three of those because it was not overly toasted or overly crispy bacon. Every month, we take our dog to be groomed, and since it's quite a drive from our house, we always look for a coffee shop to relax in while we wait. Today, we discovered Sweet Peaches Coffee on Baymeadows Road near San Jose, and what a find it was! The food and drinks were fantastic, and the laid-back yet cool vibe of the place made it an instant favorite. I enjoyed a delicious mocha chiller, while my husband opted for a generously-sized cup of chocolate milk. For breakfast, I had a flavorful sausage, egg, and cheese English muffin, and my husband's breakfast burrito looked absolutely amazing--he loved it! The service was outstanding--both the barista and the lady who brought out our food greeted us with warm smiles and a very friendly demeanor. We felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The café wasn't crowded, the seating was super comfortable, and the atmosphere was perfect for unwinding. I stopped in here for a quick 15 min pit stop in between errands on leap year day. So happy I did. I was able to order two lattes off of the limited time menu which happened to be the last day they were running these drink specials. The girl behind the order counter was incredibly helpful in drink suggestions. I chose to sit at the bar for a few minutes, then explored around snagging photos with my delicious drinks. This coffee shop stayed steady. I visited around 11:30am on a Thursday and everyone hanging out inside here looked quite content. There was plenty of staff, plenty of seating, fast wifi, loads of drink choices, and I'm pretty sure they offer light snacks too but I was not here long enough to check those out. When I visited the store I was very excited to try this place out! I had been following the instagram page for a bit. I liked the content and one of the drinks stood out to me so l finally went to visit! When I went in the owner was on her laptop and looked annoyed that she had to get up to take my order. I always try and give the benefit of the doubt but I myself work in customer service and wouldn't treat a customer like this. When taking my order I was looking if I wanted to order anything else and even then she was giving me a straight face. Not the person that is being portrayed on instagram. Pretty as a peach! This bougie coffee shop just opened and it is very pretty. Not your typical coffee shop. I had the medium latte which has 2 shots and I added an extra and the total with tip was $9 so basically a little over Starbucks pricing which I think is a bit much. The small latte comes with 1 shot and the medium and large come with 2 which I didnt understand but I guess for those that prefer milk over espresso you're good. I asked if dogs were allowed and they said only service dogs but I get it in a bougie place like this. I asked if they did pup cups to go like every other coffee shop around here does and they weren't sure. So definitely does not cater to the dog clientele and I get it, and that's ok too. I was in the area with my son and wanting to check off another coffee shop off my Jax Donuts Trail list on Visit Jax's app. Sweet peaches was near me and on my list so I decided to visit them. They were easy to get to and find, and there was plenty of parking out front. When I walked inside, I was amazed how pretty it was, with pink walls, neon light, and velvet chairs. The woman working the register was super friendly and kind. I decided to try the 16 oz. Iced salted caramel mocha off their fall menu with a blueberry muffin my son picked out. She offered to warm up the muffin for us. It was around $10 for both items. She brought out the drink and the muffin to our table, which was thoughtful since my hands were full with my son. We sat and ate our muffin, which had a nice sweet taste to it. The mocha was full of flavor all the way to the bottom of the drink. I enjoyed the atmosphere, as it was quiet with few people. Most people were taking their orders to go. I appreciated the service and liked the mocha and muffin. I hope to be back again! read more
