Using the app you can get a breakfast sandwich, hash round, and drink for around $5. Lunch there is usually a deal in the app where you can get a full meal for under $10 1/29 - gave me the incorrect item. Always order a sausage McGriddle got a sausage McMuffin in my bag instead. First time this has happened They are really on their game here getting out orders. The food quality is average for what you expect out of a McDonald's. They can be pretty busy at lunch time but they move quickly to get the drive through line quickly. I rarely have to wait in the morning when I go through the drive through. THIS MCDONALDS WILL TOW THEIR CUSTOMERS CARS!! BEWARE!!!!! We ate at the McDonalds and carpooled to Faribault. NEVER planning on leaving our cars there overnight but to pick them up on our way home which we attempted to do. Only to come back and both of our cars being towed. It clearly states in their parking lot no more than 12 Hour parking in a 48 hour period. Our cars were parked there for 8 1/2 hours so I am not sure why they would tow a patrons car. The parking lot property manager "Tony" stated that the 12 hour parking is for Semi's only, when the sign clearly DOES NOT state "Semi's only". I have a picture to prove it. I asked him where it says that on the sign because it DOES NOT SAY THAT. He stated in a text message that it does not need to say "Semi's only". He is extremely rude and hung the phone up on me on two separate occasions when I asked "what company do you work for?" so I could speak to his manager and put in a complaint to his boss. Come to find out from Randy the Association Manager that all Tony does for the association is tow cars. Tony does not have a company that he works for apparently and I was also told by Randy that he is not paid by the association or any of the businesses at the association and is paid per tow. I was not told who actually pays Tony, so I am confused on who Tony even is if he is not paid by the association. So, he is just sitting there and towing these companies' paying patrons to get paid. Because of Tony, McDonalds has lost a customer for life. I will never eat at ANY McDonalds because of this, and I am now boycotting every restaurant that is part of this association. read more

This place could've been so great. I was surprised upon entering when I saw that there were 3 self serve kiosks and only one person at the counter working a old fashioned register. There was a line of 15 people at the register and I couldn't understand why. Thinking I was being smart I ordered at the Kiosk. Only to find out you still have to then go to the register and pay their as the Credit Card system was down. I waited in line behind nearly 2" people because while I wasted my time at the kiosk more people showed up. I eventually got there and ordered. After waiting. 20 minutes we finally got our food and the order was wrong. I went up to the register and they corrected it. Literally the only reason we chose McDonald's was because you know what your getting, fast food at a great price with great service and great quality. This McDonald's location did none of that. We had a fine time here. We had a very young man who smiled when he took our order. We got our food fast. It was what we ordered. The place was clean, even the bathroom. The floors could've been mopped but hey, February in Minnesota. Oh and newly remodeled, very bright and fun. read more

Again another weird review, I know it's not normal to review a McDonalds but my experience was so bad I had to do it. My husband and I were starving driving down 35W so we stopped at McDonalds on the way to my parents. It was busy so we were prepared for a bit of a wait in the drive thru. After ordering 20 min later we STILL had not received our food, I went in and asked what the issue was, they RUDELY said "we're working on it". It finally came out another few minutes later with nothing but a half hearted apology. You'll probably ask why we waited so long, hunger was the motivating factor! It's pretty hard for me to give a McDonald's anything lower than two stars or anything higher than three stars. The truth is that I will probably never be a "fan" of McDonalds, but I will also probably always get exactly what I expected and what I payed for. What I payed for here was a cheap snack and a restroom. Both made me feel unclean (whether literally or figuratively). This McDonald's is not a fast food restaurant!! It took 20 minutes to get two happy meals and a chicken sandwich. They were out of straws. the bathroom was completely out of toilet paper in the stalls and most of it was on the floor. It was filthy and had not been cleaned. Went to the drivethru at 12:30pm and asked for a shake, they told us their machine was shut off after 11:30. We asked if any nearby stores still had theirs on and she informed us no they all shut down at that time. We called the Apple Valley store who was happy to announce their machine and many others stay on until 1:30. read more

As far as McDonald's goes, this one's a step above their other sister stores. The McStop staff are super friendly and fast. The chicken nuggets are always good, not the hit or miss nuggets you risk at other stores. Great Iced Tea, and that's no joke, it's always fresh, just like their salads and burgers. Just went through drive thru! What a nightmare missing 2 quarter pounders I got 3 cold fries even when asked to pull up to wait for fresh ones and missing 2 chicken sandwiches with extra lettuce. I am not impressed with this McDonald's because my coffee taste like water. My six piece chicken tenders Was more like a four piece. It look like it was cut in half. My chicken tenders came late and they were burnt. They didn't have any chocolate ice cream! They didn't even bring my drink when they gave me my order. Where do I even begin? I know, I know. McDonald's is unhealthy and you shouldn't expect much, but I have been to my share of McDonald's restaurants ALL OVER THE WORLD (I used to travel for a living) and I can honestly say that I have NEVER had such a mortifying experience in my life. I stopped in today for a quick lunch because of time constraints and the area I was in didn't have much else to offer. I walked in and there was a line out the door. They only had one register open and the poor kid stationed there was brand new. He kept messing up orders and when he'd ask for help, his managers would get publicly irritated with him and then just walk away. When I FINALLY got my order, half of it was missing. I went to fill up my cup and there was black mold all over the ice dispenser and dried/sticky syrup splashed ALL OVER the soda towers. The ketchup dispenser had caked on and dried ketchup all over and the floors were littered with food and waste debris. I had to clean off my own table and when I finally opened the wrapper to my cheeseburger, it was cold and such a sloppy mess I couldn't eat it. I requested from one of the "managers" a new, warm burger and she rolled her eyes and acted like I was "putting her out". She finally came to my sticky table with the "new burger" and I mentioned to her that there was mold all over the ice dispenser and she quickly jumped to the excuse that they've just been really busy today. I told her that mold doesn't grow in a day and that the machines are obviously not being cleaned nightly like they should be and that it is a health concern. She threw her hands up at me and raised her voice saying, "They ARE washed nightly. But, I WILL LOOK INTO IT!". Then she walked away shaking her head. My entire time there, she never once even looked in the direction of the soda and ice dispensers. I saw her a few times giving her staff irritated glances and looking at me sideways. Super professional. Hahaha I also love the fact that none of the managers wear name tags or are willing to give up their names so that specific employee complaints can't be made. She was a short little snot that should not be working as a manager. She should be fired on the spot. Horrible, horrible, horrible! I came home and almost wanted to swallow peroxide. SUPER disgusted. I have been to this McD's about 4 times, each time thinking it has to get better...it does not. If I go through the drive-thru I always have to pull aside to wait for something, usually something like fries that should be ready and waiting. No it has never been busy, yes they are always slow, and the employees can be difficult to understand. My top rated bad experience here happened last week around 10:30 pm. My husband and I decided to stop here while we were waiting for a family member to arrive at the airport. There were only 2 people working which is fine that close to closing. I ordered 2 pies, and was told they were out of apple pies. Fine. I asked if they had pumpkin and was told yes, they did. Then he said he had to go check. He came back looking a little uneasy and said "Yes, we have 2... available, do you want them?" I thought this was strange considering I had already ordered them. He went in the back and finished our order. We took it to the table and noticed he had taken the date and time stickers off the pies... they were EXPIRED and the still sold them to me! The ridiculous thing was he didn't even tear them off cleanly, he left part of the stickers on there so it was quite obvious what he did. This particular McD's also advertises they accept competitors coupons and had an example of a certain coupon ad they accept. I took this exact ad in and the cashier had no idea how to do the coupons and way overcharged me, even asking the manager for help twice. read more

I like McDonald's better than the other fast-food places. I have also found them to be remarkably uniform in the way they prepare the food - the french fries are crisp, chicken sandwich crisp and reasonably tasty, etc. -- except for this McDonald's. I stop at their drive-thru at night only because of its location, because I have had an astonishing number of goofs and bad food - french fries that were lukewarm at best, sometimes undercooked, and either no salt or so much salt you could hardly eat them, sometimes with oil that tasted rancid (I've never had any of this at other McD's); twice I ordered chicken sandwiches and found a hamburger instead in the bag (this is a small order - sandwich and fries); about half the time they forget napkins, which isn't cool if you're eating in your car, and, as others have mentioned, the wait can be long (it isn't always). It is so hit and miss (mostly miss) that I had to post my first-ever complaint about a fast-food place - they need some serious quality control. The one positive is that the employees are usually very pleasant. I do wonder about whoever is cooking the food, though. read more

Worst McDonald's ever. Go to the next exit don't waste your time at this one. You pull up to the drive thru, they don't talk to you , not even when you talk to the speaker and ask if anyone is there. They don't take your order, You then go to the next window as the instructions state in the sign and? no one is there, you go to the next window and then they give you hell and tell you to drive around again because you are holding up their line?!?! When they were the ones that didn't take your order? Unbelievable?!? The night manager is completely useless, didn't even explain why they didn't take orders for multiple cars. Even when they take the order, it's rarely correct. Why go through a drive through when you have to get out of the car anyway to get your order correct. Skip this one, you'll find another one in a few exits either way. Total waste of time and not worth the energy expended on them. Don't bother talking to their management, he's the one that told me to drive around again and refused to take the order for those of us they missed. read more

Bad service and the food was below McDonald standards. I got the totally wrong order but we didnt' realize it until we were back on 35W. Called and I was told they'd send me some gift cards - two weeks later. I have nothing. We make that run along 35W often in the summer, next time, we'll eat something else. I was appalled at the management of this McDonalds. We were the only car in the drive thru and had to drive up to window to make sure there were employees in there. Drove back through the drive through and had to honk to get someone to respond. Took 25 minutes to get our food and then two of the items we ordered were wrong. I walked inside and asked for the manager. I explained the poor service and wrong order and he replied, so you need a cheeseburger then. I then asked for his name since he wasn't wearing a name tag and he told me I needed to leave. He then told me I was trespassing since the store was closed and only drive thru open. I told him the doors were unlocked and open. He told me again I was trespassing and if I didn't leave he was calling the police. I have never been treated so rudely by a manager. This place has terrible customer service and I would highly encourage you to find a different place to eat!! If I could give this place zero stars I would!! read more

Here is what I have to say about this McDonald's. I think that I feel bad for the employee's that work that there. Every Sunday we go here after a Vikings game and EVERY Sunday they are so short staffed it's crazy. They have about 3 people trying to serve 100. And of course we all can see that and still some people have the NERVE to complain about the lobby being messy. I felt so sorry for the lady on Sunday I took a clean rag and wiped off a few tables for her. She was really rushing to make sure that everyone was taken care of and they got their food fast and correct and than to have someone stop her for this. My heart went out to her. I think the manager-he was in black so I am assuming he was- looked like he could care less about what was going on. He literally walked around doing nothing. He did not help with service or food.
