So listen, this is a five star review that is weighted heavily on everyone acknowledging that this is a fast food restaurant and that I am judging based on fast food criteria. Comparing it to a local restaurant would be unfair, so I'm only comparing it to other McDonalds. That said, this is one of the best McDonalds that I have the pleasure of eating at frequently. They almost always get my order exactly right and when they don't, they're quick to fix whatever is missing. The people who work here are extremely friendly and super willing to take care of their customers. One of the guys who works here will literally regularly SPRINT outside to bring you your food if the lines are long, making sure you're not waiting too long. I've never had any problems with cleanliness or overflowing trash like some of the other reviews mention. It might have been a fluke when they came in--this is the only fast food restaurant we have in the Silver Valley (unless you count Subway, which I really don't.) That does mean this McDonalds is a hot spot for every school bus coming through, or caravan, and I've heard that it's not unusual for them to receive orders of 100+ items at a time. They're conveniently located right off the highway and right next to a gas station if you needed a top off. I know no one goes to a McDonalds for the stunning view, but I will say that the parking lot has a wonderful vantage of Silver Mountain and there's something magical and a little silly about slamming back a Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit while watching the morning fog roll off the mountain all lit up in gold from the rising sun. You gotta appreciate beauty everywhere, even in unlikely places. Sometimes, if you're lucky, you'll even get to watch some local wild turkeys argue with some local wild crows about who gets to finish off your fries. read more

I can't believe I am writing a 5 star review for McDonald's but this one had the absolute best customer service! The team here is top notch , they actually look happy to be there! The space is very clean , they came to ask how our food was as if we were eating somewhere fancy and asked if we needed anything else. I had forgotten an ice cream cone for my little sister, and had apologized and asked if he (Brian I think) could add one on for her and he had gotten mad, sighed, threw his hands in the air and ignored us and didn't ad it on and had another lady ring us out. Maybe don't open the window if you're still taking an order over the headset. I work fast food and I completely get it but his reaction was completely unnecessary. Every time I go to this McDonald's I'm disappointed. This time I left with no food. For a McChicken which used to cost a dollar and a small order of fries they wanted me to pay six dollars. You have to buy a McChicken for a dollar and get something else for a dollar or else pay full price, and three dollars for a small order of fries? Large corporations are gouging the American public, making billions in profits annually and calling it inflation. Forget it. I'd rather boycott. read more

This McDonald's is the worst. The service is terrible, the trashes are always full and the digital flashing menu sucks. The young heavy set woman who was working the register during silver hoops was especially bad. She had a total fit about me needing to glance at the menu before I ordered. I was standing back and out of the way of other customers in case they wanted to order first, though there were no other customers in line but this was still a problem for her. The menu I wanted to order from was flashing on for a second and dissapearing. All told it took me about 2-3 mins to decide. After we ate the garbages were so full that the tray I was emptying got spit back out and into the floor. The young woman stood there doing nothing watching me try to pick my trash off the floor and jam it into the can. The grade school KIDS sitting behind me when we were eating were complaining to their parent to remind them that they never want to eat there again, both sad and funny. read more

My experience here was neither as stellar as Topm S. or as abysmal as Erin S., so here is my take. First, it is a McDonald's so not as if there was any surprise in the menu. But the food was probably some of the best I have ever had from a McDonald's. And the location was fairly clean, so that was good. I will say, however, that service here was very slow. Not so much at the counter, but it seemed to take a seriously long time for our orders to be prepared. There were very few customers there and staff seemed adequate, so I am not too sure what the hold up was. I think part of the problem was that there seemed to be a training of many new employees going on, so hopefully they will be quicker in the future. Overall, except for the slowness this was a slightly above average McDonald's visit. read more

I almost never write reviews but I was so disappointed in my service tonight I had to. I ordered a Big Mac meal and that was all. The lady who took my order was extremely rude over the microphone and even worse when I got to the window to pay. I was honestly kind of shocked at how snotty her tone was. When I pulled forward to get my food, I saw 3 people texting on their cell phones right in front of the window. I get sometimes you have to send a quick text but I know there were at least 3 cars behind me, and they were scrolling for the length I was at the window (about 2min). When I finally got my food, the fries were half full and cold, the Big Mac was a mess, and the straw to my milkshake was broken (this probably wasn't their fault but was my breaking point lol). Had it been just the food, I would have let it go but the poor customer service was pretty astounding for how great they usually are. read more

This is the best Mc Donald's I've ever been to. I came at 10:59 PM (a minute before closing) and got to the drive thru speaker at 11:00. It started playing an automated voice saying that it was during closing hours, but an employee interrupted and let me and my friends order. He and a lady kindly made our food, and weren't mean at all (actually the nicest McDonald's employees i've seen). Food was fresh, and fries, nuggets, drinks, etc. we're full and not missing anything. This McDonalds was absolutely filthy inside! Our food did not taste good and the crispy chicken sandwich that we got smelt like puke to where none of us ate any of our food it stunk up the whole car! They had no large lids out so when I asked for new was he was very aggressive about getting me some! I also got a large sprite and it tasted like the machine have not been cleaned in so long! Everything was a disgusting in there, where the self severed drink dispenser was it had trash all over it, including some of someone's milkshake that they spilled that looked like it had been sitting there for awhile! Very dirty, very outdated, and the staff is not great. The food is McDonald's so it's pretty consistent. If you ask for your food a certain way, expect it to be wrong. If you're traveling through, it's fine for a quick stop. Don't really recommend unless you want something quick and easy. 2 stars read more

Yes I am reviewing fast food for those that have a problem with that. :) This place (compared to other fast foods) was very friendly, efficient and one of the nicest McD I have visited - and with 5 G Kids - I have visited many. My wife and I were traveling and just wanted something fast - so we pulled into here. They had my Low Fat Italian dressing so I had the salad. It was a huge salad so I asked for another dressing and they smiled and gave it to me - no charge. I found it to be fairly clean and agree with Tommy S - training center material. read more

Gross....that describes this place in one word, but I'll elaborate a bit more. The tables are always dirty, the bathrooms tend to be scary and some of the staff don't seem to wash their uniforms or themselves. Oh, and the food looks like slop. Frankly, I just don't understand the appeal for this chain. I have gone through the drive thru twice now in the past month. The first trip they forgot to give me my beverage which I didn't catch until I go home 15 miles away. Next time, today, I went through the drive thru and when ordering specifically asked for bacon instead of sausage. Got back, opened my meal and there it was....SAUSAGE! Two times, two mistakes. A couple months ago, went through and asked for 10 bacon, egg and cheese biscuits. Got charged for them, paid for them and took my bag, Got back to work to share with my team and I had been given bacon and cheese biscuits, no egg. Tried to call today, no answer. Same as the biscuit day. I realize they can get busy, maybe training new people but isn't there someone who supervises the new hires? I'm not sure which time warp others were in when they thought it should be.a training center. Every time I went (yes past tense) my order were always wrong, when I would go to get it corrected they would actually tell me that's what I ordered. I present the receipt and finally get it corrected. So besides the abysmal service times (fast food does not equal 10 min or more), I get the wrong order, and then get told that I do not know what I'm talking about. Things ran much better a couple of years ago, anymore you see them pushing buttons to clear their screen, managers are not around and orders are messed up..'.. save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more
