I stopped this morning for a quick bite to eat, ordering three Sausage McMuffins and two large Cokes. The order was verbally repeated back accurately but didn't appear on the screen nor was I told how much it'd be. Upon arriving at the first window I was told the amount and paid. Of course, there was no receipt offered. We pulled forward to receive our order and were handed the two Cokes and a bag with only two sandwiches. When mentioned we ordered three the person looked at us like we had two heads, turned around to consult someone else then returned to us sand said we'd only ordered two. Now, I'm pretty sure I ordered three and the person who took my order confirmed that. Let me check my receipt to see how many I was charged for. Oh, wait. There is no receipt. We weren't offered a third sandwich and left not knowing or having a record if we were charged for two or three. read more

They don't care about the customer only their time it's ridiculous , they pull you up for you to wait for your food,! The food will be done and ready and they take forever to bring it out just because they're stuck talking! So lazy and do this to often smfh. The service is terrible here. The food sucks as well. Avoid this McDonald's if you can. They will have you sit and wait in the drive-through line for over half an hour for a double cheeseburger. I can't wait until they're all Replaced by AI robots because they would do a way better job. read more

Took several minutes waiting in the drive thru for us to be acknowledged. Then a harsh voice popped on and said they "have a something dance which do you want to try it?" Nope! We'd like to have an Oreo McFlurry please! Annnnnnd they have **wait for it** a DOWN ICE CREAM MACHINE. I wish I had looked at the reviews here before we got off of the highway. OH! And the highway sign lied. When you get off of the highway, you have to go left of you will be driving disappointedly in the wrong direction. They need to fix their signs. And honestly, we had to do I think another left then a right and it was down a ways. McDonald's franchises should all invest in a second ice cream machine since they are always down. Ok so after the 30 minute detour on what would only have been a 2 hour drive....my advice just wait for the Golden Arches that you can see with your own eyes on the side of the highway. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE One of my parents ordered a mobile pick up order on the app and we had someone go pick it up and they said they didn't have the order. We told them the order number and they said they couldn't see it even though it was ordered to that SPECIFIC McDonalds. They then said they couldn't give us the order because we didn't have the phone that we used to order it from because apparently they track your location and even if you pick a different McDonalds, the order still goes to the McDonald's closest to the phone it was ordered from. They then said they need the phone it was ordered from even though we had the order number and order receipt. So I'm not sure why they have a order number when they won't even look it up and make themselves useful. ALL THE WORKERS AT THAT MCDONALDS WERE SHITTY AS HELL AND NOT HELPFUL. read more

Today is my birthday and my wife placed a order for delivery through Grubhub ( also terrible service always missing items ) and to our surprise ( sarcasm) the order was wrong once again. It really wasn't a complicated order. A big breakfast meal, two sausage egg and cheese sandwiches, three hash browns, one coffee and two orange juices not complicated at all you would think. This McDonald's really needs to get a wake up call by corporate. If you look at the reviews from this McDonald's they are so bad it's surprising that they are still in business. The food was cold since I watched it sit there in front of me for 15 minutes. Staff members were working hard to clean the building during the morning rush hour? Maybe that explains the delay. The clerk at the register was doing the best she could; so when she went to the back to fill an order and I asked a supervisor to just please hand me my bag, I wasn't pleased to get a supersized helping of her unhelpful attitude. This is after the app cuts out before completing the transaction and I have to walk inside to find out what's going on. Thank God the order screens don't work so I can't see what's going on. But all of the equally underserved guests had a much better attitude about this than I did. Their positive attitudes were the best part of the visit. read more

Worst customer service and food is always cold and tastes awful. Don't waste your money or time at this location. One on 98 north or even the one on I-4 and 98 have better customer service and food. I typically never have any problems coming through this McDonald's on walt loop and N Socrum until today. I went through the drive thru and the customer service was eh for me and when I got my triple cheeseburger no mustard I opened the wrapper and the outside of my bread was hard with the inside being a little soft. The cheese was cd and wasn't melted at all. The only parts that tasted good were the condiments and the patties. Again I typically don't have problems at this one. Any or times my food is completely hot with soft buns. I have always preferred going to this one rather than the one on 98 N, but I felt my opinion needed to be heard with this experience. read more

I travel a lot around Lakeland for work and frequent different McDonald's, but this one is the ROCK bottom of service. Consistently slow every time I go no matter how crowded it is. I don't know who's working in there but man they are just not getting it done read more

The absolute slowest service I have ever experienced at any "fast food" restaurant. I live here locally and there is consistently. Day after day. And at all times of the day, a half hour line wrapped around the building.. I would understand a one off or if it was during rush hours. The staff at this McDonald's is very friendly. However sometimes the drive thru is backed up and slow. Even for simple orders it sometimes takes a while. McDonald's sometimes has great deals going on with their drinks. I wish they would bring back the pick 2 for $3.00 deal. If you are looking for fast food this is one of the better options in the area. However be prepared to maybe wait a little bit for your food. read more

Every time we come here at night it takes them about a good minute to even acknowledge that I'm waiting to order & it wasn't till i got home and i had no fries. This is not like other McDonald's. It is very dirty, the service is slow, and my kiddo got a stomachache after eating here. The alarms on the food service machines were going off the entire time, and the phone rang several times and went unanswered on two different instances during our 15 minute visit. Nothing has changed here. Slow and dirty inside. Food on the floor. Floor was wet near drink machines as well as counters. Tables and seats dirty and full of salt. Windows filthy. After three months, McDonalds must still be enforcing their rule that forbids night shift personnel from cleaning the eating areas. We ordered a McRib, nuggets and fries, and asked for honey mustard dipping sauce and it appeared on the order board, but when we got home it wasn't there. McDonald's used to have the best fries around, but they seem smaller now and they were cold and limp. The stores have really gone downhill. read more

Horrible service the recipe paper for the "fast & easy" kiosk was out, had to go to the front counter and wait to get a receipt for 15 minutes and then got attitude when asking the manager a question. then, we went to get our beverages and the soft drinks were flat and the sweet tea was moderately okay. Before sitting down at our table we had to wipe it down ourselves. We also never got welcomed into the store and felt like a burden. The one person working told us they are busting their butt to leave... so a half ass job will cut it. i guess so... disappointing. read more
