Killer Burger is definitely one of the best burger joints in town. The service was exceptional and the food was amazing. I have been here a couple of times and borh times I have truly enjoyed the experience. First of all, the kid taking the order did an awesome job. Five stars for Matthew. He was super friendly and provided excellent customer service. The food was out very quickly. We ordered the BLT Chicken Sandwich. Man this sandwich was delicious. If you plan on taking your food home, it looses half its experience. Learned this the hard way. There were a few times we got it to go and were actually not very satisfied after we ate it. After putting the pieces together we realized it was because we brought it home. Maybe because they give it to you in a box and it quickly loses its heat and makes it all soggy. I don't know. Came to try the veggie burger because we eat mostly plant based. I would describe it as acceptable for adults, unacceptable for kids. My 8 yr old said, "Why is there so many veggies" and "What are the crunchy things?" He muscled through half of it before quitting and we promised him we'd cook him a better one at home. It takes time to work out the kinks such as inventory, employee training and the general operation no matter if it's a large box as a new Costco, a coffee shop or restaurant......SO, the ownership here has this restaurant running on all cylinders. It says to order through grubhub, but it also says NO FEE. So, I ordered 2 burgers, no fries. It came to a little under $30. The BEST Burger hands down!! And don't even get me started on the Frys, best by far anywhere we have been! If you like spicy we definitely suggest getting the bomb sauce to dip those frys in! I would say a 3.5/4 star here! The burger I had, the classic was good, slightly overcooked tho. I liked the fixins' for sure. My husband ordered a fatty burger, the barnyard one I think and it literally fell apart the moment he bit into it. It was an unnecessary mess, unfortunately. Sitting across from him, while I am happily eating my burger that is what it is, he is sooo picky. But also he isn't when it comes to burgers, he just wants a damn good one. And I watched as each bite I took he became more and more uncomfy. The bun was soggy, the veggies dispersed all over, the one strip of bacon.... We drove an hour and he was a lil' disappointed since we did end up spending $50.
