I'm somewhat of a regular here and I like the food, service, and dining area here, I want to actually share a story about an incident that took place here yesterday. I brought my little son to get a burrito and their curly fries. As usual, we enjoyed our food. But as we were eating, an elderly lady came walking in and unfortunately fell near the cash register. When I walked over with my son to see if any assistance was needed, I saw that the employees were already helping her. The lady had fallen and struck her head. One employee was sitting on the ground holding the lady the way a daughter would hold her own mother. The other employees were checking on the lady and making sure emergency responders were on their way. The kindness with which these people responded was something I am glad my son was able to witness. Yes, the food here is great. The people are even better. read more

This place is fantastic! The service was friendly and quick. The burgers were delicious and full. The portions of fries were excellent. And the drink choices were fantastic. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. We ordered: Cowboy Burger with curly fries and a small drink + Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger with regular fries and a small drink. Total came out to about $37. Not bad. The only thing we would have changed was getting regular fries. They weren't great so we wish we had upgraded to one of their other types of fries. Came here after recommendations from a few friends. Showed up around 11:30am on a Sunday. The place was busy, but still able to find a place to park, order and sit. Breakfast is served until 2pm, so Jen ordered a Denver omelet and I opted for the Veggie omelet, both of us chose hash browns and sourdough toast as our sides. First and foremost, with all the foot traffic this place has, they keep this place extremely clean. All tables bussed quickly and the floor was immaculate. This is such a welcome site and greatly appreciated. When the food arrived, we were both amazed at the portion sizes. Jen commented that she will get three meals out of hers, while I think mine will be gone in two. Taste was excellent. The sourdough toast was prepared the best of any breakfast place I can remember. They butter it for you and if they put a little extra on it, I vow to simply enjoy it and workout a bit more this week. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and with such an extensive menu, I know we will be back many more times. This place is now my recommendation. read more

When I picked up my food, none of the dressings were in the bag. When I showed her my receipt and asked for my dressings, she refused to give me the dressings and said that they are actually $.75. I was already charged and paid $.47 for each dressing and she refused to give them to me. I didn't get a refund either. Absolutely ridiculous it's not my fault that your website has the wrong pricing on it. I want a refund for items I never received. read more

Firstly, I really want to give this place a five star review. I been here a few times and thought I should update the review, because of the new consistency. This morning while ordering breakfast here - It's interesting to view a huge plate full of bacon already cooked! I've been here 15 minutes so I know it's been there for a while, if not cooked to order that's for sure. Additionally, It's almost almost 9 AM, last time I was here for breakfast was 10 minutes after they opened, and the potatoes, that were the side to my omelette, they were not cooked all the way, so now I wait a bit I don't go first thing in the morning here. Furthermore, The prices are great, and it looks like they're taking care of the eating area by keeping it a bit cleaner. it was going just a tad downhill prior. So I took my food to go and happily said, thank you. The two ladies did not respond back, or give eye contact they're just that way. it seems like there's always two individuals there that look like it's their first day there. Interesting clientele here too. Also funny to see one of the managers or leads in the back, sitting down all by himself in the corner, eating breakfast. I was craving hash browns that morning and this place has really crispy hash browns without being too oily. We got the country fried chicken with hash browns and it was enough for 2 people. The steak was ok but the hash browns really hit the spot for me. You order at the counter, find a table, and they bring the food out to you. Food is usually good, we usually get burgers and fries and while they may not be our favorite they definitely hit the spot. Their south of the border options were not the best, probably would not get their carne asada options again. However, what really makes me not want to return here is the service. I like ranch, not like absurd amounts but I like to get a ranch with my fries and burger. When you order online through their website you can select a dipping sauce with an order of fries. So my wife and I would usually order a ranch, that according to the order page, should be included with each $6 order of fries. When I get to the place to pick it up, sometimes its included and sometimes I am told that you only get one ranch per entire order - which I then have to go through the hassle of explaining thats not what the order form online says. I honestly have no issue paying for extra ranches, which I have before and then got double the amount of ranch I didnt need because they decided that the order form was correct that time. The inconsistency is infuriating and all they would have to do is update the online form, but they won't. If a lady with colored contacts is giving you your order, double check your ranches. Solid, reliable, and popular spot not just for burgers, but for Mexican food and breakfast plates, too. Angelo's is a chain restaurant. I have only been to this location, which looks well run. My husband and I are fans of the cheese quesadilla and you can see in my photo how the tortilla has been made crispy. The small is not what I consider small - it's shareable, in my opinion. I'm also a fan of their chili cheese fries, a savory fried treat for me, which also seems to be a good enough quantity for more than one person to eat. The other day I went there to order my usual Breakfast Burrito. The girl at the register, short, long hair in a ponytail, told me you have to order burritos online. Since I didn't have my phone, I said, "So I have to drive all the way home, get on my computer, order my burrito, pay for it online from home, and then drive back to pick it up from you?" " She replied YES. I was so confused I thought maybe she was just being funny. NO, she was not; she made the same comment to me three times. As I stood there speechless, she took the man behind me, ordered, and he ordered a burrito. I hope the owner or manager reads this because the people working in this establishment should be retrained. I do a lot of catering from you, and my family loves it, but we never went back after and found a new caterer for the events we do. To be fair I like to rate Diner places like this with a bit of a bias because we know the food will never be comparable to something offered in a high end restaurant, AND the decor will never win a Restaurant & Bar Design award....But what they do offer is great food at the price point of which good cheap food should be! (Does that even make sense?!?) For $12, you get a flat top burger and a huge order of fries and a drink. There are no preservatives like your local fast food joint. Cooked to order so it's fresh AF. And that is a Junior Burger! A real $6 Burger! Oh. Manzanita Sol? Win. Service was great. Always helpful, always chipper. The interior is kept clean, though the seats are a bit worn. But remember, ITS A DINER! I've had their pastrami burger, and want to try their other items because I've heard/seen the portions are crazy! Oh, wow...I REALLY like this place. Today I ordered a combo with a steak sandwich and fried zucchini and both of these items delighted all of my senses. It's a huge meal, sufficient for most people to share with someone else. Since I was alone, I ended up taking more than half of it with me. The zucchini is very lightly coated and cut into coins as opposed to spears or straws of zucchini. They give you an ample-sized portion of ranch dressing to go with it that's very delicious and it's just altogether perfect. The steak sandwich was so tasty, but definitely had a lot of mayo and American cheese on it that I would probably limit next time; maybe light mayo and no cheese because it's just a big juicy steak sandwich without those additional calories. I wasn't sure what to expect before coming in, but I definitely was surprised by how impressed I was with the food and the service. The portion sizes are generous for the price. I tried the single cheeseburger ($7.49), which had a nice charred flavor and came loaded with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The Fried Zucchini ($8.49) and Onion Rings ($8.49) were also delicious and served in large portions. Even though the batter is made with cornmeal--which doesn't reheat well at home--they were still great when eaten fresh at the restaurant. Here are the pros: Their menu consists of Char Burgers (which I got their bacon cheeseburger with avocado) and made it into a combo for an addition price. They also sell chicken asada fries as well as chicken fries which they call "meat" fries. This time I opted for their fried zucchini for a "healtheir" option. This place definitly has hearty comfort food with large portions, easy to split between two meals. Here are the cons: Dirty restrooms. Tables often are not cleaned up and sticky. That is why I always call ahead now and take my food to go. Prices for my burger combo was around $22. Cost for fried zucchini is around $11. Juicy with a really nice crunch on the bacon. There was a very decent serving of avocado, which I loved. It was a but on the wet side thanks to mainly the 1000 island dressing. But the whole burger was very good. The onion rings, on the other hand, were quite bland. They were huge and had a nice, even layer of batter on them, but I found myself wanting more flavor. We came here on a Friday evening. Parking was good. Everything looked clean. Staff were polite and helpful when we ordered at the counter. Our food was delivered quickly to our table. My wife had steak fajitas. They were still sizzling after they were delivered to our table. Rice, beans, toppings, tortillas and a huge platter of steak and grilled veggies. So much food. She said that it was a great tasting dish. I had the Chili Verde for the first time. The first bite was a bit off-putting. The meat seemed a bit off. Then I realized that most of the pieces of meat had a large amount of fat on them. I tried to trim off the fat as I ate the meat. The Verde sauce in this dish kind of shimmered from all the fat. There were beans, rice and tortillas accompanying this. The beans and tortillas were good. The rice was just ok. One of the workers was walking by. I asked him to come over and pointed to a large glob of fat on my plate. I told him that my food had lots of fat in it. He did not say anything. My wife then raved about how wonderful her fajitas were. I am not sure if he related my dissatisfaction to anyone but nobody came to our table to talk to me. I was very dissatisfied. read more

Lorenzo is one of the best servers you will ever encounter. He makes the experience so much more enjoyable with his attentiveness and kindness. He makes great eye contact and he is genuinely glad to serve you. Today I tried the Chicken Club sandwich for the first time and it was the best because the chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned with pepper and onion ( at least that's what I tasted). They care to ask if I want onion on the chili cheese fries which prompted me to ask for onion on the side, grilled. Awesome service, and the best part is that they didn't 'force' you to give tips upon ordering and paying at the counter.
