First, to get it out of the way, the employees are generally OK. Not great but not bad, so that's good. The real problem is ridiculously high prices and the lack of 2 for $X deals that many other locations have for breakfast items. This location is incredibly greedy. The other problem is that they can be really slow. There is almost no point to mobile ordering (other than trying to use deals to bring the price down to something SLIGHTLY more reasonable) when you still have to wait 10 minutes for simple orders. Often, when going through the drive-thru to pick up a mobile order, they'll have me park and wait, even when there's no car behind me. It just makes it less convenient, and whenever they ask me to do that, I know I'm going to have to wait for 8-10 minutes. Mind you, this is not during busy peak times. Side note: One time, I ordered the Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy (which is now gone) and they forgot to put bacon on it...It's like one of six ingredients total. This wasn't even during a busy period. Mistakes happen, but it's frustrating when prices are high and the food isn't even very fast anymore. In fact, wait times are always the longest when it comes to chicken sandwiches. At least they tasted fresh. I just don't know why they can't be faster when prices are that high. Complete Management Nightmare We frequently order McDonald's via food delivery service. This evening we decided to save the money and drive there. We ended up going in my two sons and I at about 7pm on Friday. The place was a ghost town. I did notice that the entire restaurant was completely filthy with leftover food wrappers on about 90% of the tables. We found a table that looked empty in the corner and sat down. I watched numerous food delivery drivers come in, 3 other customers that came and went and a slew of customers via drive though. I encouraged my children to be patient at 6 & 9 is hard to when waiting for dinner. After about 25 min I notice them looking at me from the counter as if something was wrong. I finally approached the counter and the lady asks me if I was waiting for food. I replied yes for a half and hour. She proceeds to turn around and place my order with the cooks. No explanation, just proceeded to carry on. Then a young man looked at me and said oh we made a mistake. We are making your order now. At that point I just asked for a refund. Got my refund and offered to pay for the sodas we drank while waiting. Moral of the story is the management obviously does not care about how this place looks, let alone customer service. Go elsewhere or pay a delivery fee cause that's 45min of my evening I won't get back may have been smart to just stay home. What a disappointment for Ladera Ranch. read more

Ok first time doing a mobile order. I placed the order at 1125 for a 1145 pick up. Went to pick up order wasnt ready so i had to go park in reserve spot. Okay no big deal. 12:00 still no food. Whenever I go to a McDonald's I usually expect the food I get to be consistent - especially the fries. This branch has got to be the most inconsistent one of the bunch. We live nearby so we tend to go to this location, and I swear, we get good fries maybe 30% of the time. Other times it's undercooked or not salted enough. Wow they remodeled this place and it looks really nice! Stroopwafel McFlurry: Sooooo freaking good. The stroopwafel bits have that light caramel flavor with a dash of cinnamon. Ughhh. I tried the caramel by itself and it's not as sweet and milky as other caramels which I super love. This is one of the nastiest, dirtiest McDonalds' in Orange County. They won't clean the soda machine for MONTHS (yes, months!) so it tastes like fermented dog piss. They are lazy and incompetent. The food often (like 9 out of 10 times) takes 15-25 minutes. They never apologize for anything - just act stupid. There's always something to say about McDonald's... This one is on customer service. I did the McOrder on the app and parked curbside. I ordered 2 meals with drinks and some chicken nuggets. Within 5 minutes the food was already being delivered. The guy who brings the food noticed that the straws were missing and recommended I check the bag to make sure the order was good to go while he went in to get the straws. So let's just level set here first - this review is purely for the facilities, location, overall service and play are of this location. You either like McD's food or you're disgusted by it. As for myself, I don't love McD's food (with the exception of their fries) however I just can't pass up on the nostalgia of taking my toddler here to get her Happy Meals. I love this location for its huge play area (keep in mind jay it's basically used as an indoor public park, so don't expect the cleanliness of a pre-school, so play at your own risk). Having said that, my child loves going here, the staff is friendly, the food is what you would expect, but the bonus is all of the friends she makes when we dine in.
