I love their thin and crispy pizza. Service in Princeton is always good and they are quick with delivers and pick up orders.

Awful attitude of the employees working 5-11-2026. Andrew (poor excuse for management) gave my family a look of disgust and equally a dull deer in headlights look when we weren't even greeted when we came in. When I said there was 4 of us Andrew responded with well you know we close in like 20 minutes. We weren't even offered to order to go, Just met with what seemed like a bratty child tantrum when I asked if that was going to be a problem. So we went down the street to Pizza Hut and we were greeted immediately and sat with great customer service. Monica's should learn a thing or two from Pizza Hut. Shame. Shame. read more

I've seen a few Monical's pizza locations around Illinois and thought I'd give it a try. The restaurants are nice, well-lit and have nice waitstaff. I ordered a personal size pizza, which had a nice crust, and a good ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings. All the layers were nicely seasoned with Italian seasonings, salt and pepper. I'll definitely try their pizza again soon. read more

They were open when nobody else was!! This nice old pizza restaurant was the perfect place for my local stay just outside Princeton. It was 10 pm and all the other places were only serving drinks. I happened to be in Princeton and gave Monical's Pizza another shot. I am very glad that I did! We ordered a half baked, large (16") thin crust pizza with sausage. The gentlemen that answered the phone was very professional and did not hesitate to take our order. He even pointed out that the pizza would not be cut due to the half bake. That made complete sense and we appreciated the attention to detail. Once we got back to the Quad Cities, we cranked up our oven and finished baking the pizza on a pizza stone. Monical's Pizza makes an excellent Chicago tavern-style pizza. It's thin, crispy, and delicious! I'll be tempted to try their pan pizza on my next visit! read more

Passing through Princeton on the way home to Naperville, we stopped at Monical's for pizza today. It was the first time we've been to this restaurant. I didn't realize it's a chain restaurant mainly in central Illinois. Walking into the restaurant there's an area where you order and pay for your food at a small counter. They give you a number and you go into the restaurant and choose your own seat. A staff member will bring you your order. My husband and I each ordered a small side salad, which was cold and fresh. It had cheddar cheese, tomatoes and carrots on top. My husband and I each ordered pizzas. He had a larger thin crust sausage pizza and I made my own small veggie pizza with spinach, mushrooms, and black olives. We ordered our pizzas to be cooked crispy. I like that they had a chart to show you the different levels of doneness on their crusts. The crust was cooked perfectly crispy when it was delivered to our table, just like in the photo. It was piping hot when it came to the table which I loved. I was so surprised how good this pizza was. I can honestly say this is the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. Tammy took care of us by bringing our food and drinks to our table and checking on us. She was very friendly and engaging. It was a pleasure to have her wait on us. I could tell she liked what she did and that she really cared that her customers had a good experience. She's a definite asset to this restaurant. I'd definitely go back if I was ever in the area again just to have this thin crust pizza. I recommend stopping at this restaurant and giving their pizza a try. You won't be sorry. read more

Ok guys if you even look in this direction let me give you some advice. Don't buy the hot wings...i only got a tingly hot feel around my lips and that was after 10 minutes of finishing my ladt wing...another thing i don't like chicken baked.i should of took pics they were white in color almost raw and i don't like it because it has that rubbery feel when you bite into,they don't know what hot wings is.i got 10x better hot wing at a Chinese take out...i also order a small 8 inch pie and added ground beef look at thepicsi took those after putting Parmigiano cheese on it...i never seen a ripoff before look at the pics...12 regular wing cause they were not hot and that little pie almost 22dollars..its worth 10dollars..thats why i will not be ordering again....so sad....i am trk driver i pasd thru all the time base out ft.wayne and i am going to order elsewhere i will keep in touch. But the experience was far from perfect after me and my friends left we experienced horrible stomach pains, when we got home we all had diarrhea. This is hands-down, my favorite pizza place in Princeton. When we go, we'll usually get the Family special with salad, pizza and breadsticks. The simple, huge salad bowl to start off the meal somehow elevates the meal from "just pizza" to awesomeness. Included, you'll also get squirt bottles of dressing. Remember to save these for later so that you can squirt Ranch and French Dressing on the ultra-thin and cheesy pizza. Thankful for a pizza place in the area that has GF crust, I was so excited to visit Monical's. The GF crust wasn't bad, but the pizza itself was just depressing. The sauce is too sweet for my taste, and the toppings were clearly pulled straight out of a can. There was zero artistry and even less wowing of the taste buds.
