McDonald's in Kewanee Illinois has excellent service, polite, and Logan, the cashier was great as well as Lexi, the manager. They care about their customers. Haven't been to a great McDonald's in a long time. They were perfect. Clean, happy and I loved being there. Even my special request was granted to help a school in the neighborhood. I worked for McDonald's for several years in the past and of course I use their establishment. However since Roger left nothing is the same. Rude managers ridiculous staff. So many times if not always the order is wrong. I always crave to check the order because something is always missing. But today the 2 for 4 I asked for a round egg instead of a folded and was told no. That there is too much of a cost difference. And egg to substitute and egg. If they are cracking eggs for the tray of round which are fresh eggs. I'm stopping them from having to thaw out the frozen folded egg. So when I questioned it the girl who took my order said I asked a manager and we can't substitute. I said I have in the past worked for McDonald's for years and that has never been a problem she said don't know what to tell ya. I said ok cancel my order I'll go some else she says ok there's more from where you came from. So then being extremely angry call ed to talk to the manager he said I am the manager I said can you explain to me the difference between a round egg and a folded he says ahhh yeah the price. Last week we went through drive through for breakfast and ordered 4 bacon egg and cheese biscuits. At the second window I asked the lady (I think she was the manager) for some jelly. She yelled at me and said "YOU SHOULD ALWAYS ORDER CONDIMENTS WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER!" I told her when I do that it's never in the bag when I get home. As she was walking away to get the jelly I heard her say "it's never in the bag....I can't believe that!" So she slammed the jelly in my hand and as she was slamming the window shut she said "Have a good day". Have a good day? After she just out right called me a liar! Went there again yesterday and order 4 biscuits again and this time I asked for jelly at the 1st window (pay window). They were in the bag when I got home but I only got 2. Really!!!!! 2 jelly's for 4 biscuits! I will not leave drive thru next time until I have looked in my bag! read more

The level of customer service at this McDonald's is so poor. We love McDonald's coffee, but the service has gotten to the point of no return. The employees are rude and treat you like your cattle in a drive, "pull forward" is the famous words for JUST COFFEE. If you use their drive thru be prepared to wait and pull forward for everything. They do not have breakfast food ready at breakfast time again pull forward, they do not have burgers ready at lunch time again pull forward. If you are NOT looking for fast food you'll be fine because the drive thru service is so slow that you might as well stop at a restaurant. Rude service, and disorganization. The old owners would not have allowed such service to continue like this. New motto for this McDonald's, "PULL FORWARD" . We watched employees as we were PULLED FORWARD bring out 1 cup of coffee, then go back in, bring out 1 bag go back in, bring out our order then go back in. No reason for why were are all being cattle herded to the pull forward lanes and why their employees are having to run one item at a time to vehicles in the cold. Don't care about their customers, obviously no concerns for their employees going in and out in inclement conditions so just herd them up and pull them forward...... Cattle drive! read more
