Welcome to McDonald's? Nope! I was greeted by a very rude tone. I'm not even kidding. The staff was very unprofessional. I was at the drive-thru and was first stiffed 25 cents by the the cashier, change was 88 cents but was given 63 cents. Secondly, the person who took the order did not ask for my code on the app and by their advert we were entitled to a free cookie. Upon getting to the window and inquiring about the cookie, we were told that the person requested for the code before taking our order making us liars. This was quite upsetting because my daughter brought it to my knowledge. I gave the code at the end of the order and when asked if they could rewind the recording of the order, they stated there was no record kept. Bloody bad service and customer care!!! I've been to 2 McDonald's near my home and their service disappointed me. Their service was extensive but not perfect. The first one is in central ave largo. I ordered a cup of coffee for morning. They didn't let us choose whether we wanted sugar or milk. I just ordered it. When I took it out, I saw that there was no milk or sugar. I asked them to get it. Their service said why didn't you say it in advance? No. The second time I went to order, I asked for a bag, but when they brought it out, there was a bag. This was not what I wanted, but the waitress was long-winded, meaning that I didn't ask for a bag, but they brought it and she gave it to me directly. But her tone was very bad, so I said if you need 10 cents, I can give it to you. After hearing this, she left immediately. I was speechless and confused. It was a rainy day today (3/5/24). I went to another restaurant at 1030 largo rd. I ordered some breakfast for curbside pick up. A young boy gave me my meal and I said "good morning"to him. He didn't reply and asked me directly why are you doing this for curbside pick up on a rainy day? This attitude is very bad. Then I wanted to call the store and report this to the manager. A Spanish woman answered the phone and she couldn't understand what I was saying so I asked to speak to someone who knew English and she hung up the phone twice. This MickeyD's is the best of the 2 within a mile of home. I'm not sure why their rating is so low here because the line is always wrapped around the building... just like at Chik-fil-A. All I can say is every time I go... I can always expect my fries, most importantly, and food to be piping hot. And the staff is typically polite so... I'm loving it. read more

This McDonald's is extremely rude. I had a manager who went back and forth, toe-to-toe with me, in the drive through. I ordered, via mobile pay. After telling the employee, at the window, I had a mobile order and giving her my code, she said to pull up to the 1st window. As I approached the 1st window, no one was there. Once I got to the 2nd window, there were 3 females standing there. One of them asked if I had a DoorDash order. I explained that I had mobile pay and was told to pull up the 1st window. A dark skinned female with a shirt afro, started telling me that someone was at the 1st window. I told her that no one was there when I pulled up. She said 2 more times that someone WAS at that window. I began to get angry and said that no one was at the f#%^*?! window and stop calling me a liar. She continued on with her rant and approaching the window to say what she had already said before. I told her that she was a bad employee and if she's the manager, it makes it worse. One of the female employees said that "Yes, she's the manager". I told her that she is a rude and very bad manager. She says that she didn't care if she was a manager or a good manger; She doesn't give a f#%^. I told her that she shouldn't work the public with such attitude and should think about going home for the day. She continued to run up to the window and say that I'm dropping the "F" word on her. I said that I agree that I used such language because you called me a liar, 3 times. She continued to say that there was someone at the 1st window. Then her employees started holding her back. I advised them to let her go and let her do what she feel she need to do. I was on a long distance call with my mom. My mom asked, "Who is being so rude?" I replied, "She's an African female and they always tend to be rude." Because I date an African, I can attest to how the African culture over talk others. Then she said I was racist. I told her that she is rude and is not conscious of it. I tried to explain that I'm not racist but just pointed out the obvious. She began to yell that she is a proud African. I told her she should be proud and never be ashamed but just work on your rudeness. She still didn't want to give me my food. The other employee said that I didn't pay for my mobile order; I showed her that I did. She still didn't want to give me my order. I was speaking slowly and in a low tone, that I've shown you that I paid and I want my food. The manager continued to run to the window and yell and said I said "F" it and I told her that I never said that but did say that "no one was at the f$&?#%* window". She said I didn't say that and still carried on with I'm a racist and used the "F" word. Then, she says that people say that no one is at the 1st window all the time and just drive up to the 2nd window. Finally, I was given my food. The manager ran back up to the window and said you got your food so what are you still doing here?! I said I was just given my food and I can sit where I want to sit. Staff needs customer service training......took my daughter there yesterday evening to get a McDouble and fry.......the sandwich was hard and fries were salty......also, the young lady shoved me my food and slam the sliding door in my face......no thank you or anything. You have a lot of diverse people working here, they need to learn basic common customer services skills, such as how to greet a customer properly. The morning crew is a just a little nicer......not feeling this location anymore You need to yell your drive thru staff to be more professional and not literally through the food at you and tried to push you out before you can check your food. Also, if I ask for cream, sugar, and jelly what's the big deal about the amount......it belongs to the corporation not the staff. The language barrier is terrible as well. A quarter of my drink done spilt in the bag, leaving it so wet it almost bust and my food would've spilled out. Sucks bricks!!! Went yesterday after church service...ordered a sausage egg mcmuffin meal...they forget the damn sausage. Went the following day (only because my daughter was hungry after class). Ordered 2 sausage egg mcmuffin meals and 1 bacon egg and cheese meal. The got the drinks right...but the food wrong. Gave me 2 quarter pounder meals. WTF!?! Has really gone down hill! Growing up, this used to be a pretty decent McDonald's! I don't know what happened but the service has become terrible. I'll never forget the time where I ordered breakfast and changed my mind about something that I wanted and the drive thru worker took a nasty tone with me over the speaker. When I pulled up to the window, I gave her the money and she told me the amount of change that I was due but I didn't hear her the first time. So naturally, I asked her if she could repeat what she said and she spoke really slow to me and started counting the change to me coin by coin. I looked at her like she was crazy and told her that wasn't necessary and pulled up to the next window. The first opportunity I got I reported the incident and then like a week later the regional manager called me. He apologized and implied that this wasn't the first complaint that he received and he would see to it that she was fired. Another time, I ordered a coffee and when I got back to the office I noticed it was creamer already mixed into it with something white floating in it. Every time I've been to this place they've managed to get some part of my order wrong. Living and working in the area I frequent this McDonalds and the only time things go right is when the white manager is working. That's when the customer service and speed of service is at or above par. They call it fast food for a reason. The time they take on most occasions is sad. Then you get to the window to get your order and its wrong...or they're missing the straws and napkins or you have the wrong order or they forgot your fries. Really!!! This place moves extremely slow and ALWAYS has a long line. I purposely drive to another location even though this one is walking distance.

Just left this location. I asked for fresh coffee with my cream and sugar on the side. Of course they got the order wrong and still had to brew fresh coffee. The young lady made the coffee but did not rinse out the coffee pot and brewed fresh coffee onto the pot that still had old coffee in it. I normally do not go to this mcdonalds after 11am but I wanted coffee and a fish sandwich. I've learned my lesson and will only go during the morning shift. This one star is meant for the afternoon shift. read more

They redid the parking lot for this McDonald's so that there are two lanes and it is absolutely horrible! I know they were trying to better manage the traffic, but this does not help. The lines get backed up more! The service is terrible! We had to wait twice for our food in the customer parking lane because our order wasn't ready. This location recently renovated the parking lot to double the line capacity and create 2 lines without adding any capacity to serve more quickly. Drive thru is incredibly slow and food is lukewark/cold because you have to wait so long (double the cars) to receive it. Also, the new flow of the drive thru line does not work well. The line is supposed to split after drivers reach a point at the front but many people just drive up into the shortest line without waiting for the split. After my most recent experiences, I go out of my way to drive to another location and to avoid this one. read more

Every time I come to this location they are extremely busy. Which is completely understandable and something the employees can not control. Though, I continue to come here because I have never really had a problem with them. Today however, I go through to the drive through and ask for the 13 cookie tote, all chocolate chip. I was then told they were out of chocolate chip cookies. I then tell the guy that I will do sugar instead. I was then told that they were completely out of cookies. He then tells me to hold on about 5 times within about 2 minutes. In that time i called my mother to see if she wanted anything to make use of the time. He then comes back and says they have cookies but they aren't ready. I told him that was perfect because I wanted my cookies fresh anyway. He says ok and I proceed to the first window, i proceed to the next window and they hand me a box of what I notice to be cold cookies. I ask him "are these fresh? And he says "yes. They just pulled them out of the oven" though, I always check and the cookies were hard as a rock. So I went inside to explain their mistake and guess what I saw... 2 rows of what look to be the same exact cold, old cookies they gave me. So not only did they give me old nasty cookies, but the guy who took my order lied and said they didn't have anymore. Smh. All I wanted was my cookies ‍ read more
