make sure you check your orders before you leave either not made right or items forgotten

This review is based on my personal experience both as a former employee and as a customer. In my experience, the front counter was often unattended, and I experienced long waits to place an order. I also frequently saw other customers waiting for someone to come to the register. Orders were often incorrect, so I recommend checking your bag before leaving to make sure everything is there. I also had negative experiences with management and felt employees were often treated poorly. I frequently witnessed managers yelling at employees, criticizing them in front of others, and expecting one person to complete what I felt was an unrealistic amount of work. The work environment was stressful and, in my opinion, made the restaurant an unpleasant place to work. I personally witnessed managers swearing at customers, speaking negatively about customers behind their backs, and becoming frustrated with employees who were trying their best. In my experience, management's actions made it seem like they did not value either customers or employees. Based on what I personally observed, I was concerned about how management handled a reported food safety incident. That experience made me lose confidence in how customer concerns and workplace issues were addressed. Overall, based on my experiences as both an employee and a customer, I would not recommend this location because I do not believe management addressed the problems effectively. I suggest taking a look at Google reviews on this place and looking at others pictures of their foods so you get the idea of how badly they mess up on food and treat others. read more

Flies in the dining room and dirty bathroom. Service was quick and food was ok but sanitation makes me wonder.

My friend and I visited the restaurant today, mid-afternoon, just for a break from the heat. We went inside for some ice-cream, we sat down to relax and visit when a young employee started doing laps around the dining room. I finally looked at him a bit annoyed, he stopped and said " I have ADD & I can't stand still". I kind of understand, however, there were dirty tables, use your time and clean with your ADD. When we went to leave he was walking down the street, I'm guessing towards home. We felt very uncomfortable as he paced back and forth passed our table. read more

Everytime I have been there something is wrong with our order! Tuesday we went to get breakfast to go. Got down the road & opened my bacon egg & cheese mcgriddle & it had 1/2 piece of bacon on it!!! Driving up 41 and stopped in Kentland for an Egg McMuffin and coffee. I am surprised to see all the bad reviews for this location and so I wanted to chime in on my recent (last weekend) experience. Excellent customer service and my breakfast was served up quickly. My partner and I both got the Egg McMuffin, hash brown and coffee. All the food was hot and tasted exactly like any other McDonald's. The coffee was hot and fresh. We used the bathroom, it was clean. They had closed one stall with an "out of order" sign, but you can't blame the restaurant for a faulty toilet. Sorry to read about all the folks who had bad experiences here. Ours was fine and on par with any other McDonald's I have ever visited. (except for the location in Lebanon, IN which is a nightmare.) read more

The food is the same but the McChicken is so great. It is mouthwatering and the sprite is actually good. 10/10

Worst experience, waited 45 min on two egg McMuffin, never got any of my order, got a refund, the owner of this location is a known to understaff all his locations, he should punch himself in the face. Fast food isn't 45 min, get your store together or close it. read more

I just got done towing a car from Chicago and had to drive back home to Chicago , stopped at this McDonald's and I ordered a number 9 Qtr pounder deluxe, the bathrooms where very clean and as I ordered about 5 employees where cleaning everything like a team suppose to be doing, felt very secure eating at a McDonald's that is clean and managers are on top of it as well as the cashier who took my order, he has a great attitude and took very good pride for who he worked with and made sure I was happy with my food and order, my burger was a little cold, thinking it was sitting around for awhile and when I showed him that he was so embarrassed he grabbed and took off to the kitchen to make sure I was getting a fresh burger, wasn't his fault anyway but this guy needs a raise for being such an enthusiastic employee and an employee who cares about his work and mostly customers which you can't find anymore at a McDonald's .... I was a district operations manager for the Home Depot for 20 yrs and if my employees where like this guy, I would say Home Depot would be a much better place for me ton work than being a lousy tow truck driver This guys name is ulysis The only thing I can say is get this type of employee away from cashiering and make him a manager as soon as possible before you lose him, he can show others how to take good care of customers and how to manage customer care the first time around. read more

NEWLY RENOVATED!!! We were traveling and I had reviewed this McDonald's just last year (2018) as the most disgusting one I've been in and therefore contacted corporate about it. Now (2019), it has been totally updated and is in excellent condition! Nice job! We'll be traveling through there frequently and will definitely be stopping at this location in the future. read more

I'm in shock.I have to stand at the counter for 10 minutes just to get my order in.then I ask for a large smoothie and they give me a medium and that's the 3 time this has happened,not to mention all the workers are cussing and talking about there dirty things and they can't even clean up there lobby so the floor are just soaking wet read more

I stopped in here today and was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a listing of calorie count next to all menu items. It made it a lot easier to make an intelligent choice (as much is possible at a McDonald's) about what I was going to have for lunch. Hooray! I also noted they have, at least for the time being, a spicy chicken sandwich which is delicious. If you're a person who likes a little heat in your food and you wanna eat at McDonalds, this is a great choice. read more

This McDonalds is just another reason McDonalds is going downhill as a fast food restaurant. Untrained, unskilled workers at the front counter. Managers who can't listen to what the customer wants to order. Then serving the wrong food to the customer. Giving the customer cold fries. Then having to wait with only half our order will they attempt to correct the rest of the order. I'd avoid this McDonalds. read more

I was tired driving on 41 and stopped for a cup of coffee. After I pulled out of the McDonalds parking lot I tasted the coffee. It was room temperature. If I could give this place zero stars I would. They cannot even get a basic thing like hot coffee correct. Do not go to this McDonalds. read more

Seriously.......that glazed chicken on the menu is 5 stars. I know, I know....I'm talking about something on a fast food menu at McDonald's. in all honesty, I could see a Chinese restaurant using that glazed chicken for quite a few dishes on their menu and taking the credit for how tasty that chicken is. I bought the ten piece today, as I was running late and didn't have dinner ready. I served the glazed chicken with egg rolls (P.F. Chang's) sticky rice and there was more than enough to feed three very hungry adults. So, why is something that good on the temp menu??? Waddaya say we make room on that menu ?? Would have given them 2 stars but the staff working the registers and drive thru are friendly and nice and the food always comes out hot. I come here like 2 times a week and everytime there is something wrong. Either the ice cream machine wasnt working, they didnt have large cups, the credit card machine doesnt work, and the latest was their internet was down. The other problems i dont care too much about but the latest one was bad. Came here cuz there was a deal on the mcd app, i get there and it wasnt working. The guy at the drive thru kept trying but still didnt work. After the 3rd try the manager came to the window cuz he was looking for another employee, he was told the situation and the manger told him the internet was down. Then he just left, didnt say sorry or try anything to help or offer anything, he just walked away Maybe he should get trained by his staff cuz the guy at the drive thru did a better job apologizing for the problem than the manager did. read more

I only gave one star because I had to put something! Bottled water barely cold....makes me wonder about the milk temperature in that cooler! Fries cold order wrong then manager wants to argue what is on our try when clearly it's two burgers and we ordered one burger one chicken. Poor crew person is apologizing to every customer she waits on! And as always McD's over salting the fries...why? Because that's the only way you'll get any flavor! read more

I was in there not to long ago with two of my friends, not doing anything wrong. we walked in, ordered our food and was sitting down, eating it, still not doing anything wrong. but the manger walks up to us and told us to leave. when we asked why he just preceded to tell us to leave. we got up and walked out, not arguing at all. I called a few minutes after and asked if I could talk to the manager and I told him "hey I was just in there with a couple of my friends and I guess you kicked us out and we are good customers, I just wanted to know what your reasoning was?" and he just hung up. so I'd have to say this isn't a very good establishment. read more
