First of all I ordered a McDouble and and a hot and spicey McChicken plus a small fries. The buns seemed like they were dunked in the french fry deep frier they were so greesy. The french fries were limp and soggy, and had no salt. On top of that, the window person didnt know basic math and couldnt figure the price. I dont know what they are doing behind doors after 10PM, but their eyes are glazed and they cant even figure out how to use their own register. Every time I go there at night, I have to check what I got, because it is often wrong and the window people are very rude. If you want McDonalds, go to another town, because this one is terrible! read more

I ordered three double cheeseburgers, a medium fry, a large fry, and a large Coke. They charged me for all of that. The issues were that they handed me a Coke that had obviously been sitting for so long that it had gone flat. The next one was that I got charged for three DOUBLE cheeseburgers when they only gave me cheeseburgers. The wrapper was even wrapped to where is said double cheeseburgers. Every single time I go here, they mess something up! I wish this town had more food options because the kids at McDonald's obviously do not care! read more

I previously work at this McDonalds with my fiance. We weren't the only couple working there as well. The general manager would constantly schedule the other couples working there as well. But the thing that the general manager liked to do is schedule other couples 6+ hours together and me and my fiance 1 hour or never. Now I'm not complaining but how is that fair? One top of that she started taking hours away from both of us and when i went to her about giving us both more hours she said she can see what she could do for me but my fiance had to talk to her because he had complaints about. Now note that before she was taking hours him and I were getting full time hours like 5+ days a week and we ended with him getting two days a week and I was getting three days a week and the week before that my fiance had one day a week for three weeks in a row and I was getting two days a week in three weeks in a row. Now when he went to go talk to the general manager, I would tell her a couple hours ahead of time that he was coming to talk to her but she would leave early and when my fiance finally talked to her, she only said that the complaints were generally about the same thing but wouldn't tell him specifically what they were and refused to tell him what he could improve on.This is one of the many reasons why this McDonald's in particular is so bad not to mention after my fiance and I quit they lost A LOT of people including really good managers. The only way this McDonald's can get better is if it gets a new general manager because she is not only the general manager of this one she's also the one in Loveland by the Centerra off of Eisenhower. read more

This place is a McDonalds...that's about it. No other choices in this town, so they screw you at every turn. They charge extra for extra sauce, their crappy ice cream machine is down half the time, and nobody has a clue what is going on. The manager that I spoke to sounds about 14 years old and has no clue. Today, after ordering and assuring that they were still serving breakfast I was presented with McGriddles as a replacement for hotcakes. They should replace this !@#$shack with a vending machine, it would be more efficient and the food would be better, also, would be better service and faster. read more

We've lived here for 2 years and have only been able to get ice cream once. Their machine is always broken! Today, not only did they not have ice cream, they also didn't have pop and while we were their the sweet tea ran out. Upon telling a worker about the sweet tea his response was "I'm working in the back. " Awesome. We decided to leave but kids being kids they had to use the restroom first. Of coarse, they were disgusting. We're done. We will NOT be returning. read more

When I go to Mcdonalds I generally have low expectations, however this specific location has managed to disgrace and infuriate me repeatedly!!! Not to mention previous experiences... Today was note worthy, they open at 5am, I showed up at 5:10am. I am preparing to place my order when a voice tells me they are not serving for another 25min. I then pull through the lane only to see another customer being helped. I was confused and pulled back through the front and checked the hours. They were open, inside a nice young lady wworking the lobby told me yes they were open! Wjen I pulled back thrroigh the drive through I was met with the same voice (on duty manager) who again said she wasnt ready, it woulf be 25min. When I began to protest she simply told me to have a nice day! That was it! No apology, explination, no service. If your in the mood for a dirty lobby, incorrect orders and rude service I suggest 7-11 up the road! read more

I've lived in Johnstown for 5 years and this is the only McDonalds here. I don't think this McDonalds feel the need to put out a quality meal because they are on a busy corner and get a lot of drive by business. I would say that 60% of the time my order is incorrect after waiting 10 minutes for it. I now check to make sure it is right before I leave. And if it's wrong, I have to wait another 10 minutes for them to usually get it wrong again. Last time I was in there the ice machine had no ice and the coke dispenser was out of coke. I told the manager and she just said OK and never filled the ice or fixed the coke dispenser in the 15 minutes I was there waiting for my order. They simply don't care about their customers. And the workers at these types of burger places want $15 an hour? Try doing your job correctly for the wage you are making now!! Jeesh!! The owners need to fire the inept morning/day shift manager and hire someone that cares about the customers and training the employees correctly. Who knows, maybe it's the owners that don't care as long as the money keeps rolling in. I think I will contact corporate headquarters (Steve Easterbrook CEO) and send them this review and and all the others here that have had less than excellent customer care. Anyway, I will drive to another town from now on to get my big mac fix. read more

The service is very slow. For breakfast hour they need to hire more people to service the drive thru customers...too many times we pull up to the window and am told we have to park and wait for our order. Also, their machine for making shakes/frozen drinks like frappes and such is constantly out of order. I have driven there numerous times only to be told the machine is not working. One time the worker told me they forgot to clean it the night before and thus the reason it was not working. That was not something I needed to hear! The manager needs to replace the machine, make sure they clean at night, and make sure customers get what they want. This is the first McDonald's that I have ever complained about. Also, they do not fill up the cups when you order iced coffee, but leave 1/4 of it empty from the top. I asked them about this, and they said they are told not to fill up the cups past the line stamped on the cup. So, if I order a large, I get a medium, and if I order a medium, I get a small, and if I order a small, I get a few sips. This is just a way for the manager to cut costs and save money on the expense of the customer. This is the ONLY McDonald's that does this, and I buy coffee at numerous McDonald's for many years. Tacky and bad business, especially when you know they add a lot of ice, too. read more
